Our dinner last night was amazing. The best spaghetti carbonara my partner ever had. My linguine marinara was full of seafood and the pasta was just perfect. My cocktail was delicious and well presented. Our waiter was very friendly and took great care of us. Desserts very delicious too and the portion size was very good. Didn't have to wait for the food for long and the atmosphere was great too. Very comfy chairs, just what we needed after a day of walking. Reasonably priced, can't fault it.

An excellent lunchtime meal. Great lamb chops. Quality wine. Super friendly host and staff.

Visited today with family, the place has a lovely set out and really friendly staff. However, the food is very basic, bland, and nothing special. Me and my partner had the grilled chicken and it was tasteless and watery, so much all the chips were soggy and the plate was dripping in water. We did leave feeling disappointed and that our money was wasted. Sadly would not recommend.

Ate here for my Daughter’s 17th birthday last Saturday. Excellent service from all the staff especially Bianca, a lady who has served us each time we have been here. She was so attentive and kind to the children who have been with us each time and also my disabled son. Thank you Bianca and all the staff!

We all enjoyed a really delicious meal with outstanding service and a very relaxed atmosphere. Lots of choice on the menu and all courses prepared to such a high standard. We would also recommend the rosé wine. Gorgeous! ✨

I couldn't recommend Amo's Restaurant enough! The staff went above and beyond in helping me plan a family get-together for my Dad's 60th birthday celebrations - both before the visit as well as during. Each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and they allowed us to bring our own birthday cakes. Thank you to the owners and staff for all of your help. It was very much appreciated.

For the first time ever we had lunch today …the food was amazing ,service was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing ….staff were welcoming and made sure I was comfortable as I use a wheel chair …Thank you so much we will be back …..

As Panamvino; very good food with a wide selection in this large restaurant. The service issues that it had when it first opened appear to have been resolved and the service was very good. The prices are moderate and the food presentation was particularly good. The restaurant is also very welcoming to young children with a small play area they can amuse themselves in. REVISITED This restaurant has reinvented itself under the name "Amos". I would love to give it the glowing review I have given it previously. Unfortunately they seem to have taken a good restaurant and comprehensively spoilt it. The new decor/ atmosphere is that reminiscent of a 60s holiday camp, complete with plastic flowers all over the place, huge wall murals and gawdy pictures. The menu now features a lot of Greek food and is all a bit confused. Sorry to say the food we had was really quite poor quality. Did not appear to be freshly cooked and was tepid. As an example, what was a lemon sauce combined with white wine and balsamic vinegar from a salad on the same plate was so acidic it was unpalatable. Salad covered in gravy doesn't work either. Such a shame, let's hope they get their act together but in the meantime I could not recommend it. Gave it a second chance and the food was transformed from my last visit. Excellent pasta, will definitely go back. So glad they have found their mojo again 👍 Been a while since I have tried this restaurant. Had a basic pizza which was very good. They have taken the Greek food off the menu, it is just Italian, which I think is a wise move. Unfortunately the dessert, a cannoli was not very good at all. The pastry was soggy and the filling had set and was grainy. I suspect it had been made up quite a long time in advance and kept in a refrigerator. So still very variable in quality and on that basis would hesitate to recommend a visit.

I keep meaning to leva e a review for this place but every time I leave I’m always to full and merry and relaxed. Amazing service, amazing food, cater for every need and soooo family friendly. We plan nearly all of our last minute meals out, but family gatherings or special occasions on this place. Highly recommend!

Pleased to find a couple of slightly different dishes, and impressed by the fancy circular fan of calamari. All looks brand new and clean. There is a children's play area and a properly accessible toilet/baby change room. Happy to recommend.

From the drinks to the food, everything was outstanding. The cocktails were so full of flavour, and the food was the absolute best, so delicious!! I would 100% come back, the servers were very welcoming and the restaurant’s design was beautiful. I highly recommend this stunning restaurant.

