Panevino Italian Restaurant Abergavenny in Monmouthshire

Absolutely stunning food thank you, highly recommended great location and they definitely go the extra mile

Bland meals, no meal presentation. Tried a couple of times but everytime it's the same boring presentation and bland taste, no improvement.

Starter, mains and desserts were great. pizza was well cooked and the service staff were awesome. Would highly recommend 🍕

Had a takeaway Rigatoni Arrabiata Pasta and it was tasteless. Considering it was suppose to have chilli in it too. Pasta was undercooked. And I'm pretty sure your suppose to drain the pasta, I had half a pint of water in my takeaway tray.. Very disappointed.

As family of five, we visited around 6pm. Waitress nice and friendly. After ten minutes of looking at menu we were ready to order. Three of us wanted the pork fillet dish, only to be told when ordering that they didn't have any pork! It would have saved us a lot of hassle if we were told before! We hastily ordered alternatves. Two chicken dishes and a calzone with chili's on top. They brought out a pizza with chilis in a side dish instead of the calzone, my chicken was ok but in reality, was no more than the size of a childrens meal. It consisted of probably a butteflied half a chicken breast, two or three very small roast potatoes, sauce and a few cherry tomatoes. The other chicken meal was much larger than mine. If it wasn't for me having 4 slices of garlic pizza bread beforehand, I would have gone home still hungry. Cappuccino and garlic pizza bread were lovely, waitress was good. The other two bolognese meals were very bland. Didn't have desserts because they were all English type dishes - not an Italian dessert in sight.

Visited the restaurant with family for a casual meal and drinks and was extremely disappointed when faced with poor service and very average food. The staff were chaotic and disorganised, bringing the wrong drinks and wrong food to the table on multiple occasions. When we finally got what we actually ordered, I enjoyed my meal, but the evening was ultimately spoiled by the poor service.

Excellent customer service. Friendly, courteous and helpful server who took time to explain the allergens. As a Coeliac, our server’s help was invaluable. Menu was attractive, very good selection of dishes that caters for most tastes. Gluten Free options were easily accommodated as ‘normal’. Food was well presented, tasted really good and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Salad was fresh, well dressed and flavourful. Salmon was perfectly pan fried, not fatty or scorched at all. Husband’s pizza was excellent. Hand stretched dough with a great selection of marinara items, fresh tasty and moreish. Was a walk up on Monday, but we’ll definitely be booking next time.

Pe booked our meals due to there being 12 of us. Before we could sit down our food was being brought out. No offer of drinks, had to ask. Starters came out bit by bit. Mains were the same, Didn't get to eat together, not the best tasting food and service was awful.

A chance lunch stop, excellent service and both tasty and plentiful portions. Would happily eat there again, an excellent Calzone pizza.

WOW! What an experience. With such friendly staff and beautiful scenery couldn’t have enjoyed my stay with my family. Went there over the weekend and couldn’t ask for better food. Will be coming back 100% kids loved.

My friends and I (6 in total) visited on a Thursday evening recently. The restaurant was not overly busy, there were a couple of larger tables. Our booking was at 6 and it took over 1 1/2 hrs to get our food. There was not enough serving staff, the staff there were arguing and swearing at each other. One of our meals came out wrong because the wrong order had been taken and one meal didn't come out at all. We had to chase drinks as well, overall it was really disappointing and with so many options for good food in Abergavenny, we definitely won't be going back.

We recently visited panevino and the food was so good . All of our dishes had so much flavour and the portion sizes were excellent. You really do get good value for your money here. I had the linguine scallop and my husband had the linguine crab and both dishes was delicious. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant just has a really nice atmosphere. We will be returning . We had First Class Food here tonight, the service was top notch and the surroundings are beautiful. I had Scallops Sambuca to start which was superb and served piping hot, and my mains were salmon fillet with a champagne sauce and roasted veg. My partner had seafood risotto which was plentiful, with loads of shellfish and again served hot. We finished with caramel cake for him and I had ice cream with an espresso shot. Absolutely stunning, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. 10/10
