Lovely Authentic Chippy. Food delivered piping hot and great portion sizes, will definitely order again when visiting Abergavenny

I live not far from Frydays, staff are always good to me and go out of their way for me, food is also good. Well needed fish and chip shop.

Wow, wow, wow. If I could leave more than 5 stars I definitely would. This place has been my go to fish shop for over a year now and each time the chips are hot, fresh and delicious, along with the creamy cheese that they put on top. I travel 30 mins to get your chips each time. And I will continue to do so. The best chips in south wales!

Amazing food , staff , cleanliness, all fantastic

Ordered 2 x faggots, chips, peas and gravy for £7.80, only to receive 2 x faggots. Contacted Frydays who said they would resend out the missing items. Waited over an hour, still nothing. Contacted Frydays again only to be told they would not send out the missing items because I bought it through Just Eat. Even though it is obviously an error on their app. In addition, the items we did receive were cold. Won't buy from there again.

Out of 4 orders. Only one was correct. Incompetent, I’ve had a more enjoyable experience at a funeral. Never met a more useless pair of morons in all my live. Avoid like the plague unless you’ve got brain cells in the single digits

Always friendly here. Food is always consistently good quality. Good portion sizes I would prefer they didn't use polystyrene, but they are a good chippy.

Food is alright, portion size way too small tho especially since these are both "large" portions. Cost over a fiver too. Bruh.

On a traditional chippy tea night when the chip shops in town are way too busy, this little gem is always nice a quiet and the best fish and chips in Abergavenny but please don't tell anyone as I hate waiting for my fish and chips

Love to take there time chips are bad quality and can’t even serve a que In the right order was 1st in que and had 3 people order before me due to workers being so zombie like. Curry sauce like water obviously just added water and warmed it up after the day before

Friendly, chatty, courteous staff. Rang and ordered ahead. The best fish, fabulous texture, super battered sausage and plenty of salt and vinegar on the chips as requested. You cannot go wrong

Bought "large" chip roll. Waste of my money I had. Chip roll was tiny. Didn't even cover up the tray. And the chips... were awful.

Kids just came back with a medium portion SMALLER than my hand. Thanks for ripping them off & giving them a smaller than small portion.