We went late afternoon and it was very quiet, we were the only ones in there at one point. It's a charming place to sit and have a meal, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely normally go to cassa bianca but found this gem today just down the road food was stunning my daughte has asked us to book it for her birthday meal in June looking forward to going back beautiful food and restaurant x

Just had an amazing meal with a big group of friends. We all been saying same delicious food fantastic service very polite and they made the evening so special being so attentive had an amazing steak and delicious lasagne. Will be coming back soon!

Not impressed. Husbands seafood risotto was inedible, so left most. Eldest Grandsons steak was grizzly and tough, even I found it hard trying to cut in, "after having to ask for a steak knife" as it didn't materialize at time of being served. Other grandsons pizza base was undercooked and soggy, however as both boys were very hungry and looking forward to this birthday treat, so disappointing! My Seabass repeated on me all day afterwards, so I would absolutely agree with a previous reviewers opinion that "seafood is not fresh"! Service was not great either considering only two other tables (only 9 persons in total dining that morning)! And again we had to ask for spoons to eat our desserts, twice!!

Went midweek with my wife out of season. The restaurant had a decent amount of customers. We sat in the main dining area at the rear. There was decent background music and the obligatory seascapes painted on the walls. We were having a short break and spent some time at the end of the evening chatting with the manager. Basically had a wonderful evening and experience.

Nice ambience, but the food was at best below par. I had the chicken which was very dry. Can't personally recommend any other dishes but my companions weren't that impressed with their choice of meals also.

EDITED as It seems I can’t reply to the answer. I never got through so whoever you think you spoke to, it wasn’t me. I had my call hung up on twice without being able to get through! What I don’t like about your reply is that you’re accusing the poor driver of stealing the order and making me out to be a liar instead of taking responsibilities. I work in marketing and social media and know this isn’t how you handle complaints. You should rethink your approach and how you reply as a business. Order cancelled by the restaurant after waiting for 2 hours!! Tried phoning several times, but twice someone answered and hung up immediately, so couldn’t even check on the progress of the order. Shocking behaviour from a restaurant. Will forever avoid this shambles of a restaurant.

My 9 year old son got served raw chicken. I’m not just talking pink inside. The one side of it was flesh and completely raw. The waiter looked mortified when I showed him. Hence the one star review. Rest of the meals were mediocre. £140 on mediocre meals. The pork dish was served with ‘roasted veg’ . Had 2 chunks (slices) of carrot, 2 new potatoes sliced in half, and 2 strips of roasted pepper. Such a pity. Lovely attentive waiting staff and such a lovely place inside. Food let it down terribly though. Had a table of 23 booked in a couple of weeks for a birthday. Definitely will be cancelling.

What a fab find! Went here last night with 2 friends. We hadn't booked and just turned up. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. The inside was decorated beautifully and very clean. We ordered starters and mains, and everything was delicious. When my friends popped to the toilet, the waiter came and asked me if it was one of my friends' birthdays, which it was, and he asked if I would like them to bring some cake with a candle and sing Happy Birthday, which was so lovely. We already had a great evening, but the extra effort of the cake and singing just made it extra special. We'll definitely come back. Thank you so much, Amos.

Been here 3 time previously and it been ok. But this time the menu choice has been reduced and so has the service. Front of house staff very apologetic bu think cook can only prep one meal at a time. First starter finished before last one came out and we were only a party of 6.

I went as part of a large group of friends we had pre ordered our meals, when we received the food they were not hot this may have had something to do with the plates being cold. The list of mistakes were on going through the evening. When we complained they said they would take off money for one drink each, even though whole meals were sent back not eaten. We had looked forward for a few months for the evening and it was ruined because the food wasn’t fit to eat. As you can imagine we won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend anyone else spend there hard earned cash. Disappointed customer

Previous visit was lovely but we visited as a group of 15 and the food was cold chewy and not edible . Staff were lacking in knowledge for allergies and one member of staff needs her attitude checked - very rude when paying the bill .

