Fantastic pub . The landlord is very knowledgeable about his Ales and took time to help choose my beer and a free taster. Very friendly place I shall be going back .

Great service, great beer its nearly always busy especially at weekends. Only downside is its size and no bar food, it's quite small so fills up quickly. No food or tea and coffee served, interior recently upgraded.

Not a very traditional feeling pub, as it has been refurnished to look more modern. Good selection of ales and beers and good servers. Just not my cup of tea.

What a brilliant place. Brendan the landlord is one of the few folk left in the hospitality industry who understands hospitality. This is a genuinely welcoming pub with the bonus of the town’s best range of craft and cask, by far. Highly recommended.

First visit, good choice of ales, friendly staff. Check out the opening hours, 4pm the day I was there, that's not every day and not on the weekend. Definitely be back

Amazing pub. First walked in, was quiet, but still had an atmosphere. The beer is obviously well kept and cared for. Good selection of bottled ales, snacks etc. Love it!

A well looked after traditional pub, a good range of with 4 real ales on tap . Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A really good, traditional pub especially if you like real ale but does have a good selection of other drinks, including our favourite rum which isn't widely available.

First off its not a wine bar but specialises in a wide variety of beer. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Definitely the best pub in Strathaven. ...and contrary to the opening hours stated above it is open on Sundays -at least in the evening.

I love this bar and the beers it sells. It is on the smaller side and can get roasting hot, but it is clean and friendly.

Best pub in Strathaven. Always a good atmosphere and a great selection of ales including Strathaven Ales. Limited seating but plenty of standing space and there is a nice fire place and a couple of sofas if you want to chill out. Staff are all great and really go out their way. Went in recently with a friend and they fed all the punters with free pies at half time at the rugby. They have a TV up on the wall but would benefit from another TV as it can be hard to get a view when the sport is on and the pub is particularly busy.

I had a great time visiting Strathaven and it was in no small part thanks to The Weavers. Brendan was very welcoming and I instantly felt at home, like this had been my neighborhood bar for years. The other patrons were also extremely helpful and friendly, which only made the experience that much more amazing. I look forward to my next visit to Strathaven, if only to pop into The Weavers again.
