Food was lovely, had a gluten free range aswell without any issues staff could advise what was gluten free from menu - value for money aswell as big portions

We had a late lunch here today and the food was delicious and service great. Nice place and spotless. We had a Groupon but with having our meal at 3pm we had to choose from the menu they use any day at this time and 2 courses was only £9.95 anyway so didn't save anything so wish I hadn't bothered but would highly recommend a visit and will cut out the middle man next time.

Lovely family meal at Il Capo. Staff very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Will be back again.

After having to cancel due to the Beast from the East, we eventually got there a week later. Very pleasant welcome, showing to table, started to order, to be told there was no Pre Theatre, although clearly printed at the top of the menu. Asked for water 3 times. Food good, although two of us choose Stroganoff, not as creamy as it should be but tasty. Would definitely go but, but pick something different. Good value for money.

Hubbie and I visited last week ..felt welcome as soon as we got in and bar man came to our table to advise the cocktail of the day which I picked and it was lovely Food was fantastic I had the seafood sarter which was lovely and then the beef burger which I couldnt finish as a huge portion and hubbie got the antipasti to start which again was a plateful of meats and he then had mixed grill which he said was fantastic . staff are very helpful and intentive. We enjoyed a lovely dinner here last week. Being a Saturday night, the restaurant was very busy and although we had booked using the online system, the restaurant had not received our booking. The staff apologised and within a few minutes, seated us at a good table. The food was delicious and very fresh. One of the things that I have liked about this restaurant in the past, is the friendliness of the staff and this visit was no different. The staff always give a great welcome and great service.

My wife and I remember going to the Redstone's Hotel a number of years ago and decided it was about time we did a return, little knowing that the restaurant had changed to Italian Cuisine. What the heck, we booked it anyway and I am glad we did. The food was outstanding, I had fish cakes followed by a nice steak which I thoroughly enjoyed even so that I cant remember what the wife had, however I can confirm that she too had clean plates at the end of her meal just like me. The staff gave us the right amount of attention and made sure that our needs were catered for. It wont be too long before we make a return visit.

Family of 5 visited on Saturday 2nd September 17 for late lunch... Received a nice welcome and shown to nice table in good surroundings, Staff pleasant and chatty which was good, we had a great selection of food to chose from and not disappointed when it got served, Great value and would recommend

This well established hotel is under new management and the resteraunt " Il Capo " is a Complement to the hotel. The menu is varied with a good crossover of dishes . Service was excellent and our selection of courses was fist class . Prices are average for this quality of restaurant / food
