Base Camp Cafe K2 in Bridgend

First visit! Beautiful warm welcome, advice on ingredients, tasty breakfast granola pot and the best cuppa tea! Took a prepared meal home for tea too. Will definitely return.

100% recommend K2 Basecamp Cafe. They have a great selection of coffee and shakes, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s also a good range of Athlete’s Kitchen food, along with a varied daily assortment of cookies and cakes.

Fantastic coffee, food and service. Also very good value for money compared to some of the more well known cafes.

Regularly use Base Camp for a coffee after the gym for years now, shocked to see just a handful of reviews as they que out the door all day everyday, they must have hundreds of customers daily. The selection of AK meals with both warm and cold food is endless and the naughty treats are hard to turn down. I go there mind for the coffee which is up there with the best around and always the most polite service from Hayley the manager.

Popped in for a breakfast as the photos on Google looked great but unfortunately they do not represent what was on offer. The customer service was up with the worst we've experienced by the lady serving. Food cross contamination was a big worry. I explained our issues and we left without eating. I heard her screeching "don't come back" as we were leaving. Out of the 13 reviews, these may be friends and / or staff as the reviews do not represent the offer.

Not good , warming up falafel wrap in microwave with bacon wrap - no idea about food contamination- and very rude

Amazing little coffee shop.. Situated in K2 gym grounds its ideal. Always fresh cakes and amazing coffee.Lots of food selection 😋 A***** Dog friendly
