Nice little cafe very helpful staff

Loved the focaccia. Absolutely lovely brunch or breakfast spot

We visited at lunchtime and were greeted with a warm welcome and a very hot coffee. We shared a pinsa which was very nice and authentic. The cakes looked delicious however we didn’t try them but will certainly be back.

Been here many times now and it is a reasons in itself to visit Wales let alone Anglesea (the trip for us takes about 7 to 8 hours). Love all of the food. Pizza scissors have are great and now have a set at home. Been here for standard meals and birthdays and always treated well.

Stumbled upon this cafe after a lovely walk. What a find!!!!! The staff were lovely and friendly, as were both the owners. We were so lucky as the day’s special was a very traditional homemade Italian minestrone soup served with garlic bread! Wow!! A thick, hearty, hot bowl of veggie goodness, topped with grated Parmesan cheese. Possibly the best soup we’ve ever had! Coffee was fabulous too. Can’t wait to come back and sample the rest of the menu. It will definitely be a regular for us.

The best food around!! The service was top notch. This guy called Oliver served me and the friendliness and knowledge he had of all the food and cakes helped made the whole experience at plus 39, absolutely incredible. Would definitely recommend best service anywhere and awesome food. Oli was the loveliest most welcoming staff member I have ever come across and the food met this standard not to mention amazing wine! Best place on the island if looking for an awesome atmosphere amazing staff and the best food please come here!!!!!

Omg, the bruschetta!🍅 Full disclosure -I haven't stopped talking about the bruschetta here for almost a year. ☺️ I mean, it's so epic, you can order a half or full metre! Full, sliced beef tomatoes with garlic, basil and olive oil. (Phone won't let me post pics) You can get other toppings, but why would you?! So, of course when we visited North Wales again this week, we had to return to Plus39. I may or may not have purposely booked accommodation 10 min away.☺️ We had takeaway this time, and it was wonderful . Their pizzas are unique, also, and very tasty with fresh, plentiful toppings at a reasonable price. Our only disappointment was the Curly Wurly cake, which looked gorgeous but was very dry 😔

Absolutely love this cafe! My hubby and I often visit Anglesey and this restaurant is our no. 1 go to place to eat on the island. The tuna salad is my favourite dish, it’s the nicest I’ve ever had anywhere. The pizza’s, bruschettas and focaccia are all handmade on the premises and are delicious. The place itself has a nice vibe to it, the staff are all very friendly and they welcome dogs which is a bonus. The cakes are a must too!

Authentic Italian pizzas, very good service and staff. Creamy cappuccino and great cakes too! We went to this place after our South Stack lighthouse visit for dinner and the pizzas definitely lived up the hype. We ordered a Romana and Quattro Formaggi and were served these with a pizza scissor and some garlic and chilli oil to top it up. Both husband and I enjoyed these- were more than full on our way back. Must visit if near Menai Bridge. I also liked the extra large monstera plant :)

Best expresso in uk according to my italian companion from Venice who says we have no idea normally how do make an expresso. Cakes are scrummy and the pizzas to die for.

We had dinner here on Saturday night. The service was great, the food was amazing and the wine good too. One of the best places to eat in Menai.

Found this place by chance. Warm , friendly atmosphere. The choice of cakes & snacks looked amazing although we only had coffee. The young guy who served us was polite & friendly . Even apologizing for the short wait .

My wife and I had called in to Menai Bridge for lunch. Our chosen restaurant had stopped serving lunch at 2pm. Disappointed we were walking back toward the high street and saw how busy 39+ was. Popping in we were immediately shown to a table. Our drinks orders were taken shortly after being seated. One of the staff member was having their lunch break & their Pizza looked absolutely divine. Asking what it was we ordered the same. I have to say the Pizzas were by far the best we have ever eaten. They were as delicious as they looked. The garlic drizzled over them just added an extra dimension. My wife got a doggy bag, we had more drinks ordered takeaway cakes, which were to die for. When paying, the second round of drinks had not been included in the bill. I reminded them to add, which obviously pleased the staff. A truly wonderful find that we will return to on our next visit to Anglesey… Great service and amazing food…

We stumbled on this place when looking for somewhere for lunch. We have a variety of filled focaccia’s. I had the roast vegetables and hummus, which was delicious. Their coffee is excellent too. The staff are friendly and service good. Would recommend this cafe.

