It was a lovely afternoon having a christmas lunch with friends. The staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly, and the food was delicious

Dinner for one, the host Donna was really welcoming and very attentive. The food was absolutely brilliant, had the pre dinner menu. Absolutely amazing value for money. Will definitely be back.

We love this restaurant and all the staff. Having a complex needs baby with significant medical problems it’s difficult to find somewhere we can relax and not feel under pressure. The staff here always make us feel so welcome and Donna is so kind and amazing with our daughter, we are always given plenty of space for her buggy and equipment and never rushed. The food is brilliant and served quickly. We have all our special occasions in here and it’s our go to for a brilliant lunch deal too. Thanks so much, you have no idea the difference you make to our day when we come here

I was looking forward to this place after reading the reviews but we must have got a different chef the night we were in? First time I’ve ever had hot cheesy bruschetta with no balsamic with pre packed Tesco salad. Not authentic as expected especially for the price but it was edible. The risotto on the other hand was far too salty. After a few bites I had to run to the toilet to vomit. Extremely expensive for the quality of food. I have no issues paying good money for good food but I came away from here feeling pretty ripped off to be honest. Their saving grace was the service. The waitress was lovely but had no authority to compensate the disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Family birthday party. We had pre theatre menu. Kids had a selection. Food was superb the fuzzy kids emptied their plates. Yum yum. Staff were the best. Everything served promptly with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Just love this place

What a great local Italian! We loved this restaurant -good food, great value and a very welcoming atmosphere. We were staying at the Premier Inn round the corner and this was a nice change for a meal. Our waitress Donna couldn’t have been better. Definitely worth a visit.

To be honest from the outside it doesn't look too good, however different story inside, food, service was very good.

We were travelling through the area and found this lovely Italian restaurant. What a wonderful experience it was. Staff were so kind and attentive. The food was great value for money and well prepared. The restaurant is spacious and filled with authentic Italian decor. I wanted to get some pictures and they accommodated above and beyond with showing me great areas for the perfect picture! As it was my birthday I was surprised with a lemon chello shot before we left. I hope to visit again if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend ❤️

Genuine service and food quality was amazing ! All staff were very warm and welcoming Joanna was our main server she was fabulous really attentive and made our birthday celebrations all that more special ! Food was well priced and generous portions and tasty with great selection. Setting was modern and clean ! Thanks so much to everyone !

Ordered takeaway delivery from here and although food arrived quickly, the garlic bread arrived burnt, cold and tasted like it had been reheated. Not what I'd expect having paid the price I did. Pasta was ok but doubt I'd order from here again as it's not good value for money.

Excellent meal with large portions at a reasonable price

We had a lovely lunch here. Very good value lunch menu. I had minestrone and pollo milanese, both were very nice. Joanna looked after us and she was very pleasant. I would go again. Quite a large restaurant and would be good to try it out for dinner.

Had a fantastic family meal last night, the waitress was brilliant didn't get her name but she was from Romania. Food was exceptional only downer was there was a big noisy party in, not the restaurants fault but made conversation difficult. Shame we don't live locally as we would definitely be back!!

Ordered a takeaway from here and never again will I order a takeaway let alone set foot in this place, missing items on the order delivery was late and the food was so bland and so cold it was disgusting, the managers attitude on the phone towards a customer who just spent over £40 on a delivery was a disgrace telling me I'm wrong for phoning and that they are a restaurant and not a takeaway so why are you delivering food then. Sent 4 separate dishes in the exact same napoli sauce which tasted like a can of heinz soup, congealed overcooked carbanara. Absolute joke of a place

Have ordered from this restaurant many times. However, this time, after eating their food I quickly succumbed to acute stomach pains and sickness etc. 24 hours later I am still in bed with stomach spasms. We I called the restaurant to advise they were completely uninterested and dismissed it as impossible

My girlfriend and I both got a pint of coke to drink, which were £3.95 each. We also both got Mozzarella Sticks to start (£6.50 each). For mains, my girlfriend got Penne Alfredo (£12.95) & I got Penne Arrabiata (£10.95). The starters were overcooked - the batter was solid. With regard to the mains, my girlfriend thought her pasta sauce was far too thick and overly cheesy. I thought my pasta sauce tasted like Heinz tomato soup (definitely was not the colour or taste of what arrabiata should be). We found this disappointing as we have dined at this restaurant a few times previously and haven’t experienced anything like this - however, due to this visit, we will not be back.

Fabulous food and excellent service.

The space is well decorated and clean! The service was very good! The food is good but it didn't make us feel like we were truly enjoying a great Italian recipe. Despite that, it seems like a good restaurant to me.

Got a booking at the last minute while staying nearby, good varied menu and friendly service. We were there quite early but I imagine it gets loud, if you like that kind of thing, seemed like lots of big groups were coming in (Friday night).

Went here for my birthday dinner, bruschetta is absolutely lovely and the penne al filetto was incredible also. With my dessert they brought it out with a wee candle on top when we mentioned in passing it was my birthday. Cannot rate them highly enough, an absolutely wonderful restaurant

We celebrated lots of special occasions in the smaller restaurant and were delighted to see them expand. We went for lunch with our baby girl who has been seriously ill since she was born in August, we’re always nervous going out with her and the equipment she needs after being in hospital so much. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, we were given a table with lots of space, they spoke away to our daughter not phased by the tubes and equipment around her, they spoke away to us and we were served our food really quickly. We were reassured we didn’t need to rush when our baby got really upset and was crying. For the hour and a half we were there we felt normal again, and I can’t thank the staff enough for this. The food was excellent just as we remember and we can’t wait to come back!

Really friendly service, food was delicious. I was catching up with friends so spent a lovely Wednesday afternoon eating and drinking. We weren’t rushed out of leaving our table. Really reasonably priced too. Can’t recommend enough

Gusti D’Italia is consistently first rate: the menu options and prices, the utterly fantastic food, the layout and decor. What really makes Gusti special is the staff, especially Donna. To say that Donna is personable, attentive, and generally brilliant would be a huge understatement. Go to Gusti!

I ordered food online, so I can’t speak about the atmosphere. Delivery time was about 1 hour. The food was overall fine, although the pizza was a bit salty. I would order again though. Not because of the food, that was still fine, as described above, but because of the unsolicited text messages I keep receiving on an almost daily basis offering discounts. I am very sure that I have never opted in to receive any kind of marketing messages and even blocking the sender does not help. This is not okay and I will not order from here again.
