We came across this restaurant by accident while looking for a place to eat, and what a blessing it was. The food was 10/10, best curry I ever had. The two ladies that were working that night were super lovely and helpful. Absolute 5 stars out of 5, and if I could give more I would. Will 1000% be coming back when we’re in Glasgow again.

This place served some of the best food me and my partner have ever had. The ambience was incredible and the staff were wonderful and it was great to have a whole menu to choose from as a coeliac. The margaritas were also delicious and I could have drank many many more. I could not recommend this place enough it was worth every penny.

Good view to clubhouse , Ailsa craig and golf course and light house , from restaurant , Expensive place for food and drink . Food was reasonable. We got a good deal to stay there , but cost of drink and food makes up for cheaper accommodation in winter rates .

My husband and I visited here today and ordered a cup of spicy lentil soup and a sandwich cost £10 each. The food arrived and my cup of soup was only half full and my husband's 3/4 full.I took my soup back and was told you only get one ladle.I said it should be a cupful as stated but was told no.I went back to my seat but was livid as I hate to be ripped off.I asked for the manager and the guy on the till said I will give you more soup which he did.The soup was lovely and the sandwiches also good made with lovely bread. The guy came over to take the plates and said he was sorry he upset me and I said you didn't upset me and I had been annoyed at being done.He apologised and offered me a free lunch.I advised I am only here for the day.The next thing he was back with 2 sweets in a box with forks and napkins to eat later.I thanked him for the cakes. We had them with coffee later on and delicious. I don't know the guys name but you have restored my faith in humanity and the cafe.We will visit again and encourage others to do so also.Thank you for your understanding.

Highly recommend. Good simple fare but really this is a great hal day activity. We drove about 10 minutes south of Oban for the ferry. I think there may also be a bus. In summer the ferry goes whenever it's full so nearly every 15 min. It takes 5 minutes to cross and honestly it took longer e purchase the tkts via app. The walk to the tea house is about an hour. Very hilly but paved or packed gravel. Castle an additional 20 min walk. Tea house has indoor and outdoor picnic tables. Bathroom. Cakes definitely worth the walk. We got in kinda late like 2 and many foods sold out. Soup and crusty roll was awesome

Disappointed with our lunch and even more disappointed by the staffs reaction to our complaint. They didn't care at all and charged us in full. Gluten free bread fell apart and no coleslaw or salad even though it was on the menu. Very disappointed.

What a unexpected gem. Passed it numerous times but the first time today we popped in. So pleased we did, super staff, lovely homemade light lunches, and fabulous cakes and scones on offer. Plus excellent local coffee to top it. Even bought a couple of Christmas presents too. I can certainly recommend (dog friendly too!). We'll definitely be popping in next time we're passing.

Visited just this evening with my husband and 2 sons. Firstly we where asked our drinks order as soon as we where in, but then we waited about 30 minutes to be asked our food order and that’s only after we asked the staff to come take the order. We ordered 4 mains and 2 starters, starters where lovely but the mains where awful, the steak pie was full of fat and the homemade chips where over cooked, the Cajun pasta all you could taste was the Cajun powder, the lusset burger was pink all round the edges and when I said to the staff their excuse was that it’s red dye that’s added into the meat to make it look better! Never heard such a ridiculous excuse I mean instead of just apologising! Lastly the lasagne tasted like cheap meat and was more sauce and cheese than anything. Won’t be returning
