The best restaurants in Bothwell and Uddingston South Lanarkshire South West Scotland

I took my family to Otimo’s for lunch and OMG it was delicious kids had a great time and loved the food too even though they are fussy eater’s I will definitely be back

Esta es la segunda vez que pedimos a Golden Kitchen y, de nuevo, no nos decepcionó. Pedí 3 x menú fijo para uno (que tiene una fantástica relación calidad-precio) y medio pato crujiente. El tamaño de las porciones era excelente, tanto que nos sobró suficiente para el día siguiente. Nuestra comida estaba lista para ser recolectada solo 20 minutos después de que hicimos el pedido por teléfono. No puedo alabar lo suficiente a estos chicos; sin duda la mejor comida para llevar chino en Uddingston.

Stopped in for lunch, food was amazing, service was great will be back.

Perfect visit! We took a trip to the Uddingston Food Market on a horrible wet and windy morning then popped here for a bite to eat afterwards. The food was amazing and Kayla was so lovely. I didn’t get the older lady’s name (maybe the owner?) but she was so lovely and helpful as well. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Afternoon tea with friends - sandwiches were delicious as were the cakes. Service was very good with friendly staff. We took our own bottles of wine, corkage charged which standard The crockery was an mis match which is the tearooms concept but not sure about it. Inside was lovely decorated, however it was a nice sunny day and we sat outside. We were effectively sitting in a carpark. Two of the tables had seen better days. In all was good experience but the shabby chic is a little too shabby for me

visited for some seafood and pasta and was blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the SIZE of the prawns!! an absolutely gorgeous meal

Delicious brunch! Really tasty and flavourful. Lovely, attentive and friendly staff. Shame well behaved Dogs aren’t allowed inside but the outside area is as nice a setting as you could ask for :-)

To Phil and Sandy...We just wanted to send a five star plus review after our final visit to our favourite restaurant...which is sadly closing we have been going to this wonderful restaurant for over 20 years the food is brilliant but more importantly the hospitality is fab. You will be sadly missed and best wishes for the future see you around!!!!

Food was lovely, had a gluten free range aswell without any issues staff could advise what was gluten free from menu - value for money aswell as big portions

Love this place. Food lovely and nice friendly staff.prices really reasonable.Can always manage to fit you in however busy they are. Extensive menu with daily specials and home made soups.Great selection of cakes too.

Used to be the best wee roll / soup place , got a roll on bacon , looked nice But you could have resoled your boots with it Soo baad

Visited for lunch today, food was amazing. Chicken satay skewers, chicken curry and salt n chilli chips. Decent price will be back soon

Food is excellent, good portion sizes, plenty of flavour. Sat inside which is a bit strange, not really any atmosphere. Service was okay, clearly understaffed to deal with seated restaurant customers compared to the large amount of takeaway orders.
