The best restaurants in Wales

We went in as a family of 5 with a wheelchair (having to turned back from another pub which we couldn't get the chair in). We loved it from the moment we walked in - the SA flag on the wall did help, as the well as the Halloween decorations - madly busy but fantastic fun. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food, although a long wait , it was exceptionally fantastic - obviously made to order too! Look forward to returning, hopefully at Christmas.

Just a wonderful little oasis of calm tucked away behind the bustle of Newport city. Lovely, lovely friendly, warm people serving great home-cooked vegetarian meals inside what is a peaceful art gallery and picture framing business.

Great Pub and Campsite. Richard and Caroline with the locals made my stay warm and welcoming , even had a guitarist to entertain one evening. Although WiFi is only available in the pub and not on the campsite it is not a bad thing if you want to be back to nature. Recommend the food and the beer all locally sourced and cooked to perfection .

This is our 3rd time here since they have taken over and not a single complaint. The passion that’s taken over the cooking of the food and the homely feel of the service is next to none. The way the chef comes around to check in afterwards shows his commitment to good food. Good quality meat, cooked to perfection, served with fantastic manners and very affordable. Really amazing , delicious, homely food. We stopped there in our way back to West Yorkshire and we were so happy we did. It’s a place you should try.

The Wilton is exceptional. We had a room on the front overlooking the Pier, the room was comfortable and clean with complementary refreshments and good free WiFi. Ideal location for buses and the town. Good Breakfast selection and excellent food quality. The owners Jo and Paul are extremely helpful and friendly. We'll definitely stay again. Thankyou

Once again, this place has hit the mark. It's been a while since our last visit, and the quality of his fish is second to none. 5 star every day. I will highly recommend this brilliant chippy.

An excellent cafe, very welcoming, very nice people easy to talk to, great to get to know local news and people. Great choice of food, as usual I went for a nice breakfast to set me up for the rest of the day 👌 Very clean toilets Ramp on outside for wheelchair access Parking outside or one of the side streets

When I come to bagillt to see family we always choose this takeaway it's really great tasty food, good price and the owner and his family are lovely very kind and nice to talk. There are lots of places in flint etc for Chinese but hands down this is the best
