We are not vegan or indeed vegetarian but would rate the food in this restaurant as the very best we have every experienced. The food is of an outstanding quality, intricate, delicate and put together with love. I cannot praise the food highly enough. The manager is attentive, informed and great fun. We love this restaurant. I can't believe they can put together such a meal at this price.
A hidden little Gem which offers a good range of dishes including their own specialities. We all had dishes from the chefs recommendations and every one was delicious. Will definitely return, only downside you get a separate bill for drinks?? service was excellent.
Steak was divine, served by attentive, friendly staff, veg and potato cooked how I like them and dessert of the day !! I could have had cream, custard or ice cream with my crumble or all 3 ! I used my self discipline and had just cream 😂😂 absolutely fabulous 👌
The food, hospitality and drink were excellent! I had soup and garlic bread, all delicious. My wife had mushroom en croute and vegetables, which was similarly tasty. Recommend it heavily, cool posters too!!
What a super evening ! The food was delicious (I'm in love with the cassoulet which came with my cod loin)& the service from the friendly staff was spot on.A lovely ending to our few days spent in the village before the December madness.Fabulous.
Brilliant little café. Best chips in North Wales. Very dog friendly. Great vegan options. Went with 4 friends and r dogs, nothing was too much trouble.
This wholesome little cafe is our favourite spot to eat after a long walk out in the countryside. The owners are so friendly and make us feel very welcome every time! The food is lovely and always hits the spot (especially the chips!) The cafe itself is right in the centre of Mold and only a short drive away from the picturesque Moel Famau and today we drove from Alyn Waters in Gwersyllt which only took around 15/20 minutes too. Plenty of parking around. 100% recommend a visit here!
Thanks again both, we will see you again soon!

We visited cafe after our walk back from the Aber Falls this morning. Really nice cafe! Food is high quality and well presented! Great hospitality. We had the mini breakfast, mushroom and sausage omelette with baked beans, scrambled egg on toast, coffees and hot chocolate. All delicious! Would definitely recommend. Will be visiting again!

We WILL be returning VERY soon,
We had the most amazing afternoon tea served and made by our incredible host who runs the tea room and shop with his lovely wife.
It was delicious, excellent value and just so perfect. The room was decorated beautifully and we had such a lovely time.
I would travel miles back to this fantastic afternoon tea. Make sure to book ahead in order to have their freshly prepared treats!
The cafe staff happily accommodated our family group of 8 adults for a lunch. They kindly reserved a table for us so that we were guaranteed a space after our morning walk.
The menu included all day breakfast which several of us ordered. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, hot and fresh. There was a specials board and those meals were very good too.
The cafe environment was clean, comfortable and airy. The cafe was attached to and part of the village community centre. We felt we were made very welcome and were happy to know that we were supporting the community centre. All in all a lovely experience.
Booked a table for a late Sunday lunch after a long walk up the hills.
The staff were really friendly, the home cooked food was delicious, and they’re dog friendly too.
The roast beef was served with a few extra touches (alongside the usual roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables) that made it a great dinner plate - sweet and unctuous red cabbage, homemade Yorkshire pudding that was both crispy on the top and soft and chewy on the bottom, a piece of roast swede that was both sweet and earthy, some roasted carrots with deep carrot flavour, all sitting on top of a plate dressing of sweet potato purée, topped with a thick, savoury gravy.
Managed to save some space for a sticky toffee pudding which was again really really good - soft, unctuous, gently spiced, loaded with gooey date flavour and texture.
Highly recommended :)