The food here was lush. I had the mediterranean Salad, which was just lovely - filling and refreshing all at the same time. My son had one of the bruschetta dishes, which again was super tasty. Quick friendly service, and great food - what's not to love! :)

Another super meal eating at this fabulous little restaurant. All 5 enjoyed every bite of our delicious pizza’s . The pizza bases are really tasty, doughy and delicious and a truly good tomato sauce and all toppings. Even my vegan daughter was pleased to have the option of vegan cheese! Highly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Popped in for a light lunch - my salad and coffee were both good, my wife's bruschetta similarly so. Cakes looked fabulous, unfortunately we didn't have the time.

Brilliant casual dining with fantastic staff. The mixed starters and bruschetta are excellent and the Pinsas are really good. We went as a group of 4 and shared everything so got to taste it all which I would recommend. Just a shame we didn't leave space for Sweet course! Decor is a little spartan and can be noisy(we had a very loud table behind us) but the food and hospitality is the main event.

Excellent relaxed service, lovely ham and mushroom Pinse and tuna Bruschetta, made extra special with house chilli and garlic oils. Easy to grab an off peak table but pre-book when the tourists are in town :-)

I like going to plus 39 occasionally it is one of my favourite places in Menai Bridge area but I have not been to the cafe in a while, today I decided to take my wife for her first time and I sort of built up her expectations about the place and especially the coffee. We ordered 2 flat whites and we sat inside , my wife admired the decoration and was looking forward to taste one of the best coffees in north Wales but we were both surprised that the coffee had too much milk and was not present well as expected from previous experience. My wife approached the barista who tried to convince her that this is how flat white supposed to be instead of trying to take criticism constructively . so she said thanks and we paid for the coffee and left with a bitter taste in our mouths. I tried to convince myself and my wife that the coffee was better and could have been the person who made it this time was not that good but it has been a while since I have had coffee here so maybe I have nostalgic memories about the place. I would still come to the place for the food and coffee but maybe not from the person who made it today .

Our first visit and what a hidden gem! We had fabulous authentic Italian food, a lovely bottle of red from Puglia and all served in such a genuinely friendly way by the son of the owners. This is very much a family run business and it really shows. We will definitely be visiting again and next time will try the homemade tiramisu!

We came here for lunch, from the outside it didn't seem like we would be getting much but it actually served really good quality food for a reasonable price. Can definitely recommend this place.

Had planned to dine in but not feeling too well, we ordered a takeaway. Excellent service and the pinsa (pizza) was totally delicious. Really generous portion with loads of toppings. The base was a delicious mix of light dough with a crispy outer. One of the best that we have had in ages. Will definitely go back. Know they only use the best quality ingredients and it certainly shows. I know they have an excellent wine list so will very booking a table as soon as we are both better. Highly recommend. Lovely friendly service as welcome.

Have to mark down the food slightly. Had the chocolate mousse cake which did not have a great texture (more jelly than mousse). Which was a shame because the cafe was well appointed and the coffee was good. Service was friendly, although a little unclear whether customers should approach the till or wait to be served.

We dropped in for a late lunch and were delighted by the flavors of the tuna bruschetta with olive pesto and the ham and cheese focaccia. The dishes, though simple, were generously topped, accompanied by attentive and friendly service. Regrettably, we only had room to share a slice of the pistachio cake, which was truly divine. A visit to this establishment is highly recommended for a delightful experience.

Popped in here after a lack lustre experience in Dylan’s. We were met with by an attentive and friendly waitress who showed us to their last free table. They took our order promptly, were attentive to our additional requests and the food arrived promptly too! Delicious and so glad we chose this little local gem. Views it might not have but genuine customer service and delicious food it has in abundance! Perfect for a casual family lunch.

This was our 5th visit to +39. You can’t beat the fresh and tasty focacce sandwiches On a lunchtime. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It is well worth a visit.

