The best restaurants in Morfa Bridgend South Wales

Went out for date night with my partner. Mike the server was an absolute gentleman and couldn't have been any better if he tried. Professional service, outstanding food and the atmosphere whilst we were there was lovely. Just what we needed for a late Valentines meal together. Would highly recommend and definitely will be coming back!

Evening meal out GeForce going away on holiday We booked a table early evening and arrived on time The service and food was good We paid our bill and we’re just finishing our wine when the manager approached us to ask us if we were leaving as he needed our table We had eaten a two course meal and had wine yet we were asked to vacate our table after only 65 minutes !!! The man had no manners and certainly no people skills On the way out I told him how rude he had been but there was no apology or understanding as to why he had offended us It seems he is in the wrong job Very poor show

Absolutely the best out there!! Bread is the top quality and I have some experience being a baker for forty years. Top ingredients used. Beautifully baked. Just wish they would have more selection of morning goods Like Chelsea buns Fruit loafs, tea cakes Fruit scones. Crusty rolls French sticks.

The food took us all by surprise! It was really really nice! Though the interior was a surprise to say the least, being very modern and minimal compared to the classic British pub we were expecting from the outside, the food was great! I had chicken with a cream sauce and potato cake which was divine, and all the other meals got high praise - a steak sarnie, steak and chips, and cauliflower fritters too. All lovely. The staff went above and beyond for us, and despite a lengthy wait, it was so worth it! Thanks so much, and if you’re looking for a well-priced quality meal in the area, I don’t think there’s much better!
