Amazing tapas! Fast service. Very well priced great atmosphere. Strongly recommend flat iron steak was stunning and the meatballs were also just as good

Once again this restaurant delivered great service, delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Have been coming here for years. You can always guarantee to have a good time. Only downside is the portion size seems to be shrinking. We do tend to stick to our favourite Tapas choices so maybe you could offer small and medium sizes options for those of us who don't mind paying a little more 😉

Such a superb restaurant! Have been to La Cocina about 4/5 times and can honestly say I can’t fault a single visit. Staff are always on the ball, never long wait for our drinks and food is out super quickly (10/10 to both kitchen & FOH on that!) The food is incredible, my favourite is definitely the Braised Pigs Cheeks and Montbry Garrotxa (Although the Pork Belly is a high contender). Thank you guys for always making the experience memorable, always look forward to a stunning visit here ❤️

Really good service ,especially considering the place was full. Wide selection of choice all of which were very tempting . We had 4 meat 1 fish and 3 veg nearly all of the dishes were better than good. Main niggles were potato bravas not so clever also chicken skewers a bit dry. All the dishes came to the table at the same time which meant a very cluttered table ,with food going cold personally we prefer the dishes staggered so hot when eating. Fully appreciate the difficulty in keeping track of orders and we were impressed that all the food hit the table hot on initial serving . Sum up staff brill ,food better than good and venue one of the best in Bridgend would we go there again ? Definitely Choice dishes for me were sea bass, chicken in bbq, pork belly (my fav on night) ,flatiron steak, and coli flour

Absolutely amazing evening tonight. Our waitress miss ryland was something else. What a lovely young woman. Ensured we were all happy throughout the night. One of the girls forgot her jacket and she came running after us. So nice to have a down to earth waitress looking after us putting no pressure on us. She deserves a mention. We will 100% be back. We had a 3pm booking with friends ,wasn’t hugely busy but filled up pretty quickly. Great choice of Tapas,Ber, Wine and catered for one party member who is Coeliac,the waitress was very helpful and engaged in guiding us through the menu choices. We all thoroughly enjoyed..3 tapas was enough for us..the hake ,aubergine and sesame chicken were all delicious…my husband and I had a cheese board …I’d say one between two is sufficient,though we both chose different cheeses and the staff kindly packed up what we couldn’t eat to take home.

Service terrible blonde woman with glasses awful! Looked through us 5 times while trying to order. Was greeted with attitude from the same woman. Took 25 minutes to get anyone’s attention we were one table of 4 others. We were made to feel unwelcome and purely from this one SERVERS attitude will never go back.

Excellent ambiance, super staff. Very courteous, professional staff. The manager Mr. Chris is really very experienced. I was happy to see the chef is Mexican, chef fernando is very talented. I'm going to surely visit here again. Totally recommended.

FYI don't ask to split the bill & I don't bother taking children!!!! When we first got there and asked if we could split the bill the manager Dan firmly told us "this is a restaurant not a bar"! Our table included x2 police officers and a social worker so we werent exactly a 'rowdy' bunch so no idea where it came from. My cousin went to the bar and tried to order a drink but was told that's not allowed! The food was cold and tasteless compared to my last visits. And to top it off the manager then told us that a certain table disagreed with our 3 Yr old 'running around' and will be making a call so social services!! Again the table consisted of highly educated and trained serving police officers and a social worker and I'd like to see any 3 Yr old sit down for 2 hours straight I'm assuming the absolute Karen wasn't happy that children were at the restaurant "spoiling" they're evening. Sadly, the Karen left straight after making the comment to the manager! We spent almost £300 there last night for my sisters 30th and the whole experience was terrible from start to finish

Stunning food! Me and my partner came here for lunch and ordered around 5 dishes. Every dish we ordered was absolutely stunning, great quality, great service and lovely atmosphere. It was also a very good price for tapas and such great quality food. We have visited a couple times in the past and will always be a favourite that we will continue to visit. Would 100% recommend❤️

What a wonderful little restaurant! Great staff, quick but not too quick service and a really fresh, calm and relaxed atmosphere. This was my husband and I’s first time trying tapas and I have to say, it surpassed all expectations! The food was Devine! All of it! The pulled pork & piquillo pepper sliders and the slow roasted belly of pork with caramelised apple & sidre jus were incredible but the best dish was the braised pig cheeks with roast garlic mash & crispy parsnip. Just wow! You will love this place! We can’t wait to visit again & try everything else on the menu! Oh, and the Sangria was delicious! 🍊