Took the car for a service and while I was waiting walked the dog to Menai Bridge and found this gem which was open when most others weren't... Very good quality of food with some creative and interesting options and good selection of sweet and savory, Nicely decorated cafe too making good use of the space. Staff were also friendly. They allow well behaved dogs and take card payment. Absolutely excellent visit. 100% recommend this as the best cafe in Menai Bridge. Two very minor issues, Had to ask for more milk with my coffee as the milk provided was in a very small pouring jug. I would improve is the toilet which was clean and functional (no issues at all) but having been to a few cafes where the decor and care/atmosphere has been there too it would be something I would do if I were them.

Really friendly service despite them being busy they were still quick and not stressed :) the pinsa dough is so light and crispy!!! Definitely recommend the Gorgonzola and walnut one - it’s amazing!the photo is of a cool Sardinian crispy flat bread!

Chef could be more polite in communication with guests... Everything is very nice and delicious, but food is too expensive... (e.g. bruschetta in London, Kensington is 6.30) Also, knives aren't sharp enough to cut barely anything.. Hope you find this useful.

Wow! What a little gem of a restaurant we found in this place! Four of us ate here Friday night before attending a wedding in Menai on Saturday. Superb service and attention. Pleasant staff, cosy atmosphere. Food is artisan - proper handcrafted pizza at a reasonable price. Delicious 😋 We loved everything about it !

Great to find a spot where they care about the food quality ingredients, good coffee and a very special round of applause for having the decent newspapers and press selection provided free for punters to read - a great touch. Well done .

Do you know what i dont like leaving bad reviews but this is a must the woman is rude the cake we had was dry so i asked her for a new slice she slammed it on our table and left the pizza was fantastic though the prices were absolutely shocking too. Me and my wife dave will never be going back here again not with her attatude it stank dont think she is getting much in the bedroom put it that way! ho yeah and your coffee is rubbish xxx

*2nd visit* Very popular spot for good reason! We were lucky to get a table for two on a rainy Wednesday lunch time. Friendly service and once again, lovely food! Really great food! 🍕 Visited bank holiday Saturday as a family of 4 for lunch. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service.

If you're in the area you simply must visit this place! Great staff, beautiful and authentic pizzas done by their Italian chef plus a host of other treats! We were there for lunch and I wish we'd had time for an evening meal there too... Loved it.

Did a walk-in as not booked ,advisable if looking for gluten free pizza, as dough has to be made in advance. But to our great delight the young lady on the counter, said that it would be ok and managed to fit us in, thank you. We shared some nice cold salty olives with a crispy rosemary flatbread, very nice. My wife had a gluten free pizza, which she really enjoyed, good amount of toppings. I had the spicy Italian sausage, nice and spicy and very enjoyable, both washed down with local welsh beer and cider ( old crow cider really good) Overall a nice meal, great staff ( owner even gave me the recipe for gluten free👍), the place has a very nice vibe, will be back to try coffee and cake😀.

Great quality meal in a friendly cafe. Everything hit the spot and we enjoyed the flexibility of being able to order a variety of sides with the main course. I loved the goats cheese salad with avocado and a side of yummy mushrooms. The bread served with the salad was just the right amount and extremely tasty. The puds looked great and I don’t know how we managed to resist. There was a pleasingly eclectic mix of clientele including locals, tourists, cyclists and others.

I ordered a slice of cake with my beverage. The slice was dry and stale tasting. Beverage quality was average. I was deeply disturbed by the rude treatment of another patron by a woman who appeared to be a manager or owner. Would definitely not return or recommend considering the offensive behavior.

Fantastic! A very unassuming exterior hides an absolute gem. The avocado focacce and contadina pinse was some of the best food of this nature we’d had. Would definitely recommend.

This place was recommended by the local Air BNB I was staying in, & I ended up eating there every day! The food is simply out of this world, & great value. Every dish was freshly prepared & full of flavour. The team who worked there made me feel so welcome. Easy to park nearby, & best of all, the place is dog friendly. 🐕 Can't wait to visit again.

Well I’m somewhat glad I don’t live too close to Plus39 because otherwise I’d be in there every day! Dining in there feels like being on holiday. The food is really special, clearly made with a lot of care and love. Service is always friendly and attentive. Very reasonably priced as well, as the quality is SUBLIME!

