Evening meal out GeForce going away on holiday We booked a table early evening and arrived on time The service and food was good We paid our bill and we’re just finishing our wine when the manager approached us to ask us if we were leaving as he needed our table We had eaten a two course meal and had wine yet we were asked to vacate our table after only 65 minutes !!! The man had no manners and certainly no people skills On the way out I told him how rude he had been but there was no apology or understanding as to why he had offended us It seems he is in the wrong job Very poor show

I honestly couldn't get enough of their delicious pizza it was the best I've ever had with one of the best deserts that's ever come across me and the coffee was stunning I will be coming again for this amazing experience

The food is amazing, the people are very friendly and welcoming and they serve the best potatoes ever.

Very disappointed at this restaurant, from the start plates being still on the table when the main course was bought out,to the poor quality food, when we raised issues the manager quite quickly didn’t give a Dam. First time and last time trying this restaurant 😤

Invited to an 18th celebration and everything was perfect 👌 they couldn't have done anymore for us. They even let us have a special celebration cake. Fantastic

Very good delicious traditional Italian food, of the 'I couldn't have cooked this better at home' variety. Which is want you want. Not particularly adventurous but very well executed hearty dishes in a charming cosy restaurant. The Gavi de Gavi is excellent too.

Popped in without a booking in the hope they had a table available for five. The restaurant was very busy, but after a bit of reorganising, they were able to squeeze us in. Service was excellent as was the food. Reasonably priced for the quality with a good range available. Drinks were a little expensive, but as we were there for the food, not a heavy drinking session, it was acceptable. A great atmosphere which wasn't overly noisy despite the restaurant being full. We'll definitely be going back.

Gorgeous!!! Felt like we were on holiday! Authentic, friendly, cozy and relaxed. 3 courses each and an alcoholic drink came to £75 which I thought was definitely worth it. Will be returning to this local gem 💎

When there as a family group. Staff were pleasant, atmosphere was great and we had a wonderful time. Most enjoyed their meal. I had the sausage risotto which was way to salty. Mentioned it to the staff but no response.

Nice Italian restaurant well worth a visit. Hidden in the town centre a bit. Atmosphere and decor very nice. Food very good and staff attentive and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Incredible service. Visiting area from Wolverhampton for my birthday and really made for feel special. We asked to move tables initially and server was more than happy to help. The guy was amazing, so friendly and without asking they prepared my dessert with a “Happy birthday” message and just reallly made the night special. Thank you so much! Can’t recommend enough!

Haven’t had a bad meal yet at Colosseo.Staff are pleasant. The ambience is good and the food is excellent. Always served promptly, piping hot and plenty of choice. If you ask for something specific staff will do their best to accommodate you. For example the last time I went I asked if gamberoni starter could be served not cooked in wine. Yes was the reply. On this occasion my friend asked if her Salmon would have a crispy skin. Yes it did.Unusually for me I didn’t have a starter. Risotto Gorgonzola was delicious as was the Creme Brûlée. Possibly the brûlée could have done with more vanilla for me but that’s maybe a personal choice. Lovely meal and I’ll go again

Visited yesterday for the first time with my wife. Excellent service and food , we have booked to return in November. Sausage risotto was delicious and staff so friendly.

My favourite place to eat out. Food is always cooked perfectly and well presented along with lovely staff always makes every visit memorable. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, very friendly staff and great food. If you love Italian food then this is a must visit. Colosseo has now become our favourite restaurant and have enjoyed several visits now. Fabulous birthday lunch. My wife and our friend's birthday. We all ordered from 2 course special lunch time menu . Really good choices of dishes. My mussels in a very tasty tomato and garlic sauce and a main of a thick Hake fillet in tomato and olive sauce with rocket salad was to die for. Very pleasant decor and attentive young staff. Sorry no photos, too busy chatting.

For Bridgend is perfect, but food isn't real taste of Italian food like in Italy.

