Service was excellent, and food was hot, served promptly and all mains given at the same time. Warm and cosy ambience and a huge variety of curries on the menu. The shashlik is a party pleaser, it’s brought to the table still sizzling and never fails to impress.

Had a takeaway was very disappointed tikka was watery and my jalfrezi wasn’t the best not up to there with previous meals.

Ordered a medium lamb curry. I always ask if the lamb is tender and fat free. The waiter advised it was. I can honestly say it was one of the best curries I have ever had and I've had more than my fair share. The lamb was delicious no fat at all. I was one of a party of four all the meals were thoroughly enjoyed, piping hot, portion sizes were spot on. If in the area again we will definitely return. Price was very reasonable too. Thank you for your excellent food and service.

Poor vegetarian selection here. When asked to make a meat curry into a paneer curry was told it was not possible at all. Starters took a long time to come out, a waiter came and asked if we’d had it yet because our mains were ready. He then went and got our starters which had clearly been reheated as the onion Bhaji was boiling hot but very soggy, suggesting it was reheated and not recently from a fried. Main course was lovely though but rice portions are very small, definitely too small to share between two people if you do that. Probably won’t go back

Our order was wrong and when I rung to try and amend it to collect the correct one, I was spoken to disgustingly and they were very rude and abrupt. Poor customer service will not be purchasing from them again. Didn’t offer replacement for the order they got wrong

Went in for take away early Sunday evening so not mega busy in restaurant. Staff were polite venue was clean nice waiting area and food excellent. Only item missing that would've made it 5 star would've been recyclable disposable face towell

Food was just ok. As soon as we arrived and sat down we were rushed to finish our courses for the next one. When we said we needed more time they brought the next course out anyway. At the end of the meal we were rushed to finish and leave. We will not be returning. No wonder the place was empty.

It was my wife’s birthday meal treat, we were unable to book a table because of the Covid 19 lockdown so we had a take away instead. Wow! Wow! Every dish was delicious!

I'm a regular at this restaurant. It is the best Indian in Bridgend. It has the best quality food of any Indian restaurant in the area. The staff are amazing and make you feel welcome. You don't need to try anywhere else. This is the oldest Indian in Bridgend and you can see why they are still here.

The chicken was chunky but tasteless. The sauce too hot. Mediocre service. What a disappointment. There must be more to curry than this.

We collected our food,admittedly late on the evening of Valentine's day.Both our dishes were as if watered down in order to make it go further,with very little meat and flavour.The naan bread was cold and just dough like, as if the tandoori was not up to temperature sufficient to cook it.All in all,the poorest Indian takeaway we have ever had and most certainly would not return.

Visited the Natraj a number of times with friends and family and always had a really good meal. The staff are attentive and the prices for the food is very reasonable. I'd always recommend visiting here if your looking for a good curry!

Takeaway had lamb shakuti so delicious tender lean meat amazing rice and Naan bread. Quick friendly service as well

I've been going to the Natraj for the best part of 25 years and it has always served a spot on curry with good service and friendly staff.

Overpriced mediocre food, looked and tasted like something out if a tin. Waiter tried bringing mains while we were still eating starters, as such when we were ready for mains it was cold.

The food is absolutely divine, the service is fantastic, and the overall experience is out of this world. Amazing restaurant, cannot recommend highly enough.

A little Indian just a short walk from the Wyndham Arms. Perfect service. Excellent food and just what we needed. What more could you ask for?! We had the typical Indian meal and it was all eaten without a problem. Definitely go back when we return to Bridgend.

After living away for many years I went to this restaurant last night with my parents who live locally. My brother is a regular and we used to go as a family years ago. Ordered tandoori king prawn starter, prawn puree and 3 mains including chicken shashlik. It was superb - best Indian in years and we enjoyed every mouthful. Service was delightful - so friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you team Natraj.

Visited the restaurant on friday noght. I had madras and pilau rice. Really good curry. Chicken was delicious.. well treated by the friendly and efficient staff. Would recommend to anyone. Best curry ive had for a while.

Gone downhill recently but if you like spicy curries then this one is for you. The starters tend to be small portions. Vegetable Byriani good - share it as a rice dish to accompany another curry dish.