Fabulous evening: delicious food and wine, relaxed atmosphere and lovely service. If you like pizza, you'll love the pinsa here. Pleasantly busy on a Friday night with a mix of families, couples and groups of friends. Some were clearly regulars, others first-time visitors like ourselves. Everyone was made welcome and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We stay on Anglesey regularly and our only regret is that we didn't give +39 a try earlier. We'll be back.

I wanted to eat in another restaurant but it was unexpectedly closed that day. Finally it’s a good thing because we had a really good meal at Plus39! :) The service is very friendly and welcoming. Food was great too. My focaccia was a bit small, but inexpensive, so no problem at all.

Cute little cafe / restaurant. Was recommended to visit here from a friend and was really impressed by the food. Family run cafe and pizzeria, you’re welcomed as soon as you walk in. Plenty of options for drinks, with a wide selection of local beers. Can’t fault anything about Plus39 and if I’m ever around this area again, would soon come back.

Amazing food the charcoal flour was very exciting the portions were perfect sized. The waitresses were super friendly and fun. We thought we had lost something on the way out and the staff bent over backwards to help us look for what we had lost. They even went through the bins again for us to be 100% sure. Amazing service amazing food we will definitely be back

Plus39 was recommended to us by a friend so we planned to go after a visit to Anglesey Sea Zoo. We looked at the menu shortly before leaving and very nearly cancelled because, as my partner said, "can you have an Italian place that doesn't do pasta?".. well yes, yes you absolutely can. The lunch menu is small but perfectly executed, the pinse was incredible and the oils were so full of flavour, with fresh ingredients, friendly staff and they catered to my milk allergy with no issues at all, I really have no complaints. Make sure you leave time and space for dessert too, the selection is amazing and so tasty!

Nice, clean cafe. Food was OK but the prices were absolutely shocking, having come up from London to visit North Wales I was appalled - nearly £10 for a small basic 'sandwich' and even more for a very small pizza (pinse). Would not visit again.

We were supposed to have a lunch at restaurant nearby but they weren’t serving food this day. So we found this one and decided to stop here instead. The service was excellent! The staff was efficient and friendly. The food was also very good although a bit light for me. I tried the smoked salmon and mascarpone bruschetta with salad. It was very good! I also shared a Victoria sponge cake with my husband and it was delicious too. Next time I visit I want to try their pizza. I will definitely come back again!

Well We went back for a 3rd year on a row on our dog holiday and as ever amazing service and food fantastic to be recognised and remembered this is what small business success is all about please visit its fantastic What can I say so easy to book on website accidentally sent a picture of myself on the beach to the lady who booked us in as a little freebie This is a fabulous place we had a traditional Italian meat selection with olives and focaccia which was the largest starter known to man with a local ale and it was a ten from Len. What followed was simply put the best pizza I have eaten bar none the service was as immaculate as the levels of cleanliness and I cannot recommend the whole experience enough. We also took 3 boxes of locally made cake home as well truly 5 out of 5

Little Italian gem in the beautiful town of Menai. I've been to Menai over the years and it keeps getting more pleasant each time I go. Plus39 has great coffee, amazing cakes and delicious Italian lunch. Focaccia are home made with the most delectable fillings. Staff are really friendly and dogs are allowed too. The cakes are amazing, who doesn't like chocolate orange millionaire shortbread or mars bar brownies. Can't wait to return.

The food and coffee are excellent. It's amazing how simple ingredients can taste so good, freshly baked pinsa with tomato, olive oil, oregano and garlic is absolutely delicious.

My wife and I had a fabulous PINSE. A lot of people get this wrong . It’s not Pizza. Totally different base. Followed by a fabulous , melt in the mouth Tiramisu and great coffee. Lovely friendly service. 5 star.

Worth a look inside this cafe that is a bit hidden. Delicious hand-made stuffed focaccia and other patries are a highlight.

Pizza was to die for. Honestly one of the best pizzas we have ever had everyone cleaned their plate which never usually happens. We came across this place by pure luck and so glad we did.