We never fail to have a lovely meal here, and the staff are always respectful and calm. It was my birthday and we had a little impromptu evening meal - three steaks and the sea bass - with all the food coming hot and delicious. Reasonably priced and very tasty wine (Montepulciano), and as a surprise, the staff presented me with a free banofee pie AND four shots of limoncello. Can't fault their food or service, a great bunch of people too.

3rd (maybe 4th) time here... again, delicious food, great staff. Thanks for a great evening. First time here. Fantastic food, nice atmosphere, excellent service, family feel... highly recommended.

Ordered a pizza here recently and it wasn't too bad, good portion size but pizza needed a little seasoning. Perhaps some basil? Not the worst but not the best either.

We came on Saturday the 9th of march at 5:30, for our Mother’s Day meal, first off the waiter made us feel special by giving the 2 women a flower for international woman’s day and Mother’s Day, from there we had lovely food and service, not one complain from any of us, staff, food, drinks, all of it was on point! We will definitely recommend to friends and family and go again ourselves, we had a one year old girl that cried and we didn’t feel uncomfortable in the situation! The whole experience was amazing and we all enjoyed all of it! Well done to all the staff, couldn’t have been nicer people ❤️

We had a lovely intimate meal here and because it is a small restaurant it was relaxed. The food itself was tasty and the portions were generous. The interior is well presented and the staff were pleasant enough leaving us to our own devices

Bit noisy. I wanted a quiet meal with the wife. Still its a nice place. Warm, comfortable. The service was great, waiters kept coming past and removing empty bottles and bringing new ones. Food was lovely too.

I've been to this restaurant a few times in the last year and each time the food and service has been excellent.

Chicken was dry, roast potatoes tasted like they had been re-heated. Not a good experience, will not return.

Great indoor decor and selection of drinks and alcohol. All prices are reasonable and food comes out presented well and immaculate. Sometimes, portions can be inconsistent but otherwise a great all round Italian. Recommend the seafood.

Waited well over an hour for our food to arrive. Then my food didn't arrive, it hadn't been cooked. The waiter tried getting me to have a meal that was cooked for someone else, that didn't arrive, over 10 mins before! When my food finally arrived, it was basic. Was really disappointed, as was really looking forward to it.

Yeah I like this place, I love the lemon cheese cake, nice and fluffy and light well worth the visit.

Slightly disappointing visit after an absence of some time. Their slightly eclectic Sunday Lunch was very disappointing, reflected in the fact there were very few tables occupied thus leaving the whole experience rather flat. Will return if more positive reviews become apparent.

What a shame - I had the worst carbonara I've ever had and my girlfriend had a very average baked pasta dish, both of which were garnished with some random sticks poking out of the top, mine with a couple of random lines of balsamic drizzle and what appeared to be spots of tomato sauce.. Very bizarre! If they focused on actually cooking a decent dish instead of pointless garnish they might be able to execute the basics of Italian cooking! I complained (something I rarely do) and they took 20% off my dish, which I tried to pick the pasta out with whilst avoiding the grease, but frankly I don't think I should have paid anything for it (see picture!). The service was nice enough, the wine menu seemed to offer a good range and the place was quite nice inside. But it wasn't worth the time and effort to visit as the food was rubbish - we will avoid in future. Also, the prices listed online don't match the prices in the restaurant which annoyed me.

Service was slow even when my family were the only diners at the time. Ordered calamari was over cooked, very rubbery. Had a crab pasta, not much crab. Everything over priced. Better places out there. Added a picture, do you see any crab?

Glass shard fully sticking out of wall in ladies toilet tonight...told front of house ...found it it's been sticking out since 6.15.. wife noticed it 7.30. Could have been bad ...wife got her dress on it lucky not her arm

Made to feel quite unwelcome when trying to make a last minute booking on a Sunday night - staff made it clear that shutting the restaurant (ahead of the scheduled closing time) was their priority so we decided to go somewhere else instead.

We had food there last night as part of a family birthday celebration. Great food snd service. Bill was £155 for 5 of us, which included 2 bottles of wine and 3 of us had coffee. We all had 3 courses. So I think that's a good price for 5 of us as the the food and service was excellent...... I would definitely recommend 👌 👍
