The best restaurants in Wales

This was the 3rd time I've been to this venue with the darts . I live in cwmbran and have been invited to their darts tournaments. I enjoy it there. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is top notch. I would recommend to my family and friends. See you soon for another great day

Stepping into No.1 The Esplanade Cafe felt like a breath of fresh sea air, even before the magnificent Large breakfast arrived. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. But let's talk about the star of the show: the large breakfast. Oh. My. Goodness. This wasn't just a meal; it was a perfectly orchestrated symphony of breakfast delights.

Metalheads should know this place. The listed building has seen many local bands, and everyone cuts thier teeth here. Tony, the residents psycho, is fantasic, the place has barely changed in 30 Years (probably more) and Nothing is on tap. The Self-Policing heavy metal community has a sense of chivalry that is lost in the wider community and everyone feels safe.

Great cafe, warm and welcoming staff. Good menu. Food cooked fresh to order and fairly sharpish and hot too. All the staff were attentive and took great pleasure in serving such nice food and drink

This pub doesn’t do food but the hospitality is second to none - Jean, the landlady, has served he customers for half a century. Highly recommended

Fabulous food, venue and team working - a great menu with a variety of options with a chef who will Cook what you want not just how it is in the menu - I was so reasonable and great atmosphere thank you

Such a great pub now always a good laugh whether your there having a drink with friends or with the family ...Staff are amazing, kids love the park and Food is amazing!

Sunday lunch - food always good but my nut roast today was absolutely perfec My granddaughters had beef which they enjoyed plus their cheesecake

Haven’t done food for 3 years .no sign out side looked closed sad as we had planned to eat in there as staying in village .

Love this place, food is always excellent as was the case this time also. Service is great too, the owner still works the floor. Last night did feel a little rushed but probably our fault for booking a table at 8 when closing time is now 10. 10 out of 10 again. Thank you Curros.

Placed a big breakfast order for the office with baguetty junction and couldn't be happier with the service and food! The whole thing was organised perfectly by the team at baguetty junction and the quality of the breakfast we had for the price we paid was phenomenal! Highly recommend and will be returning in future! J

I’ve knocked it in the past but had 2 very good curries this evening, Tikka Massala and a Bhuna.Naan bread was a little dry but still good.
