I've stayed here in my campervan for Abergavenny Food festival. Lovely little campsite on a golf course with friendly and accommodating staff. Good hardstanding pitch with electric hook up and reasonably priced. The clubhouse was good with facilities and local beers in the bar. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again!

Lovely 18 hole course with driving range and pitch and put nice bar pool table and restaurant beut of a Sunday dinner I'd recommend to anyone even if you don't play golf

We used the golf club for a funeral function and the guys did not disappoint, lovely food and the area was perfect and relaxed.

We stayed at the caravan site and it's superb. Great size pitches and very private. Clubhouse us good too and serves lovely food.

Took some of my customers here for a golf day out. They loved it, Loved the friendly welcome and said course and views were stunning. This place certainly done me proud.

Excellent Welsh Beef Curry. Although they had ran out of rice, curry over chips was just as good.

Used the driving range and it was great. Reasonably priced bucket of balls and the facility was well kept. Staff were very helpful and willing. See you again soon.

Best clubhouse around for Sunday dinner

Enjoyed an afternoon playing pool and hitting a few balls with my boys... Very friendly and welcoming staff and customers.

Unfailingly friendly staff and playing members. I only ever play here in late October but it's always a pleasure to play in such scenery at such a happy club.

Didnt go for the golf but friends staying near by so had a few meals and drinks. Lovely meals and drinks not overly expensive and very generous portions.

Leuke baan voor een scherpe prijs van 20 pond. Verder tamelijk simpel "clubhuis" met zeer gunstig geprijsde drankjes. Baan biedt voldoende variatie en de greens waren snel en venijnig geonduleerd. Goed lezen. Leuk om een baan met blinde holes en flinke hoogteverschillen te spelen, vooral als je leuk scoort natuurlijk 😁

Spent the bank holiday weekend here really lovely site, very clean and well spaced out. The food was very good and plenty of it. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Went to this course and the service from the lady in the clubhouse/shop was brilliant. She was so friendly and it really made me positive about my round here from the outset. Absolutely brilliant! We had a lot of rain overnight but the course was decent. Not long but challenging as you had to know where to hit the shots. It is a quirky course and I enjoyed it here. The members we saw seemed very nice as well. After a stressful morning, I felt so much better after my round here.

Very wet ground, upcoming lockdown will give it time to heal, and ground staff time to repair, otherwise still a nice course to play. At moment course merits 3stars

Having spent 3 nights at the campsite and played 2 rounds of golf on their course we have nothing but praise fo Wernddu.The shower block was immaculate and well organised .Sanitzers everywhere. Staff excellent. We'll be back😀

Great place to camp, sadly our pitch was very muddy thankfully didn't rain too much while there so it compacted down well under our breathable ground sheet, took 2 days to clean it when we got home lol

We always go camping here, we have only been proper camping for the past year, so friendly, no children rule campsite piece and quite. Great area. Club house food is good, excellent all round. Toilet and shower rooms spotless, also they have a small laundry area. Dogs aloud also which is fab. 👌🍷🍺

Great adults-only campsite, just outside Abergavenny. Discounted golf (full, and pitch 'n' putt) available for campers. Campsite pitches are large and well serviced - the clubhouse also does great beer and food.

Came to Wernddu campsite to give our new to us caravan a shakedown but was pleasantly surprised at what the site has to offer golf,fishing (perhaps later on in better weather)views, and a splendid clubhouse with very friendly hosts. Came home Monday and booked another stay before bedtime. Pity it was blowing a gale with heavy rain and hail stones but looking forward to the next stay. Thank you.

Nice course, good atmosphere, nice hospitality

Lovely course, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. Lovely pint of Guinness and cloudy cider after the 18 holes. One thing stopping it having 5. Lack of food on offer. After walking miles in sight grass a burger or toasty would go down a treat. Once a menu is on offer the is definitely a five star place

Fab site near enough to Abergavenny town to walk there in around 20 minutes. All flat pitches too.

We have been staying on this site reguarly for over 5 years now and my hisband had been a member of the club. This site is perfect for adults only whether youre a golfer or not. Pets are welcome but with strict rules and cant be taken off the lead at all. We have enjoyed many meals which have always been tasty and great portions, the sunday lunches are also a treat with plenty of veg and crispy roast potatoes. The staff are always happy and smiling and very helpful, a great team. The scenery around the area is stunning and Abergavenny a very short drive away, beware of the potholes on the drive .....

Fantastic campsite but was spoilt by the owners attitude, we only just arrived and setting up and the owner came over to say about the dogs barking which wasn't constant, was told if they didn't stop we would have to leave, spoilt my stay completely. We definitely won't be coming back, real shame as the other campers were lovely, and nice location

Simple honest friendly course with great views and great staff

Second time we visited this campsite with the intention of me playing golf. Course is in good condition considering the recent hot spell of weather. Really enjoyed playing it again and will return in the future. Not the easiest of walks but a good challenge. Round of golf is 50% off for campers which is a great bargain.

We recently played this golf course during the very hot weather and were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the greens. The front nine holes were more forgiving but longer than the back nine. I’ve played this course on a number of occasions and I’ve enjoyed it every time. The course is also easily walkable. Green fees at £10 through the week is a bargain. Looking forward to our next game here.

We’re not golfers but we enjoy an occasional visit to the campsite. The family run site is a little tatty round the edges and the showers & toilets could do with a deep clean but they charge a reasonable £20 a night and the people are very friendly and welcoming. The best thing about it is the clubhouse, where they serve tasty bar snacks and a very good Sunday lunch (which must be pre-booked) and the drinks are fairly priced too.

Nice course and friendly atmosphere in club house

Originally a nine hole course mostly of par 3s, but expanded to full 18 with a number of par 4s and 5s. The old 9 is relatively tight and has some water so you have to be accurate. You have more room on the new nine and chance to get the woods out. Reasonably priced and has its own driving range. Good course for learners. Nice small clubhouse and small shop.

Great adult camping and golf venue

Need to book! Excellent Sunday Lunch! Served in the conservatory, but can be eaten in the bar if you wish to take your dog with you. The food and service are second to none. We chose the beef last week and it was amazingly good. (People at the nearby table had lamb shanks, and were equally happy)

Very enjoyable game of Golf, with some fantastic views. For the price I would recommend giving it a go.
