We took a detour to here after seeing the reviews and were not dissapointed. The pizza was so tasty and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely make sure to stop off again in the future. We chose to sit in and service was great but also saw plenty of people with takeout which would be great if you're stopping close by.

A really friendly pub with a nice atmosphere and excellent mid range food. The menu was quite wide ranging and we both enjoyed the hot filled baguettes. Hand cut chips were a splendid option. The place was busy with mainly local customers enjoying a relaxed lunch or maybe they'd all breakfasted and were keeping the coffee going.

One of the best breakfasts we have had in ages. We have visited Knighton over the last 2 weeks viewing houses. The cafe is no frills from a decor perspective but is so welcoming and friendly with all meals cooked to order and really reasonably priced. Today was the bosses last day there, however it will be reopening in a couple of weeks under new management. I hope they donât change much as this place is a gem and hopefully a local for me in the near future.

I have literally just visited this cafe and while I appreciate it was busy I waited nearly 25 minutes for a toasted tea cake which was burnt to buggery and my friends had toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches which they chose to leave âŚ.. so basically a ÂŁ22.99 bill for very little. We shanât be back

We ordered a take away at 6.30pm and received it at 10pm. We had just arrived a holiday cottage. (Tesco had cancelled our food delivery at 6pm!!). We little other choice, everywhere was closed in the area. We had children including young toddlers with no food. (Snacks had run out during long journey!!) It was horrendous. We called to say that level of service was unacceptable. Why offer delivery and expect 3.5 hours to be a reasonable time to wait. They asked why we waited and not just cancelled and shouted at me down the phone. They had already taken our money and we literally had no other option but to wait. Completely spoiled our rare weekend away as a family.

Would not recommend at all! Food was sloppy and did not taste very nice. Location is not ideal not easy to access if you are picking up by car. Worst Chinese I have ever had!

My son, my partner and I travelled here from Brecon (roughly an hour and a quarter car journey.) This place attracted us with my partner being gluten and lactose intolerant and the entire menu was designed for people like her. We were greeted by a friendly barman and he pointed out to our table for the evening which also had enough room for our sonsâs pushchair. We were then served by a fantastic waitress I believe was called Rhian. Once food and drinks were ordered we had some time to have a look at the warm and comfortable restaurant. Our starters arrived which were meatballs & linguine- absolutely delicious. We then had a short wait for our mains which were lasagne and a burger which were equally delicious! Half through our mains my girlfriend became unwell (something she suffers with from time to time) and Rhian could not be more helpful and understanding. She very nicely packed away the rest of my partners dinner all separately. Rhian also made sure we still went away with a takeaway dessert, the chocolate brownie which is incredible. All of this being amazing I think the finishing touch was the fact that the landlady made an effort to go around and speak to every table eating that evening, a really lovely and sweet person! I fully recommend dining here with or without the intolerances would give 20/10 if I could.
