Worst curry me and my partner have ate. Tasted better microwaveable ones if i’m honest. Sad because i had high expectations

Bad weather so doesn’t bother me it was later than expected. The food was great, especially the chicken; cooked so well.

I have three favourite Indian restaurants in East Kilbride and this is one of them, great food with great service.

We often get take away from kantipur, however decided to try out the restaurant and it did not disappoint! The buffet is incredible and we won’t hesitate to return. Staff are always so polite and friendly. Kantipur is our choice for Indian take away, it’s the best in the area by a mile. We absolutely love the chicken tikka chasni, naan is always so soft and fluffy. Great value for money and the food is always so tasty. 10/10

Spiced onions missing from set meal.

Portion size was excellent but felt there wasn't that much flavour to either curries, the pakora was slightly overcooked and dry and the Pashwari naan didn't taste of coconut

All you can eat buffet for £17 per head. Absolutely amazing food, absolutely amazing value.

I didnt know they did ceylonese korma as a soup as thats basically what it was, never had anything this bad from Kantipur before, really disappointed.. not sure if i'll be back.

currys were open all over the bag full meal went in bin. driver should be sacked absolute disgrace. complained to restaurant will never order from just eat again

Phenomenal food, portions are fantastic. Meal is always hot and fresh on arrival. Cannot fault it at all.

Possibly the worst quality of food I’ve ever received, doner meat was like mush and incredibly pale, I’ve seen the restaurant reply to people leaving reviews on here almost suggesting the customer should’ve contacted them to try and resolve their issues. I’m unsure me suggesting my food be cooked properly is an adequate resolution.

Starters were delicious, but unfortunate the main of lamb Bhuna was far far too salty. Spoiled the meal.

Garlic and corriander nan….. more like a nan smothered in cheap margarine, inedible!

Mixed pakora was fresh and really nice. The chicken rogan josh was lovely but the lamb in the south indian curry was tough which it isnt usually.

Chasni was disgusting. Chicken smelt off and not cooked right. Pakora was horrible. Chips where very over cooked. Last time I’ll order from here again. Avoid.

Munchie box packed full. Donner meat was fresh but swimming in grease in tub. The sauces were less than half full in tub but no leakage. Chips were lukewarm warm. Pakora wings salad were lovely.

Had a itison voucher,we had a table booked for 6 pm ,on the voucher it stated that the table would be available up to 5.30 pm on a Friday. To be honest I never noticed that however when I booked the night before stated what time we wanted and we would be using The Voucher, when we arrived spot on six pm the restaurant was far from Busy however the manager went into a Rant and told me they shouldn't accept my booking as it was 6 pm after some deliberation during which I mentioned they had accepted the booking and I had Clearly stated it was a voucher he said okay this time but not ever again. I felt quite belittled by his attitude and quite honestly it spoiled the evening for both my wife and me. It was a birthday gift so we had out meal and left. Don't think I will ever be back,I will stick to our usual Indian in east Kilbride who know how to deal with customers in a civilised manner.

This is my favourite restaurant in East Kilbride - Korma is amazing, Pakora's are amazing. Always tastes fresh, delivered hot. Mainly deliveries but I've eaten in once, which was great too.

Chasno no bad but chips cheese donner not upto much

I had a retirement dinner with 27 of the family,service was excellent and buffet had a great selection of food,from starters to sweets and tea and coffee.Well organized staff made my night relaxing and special,could not fault anything.

Honestly the loveliest curries and pakoras I have ever had. Would not go anywhere else.

Food was lovely however I did order a chicken tikka chasni and didn’t realise until it was dished out but I did call the restaurant to make them aware of the mistake he was willing to send out new curry but it had already been dished out

Really wish you could order chicken tikka masala on the set menu. We would order from here every time if you could but this puts us off. We have been forced to try out different restaurants as this is hubby’s favourite dish. Used to be able to get it on Kantipur special for 2.

Have ordered twice from this place and both times the food has been outstanding ! Definitely the best in EK hands down!

Ordered carry'oot through Deliveroo and blown away by the starters we ordered (we didn't order mains). The Mushroom pakora were amazing and not dried out & the spicing in the Chicken 65 starter & tye Nepalese chilli chicken dishes were lovely. Chips were good too but needed salted

Lovely welcome when we came in lovely staff Dipak was our waiter who kindly explained the different flavours of cooked chicken and dips even helped me pick things weren't to spicy so nice

The salmon tikka and fried rice is delicious, best thing I've ever tasted. the tandoori chicken was a bit disappointing, but the rest made up for it. The order was quiet late which made some of the food cold too.

This is a real indian restaurant to tickle your taste bud. We were blown away by their choice of buffet item . Vegetarian will be delighted as paneer is a option of buffet where you can't find paneer in glasgow ,dundee and Edinburgh for a buffet Starters French fries,crealy chicken soup, chicken/veg pakoda, spring roll, samosa, nepalian chilli chicken,grilled wings Mains Chicken korma, chicken kolhapuri , paneer, awesome channa masala, mushroom,paneer, Himalayan lamb was too good, noodles. Amazing garlic naan ,rice,papad,salad Dessert Cheese cake gulab jamun, ice cream with. Choice of sauce and tea/coffee.. No brainer to go...

Food is great, love their Nepalese chicken start and their pizza, however - please stop putting a tub of sauce on the pizza box on the corner, it always ends up squishing a slice of pizza or on top of it.

We came to kantipur with an ITISON voucher, food was really good, service was great from start to finish.

The food is so fresh. This ceylonese korma was to absolutely die for. I have never enjoyed a takeaway so much in my life. It was so fresh, this is definitely my favourite meal to get now. The rice and the peshwari nan was so tasty just made the flavours pop. Definitely recommend

Everything was fresh and catered for our daughters vegetarian requirements. Staff were friendly and they kept the table clear as soon as we were finished.

Wish I could give 10 stars 🌟 12 adults and 3 children went for 60th birthday last night (10th March). Food, service everything was 1st class. Nothing too much trouble for serving and kitchen staff. Highly recommend a visit. Brilliant 👏 👏

ordered pakora with sauce but no sauce delivered and chicken was very dry in main meal.

Kantipur is under new management and I’m afraid the quality of the food was deplorable. We have always loved the food here whether take away or sit in but tonight was a terrible disappointment. The donor kebab came without any mushrooms, onions etc, it was slimy and tasteless. My favourite curry, a chicken saag had barely been introduced to any spinach and lacked any real flavour. We felt really lucky to have this restaurant so close to us but it seems our luck ran out.

Visited Kantipur for a meal a couple of days ago. I had Lamb Harayali for my main and it was absolutely delicious. Fellow diners were similarly impressed with their meals. Service was great too. Would highly recommend giving this place a visit.

First time ordering from here and it was absolute perfection. Delivery was early, food piping hot and the flavours were fantastic! Won’t be using anywhere else now. A well deserved 5 stars!

took a chance ordering from here tonight after getting their menu through the door. unfortunately the only thing edible was the pizza. I had one bite out of the doner kebab and now waiting on a new kebab being delivered from another restaurant. partners curry was tasteless and watery, ate half of it and now it's in the bin. spent over £40 on this order for the majority of it to be binned, really disappointed. will stick to where I know from now on.

I love your pizzas but can you please stop sitting a tub of sauce on top of a slice of pizza. It’s unhygienic and it ruins the slice you sit it on. Thanks
