The best restaurants in North Wales

Great campsite set in what has to be one of the most beautiful spots in the country. Good facilities and friendly staff.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were lovely. Food was good and more than I expected 😀. Neither my wife nor I could finish our meals.

Ordered a delivery on just eat, 1 hour wait time at first. This then updates after an hour wait to say order is delayed for another 30 minutes. 30 minutes later the order was cancelled by the restaurant. 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting for them to just cancel. I'm guessing the delivery was cancelled as we are on a caravan site. However, don't accept the order and make us wait an hour and 30 minutes to just cancel it!! Awful service from this place. Won't be ordering or visiting the restaurant again.

Had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. We had curry of the day plus pie of the day, both of which were really good. Generous portions and really tasty. Service was excellent too. Would definitely visit again if in Porthmadog.

Restaurant located in village of Hendrerwydd, near Ruthin in North Wales. On site parking. Traditional country style decor throughout bar and restaurant. Fantastic quality menu and wine list for a quiet rural location and excellent quality food. Welcoming and friendly service, well worth a trip out to enjoy a great meal (lunch or dinner), highly recommended.

Excellent eatery - chose the Thai fish cakes which were so delicious and gluten free ( also the chips ) fabulous gin and tonic mix made by the owner - great moose beer too wonderful place - nice atmosphere- a good understanding of dietary requirements - friendly

There is no longer food being served at the pub. Lively lovable local pub. Friendly and centre of the village. Lovely staff 👌 ❤️

If you fancy a real Chippy Tea, this is the place to eat. Had around five orders from here now, all were 5 Star. I am writing this because the owner personally delivered my last order in around ten minutes due to lack of drivers on the app I used. Wonderful husband and wife team and the food is top quality. Thanks so much.

Great insight into Welsh history

Very limited parking. Very out dated coffee is awful. Some staff have an attitude problem.

Pretty much dire. Brown toast and marmalade was served soggy and ready buttered I would say with margarine, definitely wasn’t butter. Marmalade was nice and home made from the Welsh Lady Jams company. Scrambled eggs were weird. Really weird. Palest barely yellow colour , bland and cooked in the microwave. Toast again was soggy, pre buttered and under toasted. Tea was ok. Coffee was Americano because when I asked for flat white and I asked if it would be a small cup and nice and strong the lady said no it was made with mostly milk. 👎 We won’t return.
