Prompt and friendly service with a varied menu along with some great daily specials and good coffee. A few steep steps and a short gradient to access the toilets.

Walked in for breakfast, sat down, waited and no one came to take my order, so I left.

First time there today, could not fault it from the time we entered the door , polite service and quick , food was spot on , nicely set out on the plate and piping hot , will definitely reccomend to others, and return.

Very popular eatery amongst the locals, and we joined after recommendation. Lovely food, nice place, seating inside and outside and very friendly staff. Prices are quite reasonable and overall an enjoyable experience.

It's a decent sized traditional cafe. It was very busy on a Sunday morning which was a really good sign & we were not disappointed. Service was fairly quick considering how busy it was, coffee was excellent & the full breakfast was exceptional. Probably the best I've had on my many trips around Wales & it was very good value. We will definitely be visiting again.

We love to lunch at Luigi's with great menu choice & really competitive prices! This trip to lunched on cod & chips as well as italian carbonara & salad! Service is quick & efficient & Luigi's had a warm & cosy atmosphere! Recommended for great food, large portions & low price! Enjoy!

Ordered tuna salad which came with pineapple chunks scattered all over which menu didn't state. Asked for salad dressing to be told they only have olive oil. Then was just stared at by kitchen staff while my children ate because i refusing the salad. When paying was then told they apparently did have salad dressings. Overall very uncomfortable experience

Brunch today food as always fab

The portions are large and it's a well run place, cosy with what I think are regulars. For some reason the pasta sauces and chilli for the potato was not seasoned. Not sure if this was to allow people to adjust to their personal taste or an oversight. Be prepared to be filled to the brim.

Breakfast time on Sunday morning at cafe. With surprise I have been here before but with my mind set for food in town and a trip to Oasis cafe after. Make the effort, dress up a little, put your best shoes on and walk in. Service with a smile. Well breakfast is coming, talk later.

Exceptionally nice place. Great staff. Very friendly. Vera is lovely. Coffee is out of this world. Brilliant location at the bottom end of town. Highly recommend.

Great café, quick service, run properly unlike modern café's with slow service. Food was tasty, staff very helpful, prices are fair. Happy to go there again whenever I visit Abergavenny.

My husband and I had cottage pie, it was gorgeous would definitely recommend. The girl who served us was lovely as well.

Great little place to get a full English breakfast, tasted amazing and wasn't greasy, you might want to add extras to your plate if you have a larger appetite like me though.

We were expecting an Italian restaurant, but it's more like a cafe that also sells some Italian dishes. Nothing flash. That being said, the staff were lovely and the food was good, so we were happy!

We live in Manchester and found Luigis on our trips to Merthyr Tydfil. We had just stopped off to go to Rosemary's and fell up on this delightful cafe. My husband particularly loves the giant Yorkshire pudding with liver, onions & gravy.

Although it sounds like an Italian job it's more of a down to earth caff with all the usual menu items found in a good breakfast / lunch eatery with some good coffees and some Italian options thrown in for good measure. Solid offering.
