Amazing food, great service in a comfortable and convivial space, highly recommend.

Ordered a pizza here recently and it wasn't too bad, good portion size but pizza needed a little seasoning. Perhaps some basil? Not the worst but not the best either.

Would 1000% recommend to anyone to go here, could not fault it at all. Best experience, food and staff. Is a proper Italian restaurant.

We came on Saturday the 9th of march at 5:30, for our Mother’s Day meal, first off the waiter made us feel special by giving the 2 women a flower for international woman’s day and Mother’s Day, from there we had lovely food and service, not one complain from any of us, staff, food, drinks, all of it was on point! We will definitely recommend to friends and family and go again ourselves, we had a one year old girl that cried and we didn’t feel uncomfortable in the situation! The whole experience was amazing and we all enjoyed all of it! Well done to all the staff, couldn’t have been nicer people ❤️

We had a lovely intimate meal here and because it is a small restaurant it was relaxed. The food itself was tasty and the portions were generous. The interior is well presented and the staff were pleasant enough leaving us to our own devices

Bit noisy. I wanted a quiet meal with the wife. Still its a nice place. Warm, comfortable. The service was great, waiters kept coming past and removing empty bottles and bringing new ones. Food was lovely too.

I've been to this restaurant a few times in the last year and each time the food and service has been excellent.

Chicken was dry, roast potatoes tasted like they had been re-heated. Not a good experience, will not return.

Food is beautifully presented, tastes great and so is the service.

Great indoor decor and selection of drinks and alcohol. All prices are reasonable and food comes out presented well and immaculate. Sometimes, portions can be inconsistent but otherwise a great all round Italian. Recommend the seafood.

Waited well over an hour for our food to arrive. Then my food didn't arrive, it hadn't been cooked. The waiter tried getting me to have a meal that was cooked for someone else, that didn't arrive, over 10 mins before! When my food finally arrived, it was basic. Was really disappointed, as was really looking forward to it.

Yeah I like this place, I love the lemon cheese cake, nice and fluffy and light well worth the visit.

Slightly disappointing visit after an absence of some time. Their slightly eclectic Sunday Lunch was very disappointing, reflected in the fact there were very few tables occupied thus leaving the whole experience rather flat. Will return if more positive reviews become apparent.

What a shame - I had the worst carbonara I've ever had and my girlfriend had a very average baked pasta dish, both of which were garnished with some random sticks poking out of the top, mine with a couple of random lines of balsamic drizzle and what appeared to be spots of tomato sauce.. Very bizarre! If they focused on actually cooking a decent dish instead of pointless garnish they might be able to execute the basics of Italian cooking! I complained (something I rarely do) and they took 20% off my dish, which I tried to pick the pasta out with whilst avoiding the grease, but frankly I don't think I should have paid anything for it (see picture!). The service was nice enough, the wine menu seemed to offer a good range and the place was quite nice inside. But it wasn't worth the time and effort to visit as the food was rubbish - we will avoid in future. Also, the prices listed online don't match the prices in the restaurant which annoyed me.

Lovely little italian restaurant with fab food & great service.

Service was slow even when my family were the only diners at the time. Ordered calamari was over cooked, very rubbery. Had a crab pasta, not much crab. Everything over priced. Better places out there. Added a picture, do you see any crab?

Glass shard fully sticking out of wall in ladies toilet tonight...told front of house ...found it it's been sticking out since 6.15.. wife noticed it 7.30. Could have been bad ...wife got her dress on it lucky not her arm

Lovely chilled atmosphere. Beautiful meal, and fabulous service. The pudding in the picture was vanilla icecream with a Lemoncello shot which I poured over the iceream...it was sooo good!! Definitely worth a visit ☺️

Under-seasoned, rather bland food. Friendly but rushed service, and next to no atmosphere, tucked away around the corner from the almost empty main part of the restaurant.

Made to feel quite unwelcome when trying to make a last minute booking on a Sunday night - staff made it clear that shutting the restaurant (ahead of the scheduled closing time) was their priority so we decided to go somewhere else instead.

We had food there last night as part of a family birthday celebration. Great food snd service. Bill was £155 for 5 of us, which included 2 bottles of wine and 3 of us had coffee. We all had 3 courses. So I think that's a good price for 5 of us as the the food and service was excellent...... I would definitely recommend 👌 👍

Called here on way home from Ogmore, they accommodated us with no problem. Service was relaxed, attentive, professional & friendly. Such lovely comfortable chairs, cosy & lovely deco. Food was amazing, fresh and cooked to perfection. Lovely wine menu and my choice suited me perfectly. Best Italian I have had in a very long time and so reasonably priced. We love good food & I can be quite hard to please. Everything was perfect!!!! We will have to travel a little way but will definitely be coming back very soon. Highly recommend!!! If I could give 10* I would. Thank you so much we really enjoyed. 😃

A true suprise for Bridgend town centre. A real Italian family run restaurant. A wonderful discovery in what used to be a ghost town for gastronomic enthusiasts. We WILL be back

Went to colleseo last night for the first time and will definitely be going again. Being a vegetarian I sometimes find it hard to find a variety of choice on the menu at a restaurant however colesseo were amazing. Best pasta I have ever eaten.

Lovely place and good food. However, it was evident they wanted to close early. If they had said that at the time of booking it wouldn't have been a problem. Nice meeting up with friends but the night was spoilt as we were made to feel uncomfortable.

Lovely setting delicious food great service staff most helpful.

Food was less than mediocre, scallops were tiny , overcooked and dry and not enjoyable’ the main of chicken and mushrooms- also over cooked chicken. , no flavour & the roast potatoes were undercooked. service initially when first arriving was friendly from the waiter, but become hurried and we were rushed to leave. Couldn’t sit and relax as they were clearing and setting up table for next guests before we had even finished our drinks. After asking for the bill we were very rushed and approached at lest 4 times to settle up. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back. Such a shame as a lovely decorated restaurant- but all looks and no substance .
