Good value, good food and range of bakery products, pleasant staff . The pasties are particularly good and this is the place we most frequently patronise when we visit Abergavenny. It also accepts cash which is an absolute must for us.

Google said the closing time was 4.30pm, got there at 4.01pm to be told it closed at 4pm. The woman in the shop thought it was funny that she had just closed. Very strange woman. Was starving to 🤷♂️. Back to Usk. Much better service

We stumbled across Parsons on our way to Greggs and decided it looked like a better option on account of the outdoor seating. We weren't disappointed - the pasties were delicious and the coffee and cakes were also fantastic. A family of 4 fed and watered (sweet, savoury and a drink each) for £18. Service with a smile made it even better. We will definitely return!

Lush pasties in here, beats any of the other bakeries in Abergavenny. The Christmas pasty is the one!

It is lovely to sit outside this small bakery and eat a lovely pasty and drink a lovely latte for a very reasonable price.

There is always fresh, home made food at reasonable prices, and the service is always very good. There is always a very long que out the door, but the food is worth the wait.

This pleasant sandwich bar/bakery is a great place to enjoy a hot drink and either a hot/cold sandwich or a hot savoury, great o a warm dry day as all seating is outside.

Had stopped for an hour in Abergavenny on a trip last week and spotted this bakery. Had a really lovely cream cake and cinnamon bun. We went out of our way to visit again on our way back home and had the lunch deal with sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Very impressed with the quality and even more impressed with the price.

The food is always good. When it was first set up it was shocking but now it is class. The only downside is the staff. They are rude and impatient. I had a delivery and a dominos worker rang me and was shouting at me that the driver was outside my house, why wasnt I there, over and over again. the driver was at the wrong house and I was standing in my porch, not even able to see them. the delivery drivers are lovely, cannot say a bad word about them but the fact the worker shouted at me down the phone that I was ignoring the delivery driver is a put off. if the food was not excellent I would 100% slate this place but its a good meal

Took my sales team here for lunch, 10 of us in total. The food is incredible and you certainly won’t go hungry. Everyone at the pub is friendly and can’t do enough for you. Feels like a good old fashioned boozer set in an amazing position on the Wye. Everyone only had good things to say about the place. Steak is a specialty here. No hesitation in recommending the Rose and Crown. Thanks all who looked after us that day.
