The best restaurants in Scotland

Been going to go-gos basically since they opened and I wouldn’t go to anywhere else for my donner meat!! It’s always so good and the staff are all amazing and very friendly and lovely they all like to have a good chat and joke! Would highly recommend! :)

The first time we’ve been to Hamilton Burgur Grill, and the service was great! Also the food was definitely very good. Every time I want a Burger I’m coming back here.

Popped in for lunch purely by chance and oh so glad we did. Food was amazing and service very friendly. Only negative was that it was rather cold but there was a fan heater placed by our table. This won’t put us off returning when next in Edinburgh. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was tranquil. Overall, I enjoyed the presentation and experience. 10 out of ten. The hostess were absolutely lovely.

En primer lugar, la chica rubia servía era absolutamente encantador y servicial. ¿Fue una mezcla como se le dijo a los bollos que se acaban de hacer y luego se le dijo que no estaban en el horno, sino que 2 se fueron del día anterior. Ya me había sentado ya que el lugar que había planeado encontrarme con mi amigo estaba cerrado y realmente quería un buen bollo. En contra de un mejor juicio, tenía un bollo que la chica amablemente dijo que calentaría. Mi amiga tenía huevos, aguacate y feta que se veía encantador y ella disfrutó. Mi bollo sin embargo sabía rancio y la margarina que sirvieron necesita ser la peor que he probado. ¡Por favor, no sirva los bollos de ayer como consumidor pagando el precio completo! Debido a esto no volvería, lo cual es una pena, ya que es un entorno lo suficientemente agradable y servicial.

Made welcome . They had McEwans export on tap at a very reasonable price. Loved all the paintings of customers in the bar I will have to try their menu one day. Definitely go back for another visit. Harry

Stopped off en route to our campsite for takeaway pizza. Wish we’d had time to stay for a sit down meal as the garden has the most spectacular view over Talmine Bay. Pizza was crispy and freshly made.

This cozy little café is a true delight! The atmosphere is peaceful, and the scenery is absolutely Instagram-worthy. What truly makes this café stand out, though, is the warm and friendly staff. They make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing spot with heartwarming hospitality.

This Bistro is as good as it gets, there again last Saturday evening with friends and had an excellent dinner. Great starters of scallops & soup, lobster mains and one other main which escapes me, oh and managed a sweet, fabulous. A few drinks including a couple of bottles of wine, very. The sad news is, we were told it was closing permanently the following evening Sunday and it has, due to lack of business which is a terrible shame. We travelled all the way up from Laurencekirk picking up friends en-route as we have done in the past. It a shame an establishment like this have closed.

George always makes the best food and takes care of all the customers vey well!

Cada vez que visitamos Edimburgo siempre desayunamos / almorzamos en el número 7 (anteriormente Café Class). ¿Por qué? Simplemente, es el mejor desayuno vegano que hemos tomado y es muy consistente. Los precios son muy razonables y el servicio es muy amable y eficiente. Escribo esto el sábado 12 de abril por la noche y espero el desayuno de mañana. 5 minutos a pie por Lothian Road, ¡valdrá la pena caminar! : ) )

Cannot recommend this place more highly. Everything was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. The space is so cool. We’ll definitely be going back!
