The best restaurants in South Ayrshire South West Scotland

We visited yesterday and was very disappointed with food. We ordered fish & chips what we got was 4 fish goujons and frozen chips with salad which was mostly packet lettuce 1 pint orange juice halfpint shandy and 1 mocha. Price £49 00. Not worth the money

I should have written a review long before now but this is such a hidden gem I guess the people of Troon just want to keep it to themselves. The food is just outstandingly delicious and beautifully presented. Coffee is also superb. The staff are so welcoming too. My only complaint is that it’s too wee and so you often have to wait a little bit of time for a table (but oh so worth the wait) maybe that’s why we are trying to keep it to ourselves we don’t want the wait to be any longer. If you’re in Troon don’t even think of anywhere else for breakfast or lunch. You can thank me later.

Was on holiday and found this little bakery, popped in and bought a few bits, the scone was beautiful. Placed an order for 20 steak and gravy pies for my father in law which they were happy to do. If the owners read this, the pies made it back to hull and my father in law is enjoying eating them, he has given them top marks. Well worth the visit, lovely bakes and great prices. A big thank you for our order 🙂

We had lunch here today with friends and all of us absolutely loved our meals. Our pizzas and lasagne were delicious! Staff are very friendly and there is such a relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant. 5☆ from us!

For the 1st time ever, I threw the Ck burger in the bin. Terrible. This place has been so consistently good as well. Thats me put off now.

Food was excellent, staff are efficient and very sweet. Beautiful restaurant. Good prices and portion sizes.

Had a take out this evening and the only word to describe everything was delicious! Massaman chicken curry deal and a Chicken Tom Yum soup. Will be back next week!

As a lifelong health care professional I can appreciate the work of experts . This is an excellent traditional fish and chippy and these ladies know their craft . Delightful chat while waiting for my birthday supper . Perfectly cooked haddock and chips . A gem of a place .
