Fabulous food & service, would definitely recommend

The best Italian in Hamilton by far. Asolutely Delicious food. The pesto & Gnocci pasta were fantastic. Highly recommend it. Well Worth A Visit. It's the Best Italian Restraunt in Scotland.

The food in this place is very delicious, the owner is a very nice man who knows all his guests and remembers well what they like. When it comes to service, the younger waitresses are very nice and smiling. I highly do not recommend the elderly waitress with glasses who does not follow hygiene rules when serving food, cutlery or anything to customers. She talks a lot, doesn't do much, and she can cough into her hands, touch her nose, snot, and serve food to customers... She very rarely offers customers something for dessert, she is rather indifferent whether there are customers or not... a tragedy! I highly, highly recommend the food! The waitress lady, no! Unless someone doesn't mind the way their food is served.

Antonio makes amazing food, would highly recommend the arancini and the sea bass, very nice house red wine, friendly service and a cozy family restaurant. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Fabulous food, friendly service and an amazing menu. The food was excellent. I had spaghetti with mussels and it was superb. The lunch menu is such a good deal, with big portions. Can't wait to return!

Had a lovely meal 2 months ago with ten friends…hoping to get a booking for tomorrow evening for myself and wife to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary….the place to be for a meal in Hamilton .

Me and my partner had 2 different starters and pizza’s, all of it was absolutely delicious. First visit and will definitely return. Chef was really helpful explaining the specials and suggested something for me on the next visit. Brilliant service 👌🏻

Really nice food. Service was quick and waitress seemed really friendly. We couldn't get parked outside so had a bit of a walk. Would recommend for really great value food.

Wonderful meal, food tasted amazing and a good and varied menu. So many options I did not know what to get. Waiters were very kind and friendly and service was great. Would definitely recommend this place and will love to come back if in the area again.

I can't believe 2 of my favourite Italian restaurants have merged. Il Capriccio and D'Antonio. The best food for a country mile. Great to see Antonio in front of the stove and pizza oven. We went for a last minute lunch today; the calamari and mussels to start with, everything was hot and fresh, best mussels I've had in a long time. As a side we ordered the rosemary and garlic focaccia, Lordy, the fresh olive oil poured over it could be drunk straight from the bottle. I have it on good authority the penne alla vodka is not to be missed. The pasta is cooked Al dente and to order, no mush here. As always the veal Milanese is a treat. Sadly today we had no room for dessert but still opted for a coffee. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.

Food was good. I don’t know if we caught the waitress in a bad mood that day (it was probably because the chef was late), but she was abrupt. But the service was good, food was good, we even took some leftovers away cause we coulnt eat all

Probably the best Italian food I've had. Absolutely delicious. I got the pasta with garlic, napoli sauce in a cream with king prawns & brandy 🔥🔥 honestly the best pasta I've tasted. Will definitely be back. Going to request they put a double serving of pasta 😂😂. If you're looking for a Italian restaurant this is your top choice. 👍 Thank me later.

Visited with my wife recently using a Groupon pizza and pasta voucher. To be honest I didn't hold any great expectations. Having passed by a few times I have always thought the outside gives the impression of a cafe. I was pleasantly surprised to find the inside to have a modern, clean and welcoming design as well as boasting a view of the kitchen through the service hatch (always a sign of nothing to hide). The food did not disappoint either, it was cooked to perfection and as tasty as any Italian food I have ever had. We decided to have a couple of glasses of the house white wine which was also very pleasant. Our waitress was a perfect host, and we chatted briefly about the effects covid is having on the hospitality industry. I just hope this place can survive as I am definitely planning on visiting regularly. Another cracking little restaurant for Hamilton. I cannot fault it, hence 5 stars.

My husband and I stopped for lunch while on a Scottish road trip and had a lovely experience. Food was top notch as was the service. Particularly enjoyed the pasta arrabiata - tasty and filling, but not heavy. We would happily go out of our way to eat here again!

