Cafe in Bridgend

I come here most Saturdays after parkrun. The best breakfast in Porthcawl and no silly rip off prices you'd usually associate with a seaside town. Friendly efficient service too.

Cheese with toast was lovely and I like the place, very comfy chairs. I asked for WIFI and they given me free access, no charge. Thank you.

We always have a breakfast when we go into Porthcawl. Quite partial to an omelette or a full breakfast. Food always good and friendly service.

Closed at the moment for renovation but have had some love snacks and drinks here.

A really delicious breakfast this morning! The omelette and egg benedict were outstanding. Really tasty food and good coffee. They have gluten free options and bread too. Extremely affordable.

I have enclosed some pictures I read on the internet it ls a having a multi million pound under grade bit the notice on the front said demolition so I'm not sure what's going on. I know it had a huge theatre and had some big names there also a lovely cafe overlooking the water very pretty if I find anything out il update this post well worth a visit for sure if they don't knock it down

Having been eating here since it first opened, I have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Will be coming back again when next in Porthcawl and looking forward to it. Lovely toasted cheese and onion sandwich today with a very nice mocha. 🙂🙂

Very small difficult to find place to sit down

Decent coffee on the seafront. Better priced than most.

We decided to visit as we fancied a coffee and cake but ended up having a hot chocolate and a milkshake instead. Good sized pieces of cake too. One wall has a feature saying they are the No 1 Rum and Gin Bar.

A lovely, friendly café in a great location just across the road from the waterfront. Outside seating adds to this very welcoming place.

A lot cleaner than some I could mention in Porthcawl! Very Friendly also. Food is good and well prepared. We use this one all the time now. Owner is a nice guy too! Maybe would suit us locals if it opened earlier though lol

Four of us popped in for breakfast, 2 of us had the large all day breakfast 1 had small and the other had eggs Benedict. Absolutely brilliant, we had no issues whatsoever and will certainly be visiting them again.

Mug of chocolate with my sister, carrot cake was nothing special though

Excellent service, food lovely.

First visited in August this year (2021). Staying in again in a pub B&B but having our breakfasts here. We were early yesterday but the owner/manager kindly made us cuppas, while we waited for him to get set up. We each lovely breakfasts (cheaper than our B&B) and coffee. Staff have been friendly and helpful on each of our visits.

The breakfast was disappointing, I asked to bring the coffee with the breakfast butt they didn't sausage tasted discussting beans were horrible plus they were well over price

Was photographing a sunrise today and decided to hang about till they opened for Breakfast. Started with a Coffee and that was pretty good (never a good sign if a place cant even do coffee). Breakfast was really good and i enjoyed the toast in particular (strange but true). Was crispy but melted in your mouth. Very good experience

I carelessly left my purse in the Loo yesterday and thankfully picked it up this morning so to celebrate had a bacon and mushroom bagel with a pot of earl grey tea and it was delicious.! Thank you No 1..

Popped in today for breakfast and a jacket potato. The prices are reasonable and the interior is very nice. My wife enjoyed her jacket potato... My regular breakfast is what I would call small. The toast and bacon were really nice unfortunately the sausage had about 10% meat content so was very disappointing. I would go back again but not for breakfast.

Popped in for a coffee and breakfast with my wife, and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely little cafe, clean, nice view watching the world go by, excellent breakfast. The black pudding was the best I have had in a while. A definite re visit will be made.