Have not been to this restaurant for years. Celebrating a family birthday and was suitably impressed. Very nice and pleasant staff. great selection of food at a reasonable price. We really enjoyed the experience.

Went there with my daughter and asked for the vegan options and was told there weren’t any . She ordered the chicken shashlik that she really enjoyed . Best she had had . Shame about the lack of vegan food in this day and age ! Rated low because of this . Lovely staff

This restaurant sets my benchmark for Indian cuisine. I now have to share my Prawn Puri with a friend that doesn't eat fish/shellfish but we always order the Prawn Puri and Chicken Chat to share. Food always full of flavour and consistently good.When visiting other restaurants I sample the prawn puri to see if it's as good as the Natraj's and then I will be able to tell if its a good Indian cuisine restaurant

Came here for a late Saturday night meal after enjoying the town, been 15 years since I came here as I now live elsewhere, but the service is still first class as was the food

Visited here whilst on a 2 night break. Chutney tray with poppadoms a bit boring. No imagination with the onions and a dry coconut mix. Curry ok but chicken a bit slimy. Husbands curry far too (spicy) hot. Not advertised as such on the menu. OK restaurant but not outstanding.

Tend to use this restaurant mainly for take-aways. Food has always been excellent and service with smile.

Its been a while since I visited but have done on a number of occasions and always thoroughly enjoyed. Close to the railway station and various car parks so access is very easy. Food and service has always been top class.

Visited just before Christmas in a party of 20 - the staff were great in making sure we all had drinks, taking the orders and getting the food out so we all eat at roughly the same time - a really enjoyable evening

Awful service. It was dead when we visited but service was still slow. Food was OK but nothing special, then to top it all off they tried to charge a £1.50 "tray charge" to take food we'd already purchased home with us. Do yourself a favour and visit Ashoka, 5 minutes up the road and a much better service and quality food.

Wow! Couldn't sit in to eat tonight as had to get back early.........but we bought a takeway meal from the Natraj. Always a risk, I think, as you don't often get the standard of food you get from a sit down. Well, tonight, we were blown away by the meal we had. It really was amazing. Very simple - Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Dhansak, pilau rice and onion bhaji. The flavours were awesome - better than any takeout meal we have had. Well done, once again to the Natraj!

Ardderchog Our 1st night out in Bridgend, it was just through sure luck our friends booked a table at this restaurant.Everything from greeting on arrival, decor, ambience, food, drink, service etc., were just spot on, and very competitively priced.Can't wait for a return visit, just wish they were in Carmarthen.

Went to the Natraj last night and was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and service was friendly and speedy - but not rushed. The atmosphere was so much more relaxed than other Indian restaurants I have been to - enough people to make it 'buzzy' but not overcrowded or noisy. A very positive experience - my Indian restaurant of choice when I next go. Much better than any other in the area - and I have tried them all.

Went here last night for some food with mates. Amazing food, service and speed. However for me the place needs a bit of decoration. It's out dated looks really bring down the overall experience. Mainly the men's bathroom. Wet floor and a feeling that makes you think you been thrown in the back room. If this place updated it's look then it would be perfect. The food here is very nice. You don't get the oily looking curries that I've seen in so many Indian Restaurants and takeaways and the price is pretty good. Personally, I think that the Simla Tandoori is better although you can't order alcohol there. The staff at Natraj were kind and the interior of the restaurant looks very nice.Would return!

In my opinion this is the better Indian restaurant in Bridgend, certainly for quality and tastiness of the the food at least. Service could be more friendly though.

Phoned to have a delivery and was disappointed when we were told they could not find our address considering we live 5 minutes driving distance away. The man we spoke to on the phone was very abrupt and not very helpful and suggested that maybe we should order from somewhere else??? Do you do liver? Or just lamb, chicken or beef?

I use this Indian Restaurant regularly for a takeaway and the food is very good every time. I have the lamb pathia and the lamb is cooked perfect and melts in your mouth, my partner has the chicken tikka masala and has never had a bad one. Would highly recommend this place and I just wish they delivered.

We visit regularly & is the only indian food I like in Bridgend. We had a take away tonight and it was great. 1st class food no problem there, the only issue is every time we order we get charged different prices. We have a nice car and if we park outside we get charged more for some reason! This is a standing joke between me and the husband.4 stars due to price interferences otherwise great