This family run restaurant looked nice authentic italian cafe a bit run down looking but looked cosy so l gave it a try was not given a friendly welcome by the waitress who happened to be the owner she was unhelpful aggressive in her tone when we asked for extra napkins their was dead flies about windowsill where l sat and l had to use my napkin to swzt the flies about my table.the toilet was blocjed and button broken to flush toilet too .it only flushed a bit the water in sinks was coming up blocked when l washed my hands too.food was served cold and salty and pricey ariabaiatt there was no spice to it no chilli either. The wine and coffee was the only nice thing l had.this restaurant gets rave reviews but l can assure you it's not like that. I really dont recommend this restaurant if you want a nice evening with hood portions of food and a friendly service .this restaurant is a disgrace to italian restaurants. Dont go here

Our first visit last night and certainly won't be our last. Friendly service, excellent food and great wine! Can't recommend highly enough and you may even get an Italian lesson from the very helpful waitress/partner 🤣 Unfortunately there was a "customer" who complained about everything! Starter late, meal firstly too salty, then pasta not cooked enough and numerous other things. Hopefully she's not there on our return 🙏

Didn't know what to expect. Top service and a great meal to boot. You can tell the food is made from scratch with that special little something about it. The sauces are amazing. We will be back for more.

Aggressive and rude waitress. Made feel like a naughty child after taking a menu to look for dessert and she came up and took it off me and said uou have to ask me!!! Food was not even average. Didn't have any rice and asked if i wanted salad as a subsitute with ...wait for it....beef stroganoff!!! Second choice was spag bol which tasted of nothing much but salt. Was never asked once if our good was ok . Would highly recommend anyone to steer well clear.

Was here a few months back as a quick stop before the cinema. 5 happy stars for the food, cake and espresso. Authentic and like the small pizzerias in Italy. Loved it ❤️. However, the waitress really needs to up her customer service.... Dour is not the word possibly crabbit 🤣 we just laughed it off as I enjoyed the food so much even though it felt like she was bum rushing us out the place.... We were pushed for time anyway..... Will be back soon .. Hopefully she's lightened up... 😊 Update: Our 2nd visit back today and what can I say - just as I expected - absolutely perfect and can't be faulted - 5 stars still all round! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The same waitress was spot on - lovely and attentive despite being the only waitress there and the restaurant being fully booked... I think she just had a rough day last time ... All is forgiven ☺️ ...Finally a wee jem in Motherwell.. Sorry Hamilton...😁 It's my favourite place - the first time I've given that to any eatery in the 5yrs I've been here from Glasgow. It gives me a warm cosy feeling inside when I'm there ... Maybe because I miss Italy so much... I will without any doubt at all, be back again... And again..👌🤤

Not my fault she was the only waitress attending a full house of 24 diners,enjoyed the main course and waited some time to clear the dishes and when I asked for another beer and espresso with tiramisu her reply was you have to wait I'm busy,waited a further 1/2 hour while she was serving and taking photos for the other guests, I called her over again and she said yes but you have had your main course and so we paid the bill left and walked up to Rocco's and finished our meal there,pity she can't work under stress.

Was looking forward to a spot of lunch and to try the cakes. However upon entering we were greeted by possibly the most surly waitress in Hamilton! "What do you want?" As an opener this kind of customer service is priceless. When we answered that we were looking for food, two menus were slammed down on the table. We looked at each other, laughed and said goodbye. A great pity as we were looking forward to sampling the menu and if we liked then it could have become a new venue for when we are taking clients out to dine. Oh well, gave us a laugh 😂😂😂

Genuinely the best pizza I've had in Scotland, and the staff are lovely. It's somewhat of a hidden gem tucked away down on Cadzow Street but it deserves to be every bit as popular as the ultra-trendy Paesano in Glasgow. If you're on the fence about it, don't be.

Cold, no atmosphere, basic presentation. Small portions and pastas bland. Not cheap for what you get. So disappointed. Maybe better sticking to pizzas.
