The best restaurants in Midstocket / Rosemount Aberdeen City North East Scotland

I’ve never been so disappointed with a restaurant as much as this place! Service was deplorable and the food was terrible! Avoid at all costs!!!!

Parada para tomar un café y unas tostadas sin gluten. Fue fantástico, enorme rodaja y un montón de mantequilla! El servicio era rápido y el costo estaba bien, compré un poco de pan GF también.

Popped in today for a takeaway lunch and opted for the carrot and coriander soup and a smoked salmon bagel. Both absolutely delicious and well presented and the bagel had some yummy nice quality crisps on the side. Staff friendly. I will definitely return!

We visited this place for a coffee when visiting this part of Aberdeen. We expected to be seated on arrival but after a short wait chose our own seats. We had a nice coffee and filled rolls which were very pleasant. Staff were nice but did nit engage with the patrons much.

My favourite kebab shop. The doner is delicious with a choice of sauces. If it's quieter, I'll order something else. It's equally good. The staff are excellent and really efficient. Nothing fazes them and the food is thoroughly cooked and served quickly. Everything is fresh and nothing sits about for long.

Savita serves you the authentic Scottish dishes to easy on the go meals. Crispy chicken and panini were my fav.

No problems here. Food wasn't bad at all. The calzone looked good and there was plenty of all the courses. Average, middle of the road Italian. 4 stars for the food. However, let down a little by the service. All very pleasant but we were never asked for a second drinks' order despite sitting with empty glasses for 15 minutes. Also, at the end of the meal we got fed up waiting to pay and had to go to the till in the end. Only other recommendation would be to get draught beer rather than bottled please.

Friendly staff and a nice theatre bar for a quick pint after the show! Always nice to returning when a show comes to town. I look forward to returning on the next one

Had 30minutes to kill, walked in, sat down service was quick on point and plate cleared promptly after. Excellent ceasar salad, shame there wasn’t more on the plate :) Always like the atmosphere it just relaxed.

Good atmosphere the national was on so pretty busy, good selection of beer on draught and good selection of spirits and cocktails at a decent price, didn't have food but menu looks decent and decent price

We came here on Saturday night. It’s always tricky to get parked, but it’s definitely worth the effort. The ice cream is delicious. The service is good. The size of scoop was good. The prices are quite steep (£2.55 for one scoop). It it’s worth it. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

We booked a table for 4 on a Thursday evening. The name of the restaurant kind of suggests that this might be a vegan/vegetarian only venue - it couldn’t be further from the truth - there is certainly a full vegan menu but there is an extensive menu offering non-v/v options also. All three courses that we ordered were creatively put together and well presented and cooked. I have scored down for atmosphere as the restaurant/bar was very very quiet on the Thursday evening when we visited. Based on the food service the restaurant should have been booked up. Aberdonians/visitors - if you’re not eating at The Braided Fig you are missing out. And as the saying goes - use it or lose it. Alas, the large braided fig tree in the centre atrium is no longer - a victim of Covid it seems? Even though it remains in the restaurant/bar and is hanging onto most of its shrivelled leaves for now, it does feel like the restaurant might want to invest in a healthy replacement at some point as the old fig tree is now in a rather sad state. Overall, very happy with our meal and would definitely recommend it to others.

Closed at 5pm, Monday 9 Oct. Website said it was open.

Order from here a couple of times, the foods okay, nothing special, better kebab shops around the area but good value for money and staff are friendly.