A beautiful place, unfortunately some of our group were very disappointed, over cooked meat that was tough, veg overcooked served with a few halved roast new potatoes. Sorry won't be going again, such a shame I expected more.

First off the menu will take you an hour to read, not to mention the additional specials menu. Just too much to choose from - you're left wondering if they can do anything that well. The starter was luke warm aranchini served on rocket that looked like it had just been tossed from a bag (no dressing). No depth of flavour and poor presentation. For main I went with the wild boar tortolini served on a wholly unnecessary thick scraping of grilled cheese the length of the plate. All dumped on a mixed leaves undressed salad. The dish was topped with walnuts that could have been toasted at least. The tortolini was stodgy and very heavy resulting in a carbs overload. In contrast the moussaka was served with a salad swimming in oil. Again covered in cheese and served in a very small dish. To be fair once past the cheese, the taste was acceptable but not ground breaking in flavour if you have ever made your own. The pizza was a good attempt and probably the best main. Overall the setting is good and the staff are attentive but the food is lacking somewhat in my opinion. Won't rush back unless menu is streamlined and a bit more effort is put in to presentation and flavours. You have to wonder with a menu of this size how much is actually handmade or if most of it is reheated. There is a lack of passion for food coming through in what is served.

The waitress working today went above and beyond to make my birthday lunch really special, and she deserves more than 5 stars, she's an absolute asset to Amo's. Wonderful food also. A really pleasant place to eat out at. We will be back!

We went for Greek food but unfortunately it was not as nice as it used to be. We always take the same dishes but this time they didn't taste nice at all. They have also removed other lovely dishes we used to have. One of the dish had to go back as well. I felt completely waist of money. Such a shame as we used to love going there. Not anymore.

Quite noisy. Harsh, jazzy versions of Christmas music. LOADS of garlic, but otherwise really well cooked. Service was very good, despite only one waitress having to cope with all the tables.

Atmosphere is luxurious but food is basic. Service is good like but food isn’t good: diluted tasted, and most importantly seafoods are not fresh. Good for pictures. Not for tasty, or fresh food.

We went here early on a Wednesday Eve, so quite quiet. The service was ok. Nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about either. The food just wasn't very good though. I tend to have calamari everywhere I go. I'm not really a foodie, but I love it, usually. So that was the starter and it was pretty poor. Can't remember what the wife had but she thought it was a bit meh too. Main course was lasagna which was just about ok. Nothing came with it, which wasn't made clear by the waitress. Maybe that's ok me for not asking specifically. And the dessert was a pretty average tiramisu. In all, we won't return again. Maybe if you had other dishes they'd be better. I'd also point out, to be fair, we didn't complain about anything so we didn't allow them the opportunity of rectifying anything. So we don't know how they would have reacted, but there's a whole town of other places we'd go to rather than return here. It was clean and tidy, and a lovely layout inside, if rather cold. So not a dive. Just really average food and a feeling we just wasted our money which might have been better spent on ready meals in the Tesco opposite

One of the most authentic tasting Italian restaurants I've visited. The staff are all passionate and welcoming, and the food was served promptly. It was all absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Whenever I visit Abergavenny I'll be coming back to Panevino for sure. Not much to say. But good enough to tip. When you show appreciation say 's it all. Slight hiccup on one meal,but delt with , Without a problem. All credit to Amos.

Great place to eat, it was so relaxing, no rushed service, staff were great, food was fab, well worth a visit.

We had an exceptionally good evening here on Thursday 7th Sept - we had greek starters and pizza and the service and the food were both outstanding - an authentic Italian feel made even better by the chef stopping by our table for a chat after - the special offer of a free dessert was a nice surprise as we had not noticed that. Recommend you give it a go.

