Homer THAI 2Go in South Ayrshire

Had a take out this evening and the only word to describe everything was delicious! Massaman chicken curry deal and a Chicken Tom Yum soup. Will be back next week!

Great taste, poor portion size and value for money. Both main dish containers were not full, and the Green Curry was mostly 'watery' sauce with not very much chicken or veg. The taste of all the dishes was good, but the portions were poor considering how much they cost!

Got some sushi from here a few weeks ago and it was delicious plus delivery service was great, so you can imagine my disappointment when I tried to order some today only for them to have completely disappeared from the website. Did they stop making sushi?

Cozy decoration, fast and attentive service, succulent dishes, a very good restaurant to introduce Thai cuisine!

It's definitely not cheap but it is simply THE most authentic Thai restaurant and takeaway we've come across in Scotland so far. Having been to Bangkok and Phuket and eaten there extensively, enjoying the most awesome street food, Homer2Go brings back so many amazing and happy memories. We live 40 minutes away from their takeaway, get the driver to meet us half way....we drive to meet the driver. That's how good this place is. Som Tam, Laarb, awesome sticky rice, sushi etc etc... Just give them a try, you won't be disappointed! Note: restaurant is currently under refurbishment as of April 2023. Takeaway is a separate shop a few doors up the road but it does also have a few sit in tables. อร่อยมะ !!! ขอบคุณครับ

Really fantastic food and service. We made a reservation the day before and managed to get a table for 3 on a Friday night with ease. The food was incredibly tasty and the staff were amazing. The main restaurant is still under renovation and it is a bit tight for seating here, but that just adds to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

The sushi rolles I ordered was the best ones I’ve ever had, totally recommend👍👍👍

Had takeaway. Noodles and veg cooked well. Unfortunately no real taste. No chilli or spices. So bland, Thai food is normally bursting with flavour. Not cheap either £50 for 2 people What a shame

Really, very good. One of my kids said, "it tastes like it's home made". Now, my ability to make authentic Thai food is at best limited so they were obviously referring to another home but I know what they meant, and it's a compliment. We went to Homer for the Japanese things on the menu too (they're Japan-mad) so we had sushi, dim-sum, spring rolls, veg green curry, and some kind of beef noodle thing. Every single thing tasted amazing, and the lady who served us was so nice! We'll definitely be back.

Amazing find - really happy | lucked out two nights in a row. Pineapple rice Fried crispy Wonton Dragon roll Urumaki All delicious | unfortunately ate it all before the photos. Staff were also lovely and gracious so that’s a big plus

We had the salmon and the vegetable tempura bento boxes, which also include miso soup. Absolutely loved the whole meal. Wonderful service and will happily be back to try more of the menu.

Excellent service from the team at the site. Gluten free rice was prepared and also several dishes. Beautiful nori, maki, and rainbow rolls. Very skilled preparation. The died ginger put me off however, and the rice noodle was very clumpy. Some more attention to quality and it would be 5 stars.

We cannot say enough about Homer in Ayr to make it any better than what it is. The food is beyond beautiful and very well presented in portions that are just enough to make you want more and more . The staff and owner are warm and relaxed hosts that make the experience even better. If you are looking for amazing Japanese cuisine look no further.

Nipped in for a spot of lunch and wow. The food was amazing. We had soft shell crab sushi, katsu sushi, tempura prawns and hoisin duck bao buns with nom fries. Absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back to try out more on the menu.

Takeaway sushi is great but even better sat in. Great bento box with salmon, sushi etc and my boy was spoiled and looked after by the staff. Enjoyed his katsu chicken sause separate.

Excellent sushi place, probably the best I've visited in the UK. The food was all made to order, very fresh and high quality. It's a small venue, so booking ahead is highly recommended. Outstanding staff were very welcoming to us. Will definitely be back!!

This has to be the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to in the UK. Everything we ordered was delicious, the staff were lovely and friendly, couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and the restaurant was really nicely decorated and modern. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Ayr.
