Oh what a find! Recommend to this place. Was In an unusual location but yes beautiful. It was quiet so was a little concerned. There was a lot of us so pre booked the food and the staff where on the ball. Lovely decor and good variety of drinks. We went straight for the mains and they were very nice indeed. The salmon was massive and very filling. The mash with it was nice but a little dry, however very nice and impressive food choice and delicious dessert. Very expensive but worth it. Thanks

I live miles away and they kept calling me no idea why! Unacceptable will be reporting to police! Avoid this place

Lovley breakfasts, and very nice cups off tea, lovley staff,very nice and clean ,good value for money,always busy.would go there again.

The perfect birthday lunch at the best restaurant in Bridgend by a long way. Everything is so fresh and perfectly cooked and presented. The owner and host on the day was a breath of fresh air compared to other restaurants in Bridgend. Thank you so much!

Absolutely the best out there!! Bread is the top quality and I have some experience being a baker for forty years. Top ingredients used. Beautifully baked. Just wish they would have more selection of morning goods Like Chelsea buns Fruit loafs, tea cakes Fruit scones. Crusty rolls French sticks.

We booked for Sunday lunch for 3pm. Our orders were taken quite soon for drinks and meals. We waited nearly an hour before staff brought our main meals out. I informed them that we hadn't had our starters. The food was great, lovely quality and very tasty. We finished our main meals but staff refused for us to order dessert. The waitress said they had closed the kitchen as they had run out of cheesecake. I didn't believe it for a second. It was their fault that we were so late. Not impressed with the service at all .

Tried a different dish this time and when the owner asked our opinion it was nice hot and spicy we politely mentioned I would like More coconut to the dish and he was very obliging they did so and the food was awesome... These guys can make a good curry fair play

The food took us all by surprise! It was really really nice! Though the interior was a surprise to say the least, being very modern and minimal compared to the classic British pub we were expecting from the outside, the food was great! I had chicken with a cream sauce and potato cake which was divine, and all the other meals got high praise - a steak sarnie, steak and chips, and cauliflower fritters too. All lovely. The staff went above and beyond for us, and despite a lengthy wait, it was so worth it! Thanks so much, and if you’re looking for a well-priced quality meal in the area, I don’t think there’s much better!

Outstanding food & service, highly recommend this to anyone, better than miller and carter and better than pasture! Can’t wait to return!

Quiet on a bank holiday Monday evening but good service all the same. Recommended.

Lovely food and drinks, very friendly service, always a good experience.l - have been here quite a few times. It's a little quiet as it's a little out of the way but don't let that put you off, the food has won awards and the cocktails are very good! We went back yesterday just for drinks but was feeling a little peckish and though they had shut the kitchen they went to the effort to make something for us which was lovely to eat and very kind of them!

Good little station cafe. Decent selection of snacks. Coffee is nice enough. Pain aux Raisin was very good. Almost at Pret standard (the top tier of high street raisin danish).

Great coffee and breakfast. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere.
