Great for a group dinner or a couples dinner. Can either go fancy or casual. Good all round experience. Staff very friendly.

My girlfriend and I both got a pint of coke to drink, which were £3.95 each. We also both got Mozzarella Sticks to start (£6.50 each). For mains, my girlfriend got Penne Alfredo (£12.95) & I got Penne Arrabiata (£10.95). The starters were overcooked - the batter was solid. With regard to the mains, my girlfriend thought her pasta sauce was far too thick and overly cheesy. I thought my pasta sauce tasted like Heinz tomato soup (definitely was not the colour or taste of what arrabiata should be). We found this disappointing as we have dined at this restaurant a few times previously and haven’t experienced anything like this - however, due to this visit, we will not be back.

Really friendly service, food was delicious. I was catching up with friends so spent a lovely Wednesday afternoon eating and drinking. We weren’t rushed out of leaving our table. Really reasonably priced too. Can’t recommend enough

We celebrated lots of special occasions in the smaller restaurant and were delighted to see them expand. We went for lunch with our baby girl who has been seriously ill since she was born in August, we’re always nervous going out with her and the equipment she needs after being in hospital so much. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, we were given a table with lots of space, they spoke away to our daughter not phased by the tubes and equipment around her, they spoke away to us and we were served our food really quickly. We were reassured we didn’t need to rush when our baby got really upset and was crying. For the hour and a half we were there we felt normal again, and I can’t thank the staff enough for this. The food was excellent just as we remember and we can’t wait to come back!

Not to forget the owners/waiters who are so professional,helpful and friendly to everyone. Their food dishes are absolutely excellent and tasty. Not because of the food, that was still fine, as described above, but because of the unsolicited text messages I keep receiving on an almost daily basis offering discounts. I am very sure that I have never opted in to receive any kind of marketing messages and even blocking the sender does not help. This is not okay and I will not order from here again.

Disappointing Christmas eve meal. The whole environment was a sensory overload - the lights were exceptionally bright the lights with no ambience at all. The restaurant was very very loud as it is one big space with no partitioning and children were running around and shouting as well as this the bar smashed a number of glass one of which nearly hit a customer sitting on the other side of the bar. Food was luke warm and basic - not worth the £25. Finally, we were given the wrong bill and this took approx 10 mins to sort out. Will not be back anytime soon.

The food was beautiful. I had mussels in white wine sauce and they were massive. Perfectly cooked. The mussels were very tasty and very well seasoned. The chef Gary clearly knows why he is doing albeit he is very shy and wouldn't come and say hello! For main I had the salmon limone. I don't like lemon (yes, don't laugh it says it in the title), however, asked for the salmon just in a white wine sauce with chips instead of potatoes and veg. My wife and I visited Hamilton in September and enjoyed our meal at Gusto D'Italia so much that went again when we revisited Hamilton with our daughter this week. The food was fabulous yet again and the service was brilliant. The staff are so friendly and they always make you feel welcome.
