Family-run Gelateria with some of the best tasting gelato I’ve had anywhere. Their fruit flavours are especially fresh and made with real fruit, not syrup. Their banana gelato is the food of the gods.

Coffee was excellent as were thier cakes. Steak pie,potatoes and peas were Amazing,all home cooked.

What a wonderful plaice! We stopped with tired, hungry kids after getting off ferry. Fantastic, polite, friendly staff, amazing pizzas. Kids loved it. I would defo recommend AJ’s place 😍. Vx

First time here and the food was excellent, the food was ordered and delivered quickly by the friendly staff who made us feel welcome, modern music played while we had dinner which was nice, the price was very good and well worth what we had. So an overall great experience and highly recommended.

Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.

One of the nicest restaurants not only in Scotland, but in the whole of Europe. Beautiful place, absolutely delicious food, and to top it off, wonderful service. Kudos
