The CodFather in Swansea

I've had food twice recently, unfortunately chips weren't cooked enough on both occasions. Will not rush back

Large cod and large chips, the best you will taste and eat and I take a lot of pleasing when it comes to food. Freshly cooked as you wait unlike some other chip shops I've previously visited and to add to the prestige of the Codfather Paul Potts is a customer a gentleman who wouldn't have second rate food going down his throat.

Super juicy and delicious Cod. Chips- outstanding. Size of my portion was massive. Highly recommended

If you are looking for value for money then look no further and the food is really good. Staff are always welcoming but they have missed a few items once or twice. Always happy to replace but a pain which is the only thing letting them down.

Beautiful fish, loved the chips too... not sure about Irish curry, but Chinese curry was lovely 😋, great size cod, batter crisp .. Best I've seen recently.

ordered irish ? chicken curry,chicken over cooked and saucewas over salted not spicy,stick to fish & chips i actually binned this effort.

Being Under new management I'd thought I'd give them a try. I will be returning! The fish was perfect with amazing value for money! Keep up the good work guys and see you soon 😊

Nice people and friendly service, but unfortunately the food wasn't really up to much on our visit. The cod was not too bad, but the chips were soggy, greasy and badly cooked. A shame - hopefully just an off day.

First time in shop since new owners , so disapointed called for some chips 10th may about 4.50pm . they were terrible , hard , stale and went straight in the bin ☹

I wish I could be more positive about this place as I was a huge fan of its predecessor that occupied the unit. There was something just off about the chips, not light and crispy as good chip shop chips I like. The curry sauce was tasty but really thin so it just ran off my chips and the onoin rings weren't out of a packet which was nice but there were very very oily. The service was great and inside looks good after the redecoration.