We popped in abit late got told they are losing kitchen in a bit. So we walked out but one lovely guy jogged out and welcomed us back in. He respectfully apologised on behalf of his colleague that it was a mistake. Got us a table, welcome water and put menu. He served us from beginning to end and honestly he is exceptional and so is the rest of the team when we gave him the credit for his lovely warm service.

I had to organise a special family dinner for 26 of us. Amo’s were able to cater for this and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent! Despite such a large order, the food was very well presented, with fresh herbs evident. All the main meals came out together. I have no idea how they did that for so many people! Everyone really enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of the back room with the fountain in the centre of the room. Service was outstanding, we had several waiters/waitresses attending our table and they were all excellent. The quality and presentation of the food was like a very expensive restaurant, yet the prices were very reasonable. I can heartily recommend!

Had the BRUSCHETTA NAPOLETANA for starter was lovely and very Refreshing and then for my main i had the lamb shank witch was just lovely, juicy, tender and definitely would order again

Had the ARANCINI for starter, its was very delicious and for my main I had the stuffed chicken with homemade bread. The chicken was very lovely and succulent. Would definitely be going back.

Menu was varied, but disappointed that they didn't have any GF bread available. The soup had to be sent back to the kitchen as they'd put croutons on it, even though we ordered gluten free. Waited a long time for our main course. Food was very tasty and decent portions, we ordered the evening specials. Didn't bother with dessert as there were no gluten free options available.

Very tasty food, great service and very handy kids play area too. We ordered a bottle of New Zealands Savignon Blanc and got a French one instead, but it was ok too. Waiter was very nice. We definitely will be back.

Absolutely loved the food at this place. Great quantity for the cost and they also had some offers going on when we went. This was a total random pick on our roadtrip as we wanted to eat some pasta. I ordered the Canneloni and my bf ordered the Tagliatelle di Casa and both were delicious. We also had the Greek chips which could have been crispier and the funghi starter which had a great garlic sauce. The waiters were very cordial and friendly. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Food very good service very poor. Arrived with friends. We were seated then 40 mins later still no order taken. I asked at the bar for drinks and our drinks order then taken. Waiting again and had to remind them to take food order. Food came and was delicious. Then we had to ask again for dessert menu. This came but 20mins later no order taken. At this point my friend got up and asked for the bill and complained about complete lack of service. Manager came and brought complimentary desserts and apologised. He said they were short staffed. Nice gesture but all in all our evening was spoiled.

The service was unmatched. immediately greeted and sat down. we had the mixed fried cheese starter and it was amazing. the cocktails selection was great and tasted fantastic. The atmosphere of the whole place was very romantic. I highly reccomend taking your other half here.

Went in on the rainy Thursday night before the coronation on my own. Place was empty, with the weather and bank holidays ...and got served a great steak. These guys are ok. They could have turned me away ( gone 8 o'clock) but they sorted me out. Well. Fair play. I'll be back when the weather's better.

I really like this restaurant. Great food and service and at reasonable prices. The decoration is modern, clear and inviting. I'm not sure the name and brand suits the cuisine though. You expect Greek but get mostly Italian. But this mix definitely works. .

A good menu with fairly extensive med inspired choices covering pizza, pasta and grills. Food is fairly tasty with substantial portions.

Good service and food. Good offers on lunch and evening midweek. Free starter with any main course. It is a very large restaurant so tend to be big groups of people and we were seated next to two large groups and it was very noisy for 2 of us in the middle sectioned off part. There were other areas of place that we could have been seated.

Really tasty mains. Friendly staff. Clean. Good ambiance. They go abit wild with the olive oil dressing so next time will ask them to leave it out of the salad. Desserts overpriced but same for lots of places I guess. My lasagne was huge but my friends' was alot smaller. As there were only two of us eating it was really noticeable.

Lovely staff. Well priced. Came here on the off chance and My son wanted to go for pizza on his birthday and we have since returned 3 times. Pizzas are lovely and so is the lasagne and sausage linguine
