The best restaurants in Isle of Anglesey North Wales

Bought some chips and they were extremely underwhelming. No flavour, most bland chips I’ve tasted considering I asked for a good amount of salt & vinegar to receive the chips with nothing at all. Not worth the money considering it was quite spenny for plain dry potatoes

The fish and chips here are quite good, although not the best that you can find on Anglesey. The prices are fair and typical of most other fish and chip shops

Found this lovely takeaway by chance. The food was excellent and piping hot. Really good value for money. They even gave us prawn crackers. More than happy to recommend.

Great atmosphere However needs better service Rude staff

After reading the reviews I was a bit worried but I’m happy to report the accommodation was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on that part.

Awful, Awful, avoid at all cost, went in and nobody was in there, that should have set alarm bells ringing, but we were hungry, so decided to stay, I asked if they had red wine, the lady behind the bar said I’ll check as we were waiting a delivery, she came back with a bottle which I recognised from Aldi, Grapevine Merlot, £4.19 at Aldi, they charged £18, they removed the label at the back of the bottle. I ordered a 12oz Gammon steak, with chips and peas, tbh, the gammon was that thin it would have blown off my plate if sat outside, think that was from Aldi too. Lesson learned !!!

KEEP CLEAR. Very disappointed indeed. Chop suey roll tasteless had hardly no meat and not one prawn in sight. Chips as if they had been re cooked. Curry like jelly. Other two meal as in sweet and sour Hong Kong tastless and carrots uncooked. Chomein had no taste. The only thing that pleased us was the prawn crackers. Pot noodle would have been more appetising. Lucky house from now on.

Found iwan to be a very friendly chap, I'm Welsh speaking my husband isn't. He treated us both equally. Gave us great advice about llangefni, we certainly were made to feel very welcome before I spoke to him I'm Welsh

We ordered take away for delivery to Rhosneigr while we were on holiday. We ordered online in advance. We were surprised they'd come that far but the website accepted the address. Sure enough they arrived on time and the food was excellent. Will definitely order again when we return.

My brother in law George loved it here. Had a few visits lol whilst on holiday for a week just up the road. Enjoyed Sid’s company

I stayed here as u had a meeting early the next morning. The fires were roaring in the bar and the staff were so helpful and friendly and really couldn't do enough. The bed was so comfy I didn't want to get up! Breakfast was provided, it was piping hot and totally scrumptious. I cant wait to visit again. The locals in the bar were also super friendly and inclusive. Thank you so much for my lovely stay.

Ordered online, went to collect at allocated time, waited over an hour with still no food.. decided to cancel due to them saying it would be another 30 mins wait.. they took the money online and said it would be refunded and we have still not received payment back.. absolutely ridiculous after numerous telephone calls..

Awful chips. They were reheated after last night. Very expensive too. Ate four chips then has to bin them. The lady behind the counter was pleasant.
