Marble Steakhouse in Bridgend

Outstanding food & service, highly recommend this to anyone, better than miller and carter and better than pasture! Can’t wait to return!

We booked a table a few weeks in advance for a Wednesday arrived a little early to lovely staff greeting. Popped onto a small table which was extremely small by time food arrived. Served quickly fresh water brought over and we ordered the Chateaubriand offer that was available 500g, 2 sides, 2 drinks £50. Ordered an extra bottle of red wine as well. Our nice hot plates were popped in front of us after 10 minutes but had a further wait of 20minutes so plates cold not sure why they brought them out so early 🤦🏽‍♀️ food was so lovely though hot and tasty really enjoyed it. Staff were ok 1 young girl was very busy the other 2 not so much they were all equally pleasant though. We only had coffee for afters and enjoyed that and the food really was lovely

Disappointed as we could not order what we wanted on the menu, ended up having a meal £10 extra as limited menu on a Sunday,

Excellent food and service at a decent price. Starter, main course and wine all great. Lovely atmosphere and great to see a full restaurant.

Perfect for a date night. Beautiful steak and reasonably priced. We had the tomahawk steak sharer and it was just right for us

Really enjoyed a family dinner at Marble last night. Delicious, tender & tasty steaks had by all. I had the ribeye with the blue cheese sauce, so nice! Great choice of side dishes & good portion sizes to share. Starters fab too. Only one dessert shared as we were so full! Great atmosphere, great service. Thoroughly recommend.

First visit last night…. delicious food. Had the fillet of steak…. perfectly cooked with peppercorn sauce and tried most of the side dishes 😁. All really tasty. The £20 bottle of white wine was also lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxing. Will definitely return 👍

Visited tonight. The steak was great, the service was excellent, but that’s where it ends. Had lemon posset for dessert, how can you have such a good main but a bloody awful posset. It was a solid mass of grainy lemon flavoured something. Really not good. My advice would be enjoy the steak but avoid the posset.

What a fantastic meal. We went on a Thursday afternoon and had the special. The steak was perfectly cooked we had chips and dauphinois potatoes and a pepper corn sauce. The meal also came with a drink of choice so we had the Prosecco. We both really enjoyed the meal and will be returning. Well recommend it!

We had heard good things about Marble, we went for dinner as a family and were not disappointed. Having eventually mastered Bridgend's impossible parking facilities, one way systems and bus-only roads, we were met by friendly staff who showed us to a very pleasant table. A selection of starters - calamari (very good), sticky beef (nice and spicy) and ox cheek - followed by a chateaubriand and two ribeyes. We had three portions of chips and one broccoli between four, and it was more than enough. All cooked as requested, tasty pepper sauce, and the béarnaise wasn't too buttery. It's not cheap, but that's par for the course for higher end steakhouses. Would definitely come back.

The service is great here and they are very friendly. The food was very average and not worth the price. To start we had the pulled pork croquittes and they were dry and had no taste to them, we also had the goats cheese croquittes which were lovely but not worth the price. I had the chicken which was ok, not excellent and the mushroom sauce was just water basically and my partner had the lamb cutlets which he said was nice. The drinks are well over priced and wouldn't pay that again. Overall this was average and won't be returning

Awful service food and prices. We came here th8nking it would be like pastures in cardiff what a massive disappointment. Small portions cold rubbery steak. Ordered 3 rare it came well done. Sent it back by the time the steak arrived the rest of the family had finished and our sides were cold. Young staff just standing around chatting. No one asked if our meal was ok. It was my birthday nothing was said but they sang for someone on another table and gave them a dessert with a candle. £250 5 people no drinks 1 starter and a side dish with steak Ripped off

I got a warm and friendly welcoming by staff when arrived. Decor in the restaurant is very pretty & cosy with the candles. Lots to choose from drinks & food wise. For food we chose the chataubrand sharing steak - with the sharing steaks you have a choice of weight you want. Included in the price of the chataubrand we had a choice of 2 sides and 2 sauces - For sides we picked the triple cooked chips, these were to die for, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside , for the other side we picked mac and cheese , this was one of the best I’ve had, not too strong but very creamy and the crispy onions added to it. The sauces we picked peppercorn and this was perfect. Steak was cooked to perfection - medium rare for reference & was seasoned well. Also had a bottle of wine with the meal and over all it came to about £70-80. Will definitely be returning

Absolutely stunning meal and super friendly and helpful staff. The Sunday lunch meal to share was ample for 2, so tasty and cooked perfectly I would highly recommend to friend and family.
