Abergavenny Kebab House in Monmouthshire

Staff are so friendly and know their customers. I usually phone my order through in advance for convenience. Their chicken shish is amazing - always cooked to perfection and the mixed donner wraps too. Always have found their food delicious. Their homemade garlic sauce is incredible! Garlic bread pizza with cheese is another favourite. They’re open late so many choices and always such fresh and good quality. Attached a picture of a mixed wrap I bought yesterday that I cut in half. Doesn’t it look stunning! A work of art!! Can’t beat that!!

Brilliant food and top quality. Good staff who know and value their customers! Two things that I personally love are the chicken shish and mixed donner wraps and their cheesy garlic bread is so yummy and the dough base they use is delicious!

The food and service were outstanding, but what truly set the experience apart was the enthusiasm and warmth with which the staff served us. The waiting times were excellent, and the quality of the food was exceptional. And I have no problems with giving them a full 5 stars!

Called in with the family for some food. Customer service was 5 star,nothing was too much trouble. Order was cooked fresh and I have to say was the best kebab by miles. They even gave a free bottle of Pepsi for the kids.. thank you

On a wet Saturday in March, having watched Wales lose to Italy in the 6 nations, I was looking for something to eat. Having walked up and down the high street, I decided on a kebab wrap, shish and chicken shish combo with all the trimmings, and it was lovely. Meat was very tender and well cooked and staff were polite and friendly. Yummy, will go back again if I'm in the area..... one thing to be aware of, they only take cash so don't rely on a card being accepted!

Always a pleasure to order, polite and courteous. Fantastic food and great value for money. Small kebabs seem to be more like large, (if you have a small appetite). Would recommend to anyone visiting and for those that want to try for the first time. It's been our 'go to' for a number of years now - we love it 🥰

Regularly order food and prefere this takeaway over the others that serve the same food.. Says online that they close at midnight on a Saturday night but after calling to order multiple meals , the staff confirmed that they close at 2am not 12am like the website says.

Absolutely 1st class., best Kebab takeaway in town or for miles around in my opinion. Got the mixed grill, superb, meat cooked perfectly, great fresh salad. Great portions could easily feed a family of four. Thank you!

Expensive, poor quality meat plus food poisoning!

Was given a kebab of mixed chicken and lamb which was a multitude of small scraps of meat. Awful and cost ten pounds.The veg on the other hand was good and plentiful. Would not return based on the poor quality.

Last week i had a terrible experience with the people in the shop. I ordered a take away and they gave me a different order which I didn’t order. We had an argument and one of the staff who was soo disrespectful and racist. Not a decent spot for clients. Once assuming there is any issue with the order, they will begin argument. They don’t respect their customers I don’t recommend this place for my friends and family anymore.

I stopped in here on a Sunday as I was spending the night and needed a quick and cheap meal. The place was clean and well lit and the guys working were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a large lamb shish kebab. They cooked 2 massive skewers from scratch of what turned out to be lovely succulent and tender lamb. The salad selection was great including coleslaw, which was a first for me on a kebab. The chilli sauce was great, flavourful and not overpowering with heat. Not the cheapest kebab I have ever had but definitely worth every penny and great value for money. Would recommend highly.

Stopped by on a road trip after reading then reviews and found it lived up to the hype, it's Great Place when you need a bite in the evenings, Staff are very friendly and Cool. And as mentioned already - very generous portions.

I've had a couple of kebabs from here now and I'm never disappointed. They always pack in the meat so I'm always full after. Staff are friendly and prices are good.

Got a kebab from here whilst on holiday it was the greasiest thing I have ever eating made my girlfriend ill the place was dirty and the man was not very nice

I had a mixed shish with salad and everything was perfect.... the meat was good quality and cooked just right, the bread and salad were fresh and the garlic sauce tasty. The only feedback would be to offer a hotter chilli sauce.

Although me and my good lady are in our fifties we found it difficult to walk from The Coliseum (Wetherspoons) to the Premier Inn in Llanfoist without buying food in here. So we did. We had two large chicken shish kebabs with garlic sauce and it was like going back in time. Yes we could have had a heart attack but so what? it tasted lovely. This is very much the place where people fall over while ordering food..... but such is life. Gorgeous. The next morning my coat was covered in food stains. i have no idea why...?

We use this kebab shop at least once a month,always clean here and very pleasant staff,very tasty kebabs and lovely fresh salads,it can get very busy in here but it's worth waiting for and is always hot enough to eat when you get it home

Called if as i had a Kentucky Chicken craving . My Chicken was a bit soggy and after i had purchased it i was worried about hygiene as when i left i saw they only had one star rating [should have looked before entering].
