Kenny's Bakery in South Ayrshire

Was on holiday and found this little bakery, popped in and bought a few bits, the scone was beautiful. Placed an order for 20 steak and gravy pies for my father in law which they were happy to do. If the owners read this, the pies made it back to hull and my father in law is enjoying eating them, he has given them top marks. Well worth the visit, lovely bakes and great prices. 1st time buying from this bakers. Really nice traditional bakers selling thick tattie scones,iced ginger cake.rhubarb pies.apple slices,strawberry tarts a few old favoutites. Also do hot rolls & steak pies. Defo be back

Lovely fresh baked products, placed a large order for rolls and tattie scones and they went down a treat on our trip down south.

From first entry to leaving and then consuming my purchases was a Delight and Forever Memorable Experience. Staff were first class, helpful and friendly. Prices were definitely wallet and purse friendly but most of all the Happiest was eating my purchases which were numerous savoury and sweet. So Long Story Short Definitely My Go To Place for all my Bakery Munchies/Needs to say the least 😀

Best pies in Ayrshire no grease at all steak pie amazing as is all their products rolls are lovely Staff are so nice and always friendly cannot fault anything defo recommend I hate hate onions and they go out of their way to accommodate my weird hatred put my pie into separate bag from my hubby’s would give them 10 out of 5 if I could

We popped into kennys for a quick lunch, as always the que was out the door which definitely tells you something! As always the service is great and the food is so good definitely non of your processed rubbish.... I couldn't recommend kennys enough!

Small bakery excellent bread and cakes

Bought morning rolls, still warm, ended up with steak pies, scones, crumpet, and a large cottage loaf, the smell inside this bakery is amazing, and you can see the bakers working, fantastic

Spot on ! Great service, fantastic caramel shortcake and madeira loaf. Asked for plain fairy cakes which the baker will have ready to collect tomorrow.

Amazing place. The strawberry tarts are addictive and their doughnutsare incredible. The mince and onion pies are the best I've ever tasted. Freshly baked bread, rolls, potato scones are all amazing too. Can't wait to try the other wonderful looking things they have.

Dropped in for a hot snack and ended up spending nearly twenty quid. The hot food was excellent and for what we bought it was fantastic value. Its a few years since our first visit but will not be as long until next time!

What lovely friendly staff in Kenny’s Bakery. Nothing is a bother. Always a pleasure to visit and purchase goodies. The strawberry tarts are the best and the pastry is lovely and crisp. The Brodie’s are delightful with perfect pastry and delicious filling. The rolls are the best ever. I cannot recommend this wee bakery highly enough and go along the craic is brilliant 🤩 xxxx

The food and desserts from Kenny's was outstanding. We had guests from out of town who praised the selection and quality of the spread. The costumer service was second to none.

One of the best bakeries in ayrshire, (especially the apple silce) super friendly staff and kenny is an absolute hoot. Everything is freshly baked each day, definitely worth talking a pop in you won't be disappointed.

Came up to Ayr for a visit and discovered this little gem , square slice in a roll to go scotch pies and iced ginger cake , I wish I could have waited for the empire biscuits that were just being made , fabulous

You know a place is good when the que is out the door and down the street, this is quite a regular thing. It is a small shop so selection isn't massive but the food is delicious, portion sizes are great and all at reasonable prices. The only issue is that there's no parking nearby available apart from across the road behind the pub, which is a 5 min walk. It's definitely worth a try!

Great to see Kennys bakery thriving. The man is a absolute gentleman and a character. Was over from N.Ireland in 2021 Kenny went out of his way to bake what has to be the tastiest tipsy cakes I have ever encountered absolutely lovely. Hopefully call back soon for more treats. Fantastic Bakery.

This baker is absolutely delish from Kennys freshly made rolls, doughnuts, yum yums, jam doughnuts and pancakes!! We have absolutely loved everything ever tried from here and so much so asked if he would make our wedding cake which was incredible! 2 tiers of victoria sponge and 1 tier of carrot cake! Everyone commented on it! This place is the best about 👌. Would not go to any other bakers!

Went into Kenny's bakery recently with my wife Susan great atmosphere really enjoyed it Kenny also took time out of his day to chatting away great conversation the bakery run to perfection it reminded myself of days many years ago when I worked in a bakery in Johnstone brought back memories from the past 👍The baking was absolutely first class will definitely be back in again staff serving was polite well manered Ronnie Susan 🤝✔️👍

Popped in there for the first time today and bought 2 rolls n bacon and potato scone plus 2 strawberry tarts both excellent, staff were great I'll be back.

Great wee bakery. Long opening hours. Different products all day freshly baked in front of you. Nothing pre-prepared then just put in the oven. Fantastic to see a local small business thriving.

It's been a year since last visited, dont know why it took us so long as they sell delicious food like the old fashioned morning rolls, bresh bread, fresh cakes and tarts. They also sell hot beakfast/lunch food and prices are very reasonable! We bought some strawberry tarts and they were the best I've I've tastied on a long time! Highly recommend! P.s. parking is kinda difficult?

He makes all the cakes, sausage rolls, pies etc himself just noo coz of COVID 19 it's 2 in at a time. But safety is paramount at the moment, there very friendly Sharron & Kenny. U can also order something for the next day 👍👍👍

Bought a large white loaf for £1.40 from Kenny’s today’s, hot out of the oven and it was absolutely fabulous! Big pat on the back for Kenny who is single handily keeping the good folk of Prestwick supplied with bread, roll, cakes and pies.

Been going too this bakery since he opened as i do like a freshly made loaf and rolls. I have a order placed every week for my bread and rolls in my opinion he is the best at these. All the bakery is done on the premises it might be a small bakery but his varieties are amazing. If you go you will not walk out without a bag of goodies

Everything baked at Kennys is first class. His rolls are like the ones I remember from my childhood, you will not be disappointed in giving Kennys Bakery a visit and will guarantee a return visit ! Got a cherry cake and Madeira cake for Christmas/ New Year, both excellent quality and quantity! Hope Kennys Bakery will grow from strength to strength as he so deserves it.
