McNasty's in Aberdeen City

Good atmosphere the national was on so pretty busy, good selection of beer on draught and good selection of spirits and cocktails at a decent price, didn't have food but menu looks decent and decent price

Never had food. Meeting mates for a horse racing day. Couldn't get a table because they were all reserved for "regulars" overpriced and no atmosphere. So we all left and found a better, more inviting place to enjoy our day, which we all did.

Out for a few drinks with wife on Friday and was so disappointed in the reaction from the bar staff at McNastys. Had an issue with my rum and Diet Coke due to it being super sweat following a dash from the soda gun. Asked the bar maid to change the drink but with a can of Diet Coke which I would pay for. She advised that I would have to pay for the rum also. She proceeded to poor herself a sample Diet Coke from the soda dispenser to prove to herself that there was no issue with the dispenser and that I was lying. I advised that if she was going to charge me for replacing the drink I would just leave, she told me “whatever”. I left and won’t be back.

Great pub with a good atmosphere. Friendly punters of all ages go here. Fantastic karaoke. Can get very busy at times.

Beautiful especially because there are darts, clean bathroom, but for those who don't like fried food I don't recommend it because almost everything is fried, AN EXPERIENCE TO ABSOLUTELY TRY

I'm far too old for being crushed in like a sardine in a 100DB environment! Great if you'te under 30 and in a party mood, I suppose.

Quick drink before meeting my wife for tea out. I've not been in while it's been so quiet, but it was enjoyed by the regulars.

Pint was fine but seems to be a covid pub. Everyone in there was hacking. Ugh

If you are looking for a karaoke night with character in Aberdeen, this is THE place. My friends and I will be trying to go at least once a fortnight on the Friday/Saturday karaoke nights. The staff is lovely and efficient, and the pub just transforms. Amongst the same few usual regulars queuing their usual songs; the DJ nailing Ice, Ice Baby; and the inevitable groups of bachelorettes/birthday people -- your night is just bound to be one to remember! A small tip? Practice your Shallow lyrics before you go in!

Yes. Fri and Sat - must go for karaoke. Full stop. Great singers, great vibes

Wasn’t sure about the name, but absolutely lovely inside! Lovely, efficient staff. Soup of the day: delicious, in a cute tureen, with very fresh bread. Comfy leather chairs, wooden mouldings & decorative wrought iron: olde worlde charm with modern comfort & convenience. So much signed sporting (& musical!) memorabilia! I couldn’t even count how many big TVs - pretty sure you can see one from anywhere in this pub!

Really good service haven't been in for a few years due to covid had asked for Stella Artois none. !!! So had a Corona spoke to an old friend who I hadn't see for a few years as well was only in for 1 drink but was offered at table service very impressed will definitely be back

Lovely quick lunchtime service so you have plenty of time to enjoy the food without having to rush in your lunch break

If you like a bit of karaoke, then this is the place for you. We always have a good time in here, especially if you choose the right song, and the whole bar starts singing along. Probably not the right place for a quiet, romantic couples evening though....

Every time I come to Aberdeen for work (3-4 times a year), I stop by here in the evening to enjoy a glass of beer and dinner.

We went to this pub for drinks and to enjoy the music which was very good service was quick and a very good atmosphere, but when you have music for gods sake switch off all the televisions

Always such a great atmosphere in here! Karaoke nights on Saturdays in McNastys are worth the visit. Always excellent music and such a fun crowd.

I've never been here when it wasn't busy. It's always a vibrant atmosphere. Karaoke most nights. Bar service is prompt and friendly. They do have bathroom attendants, which is not everyone's cup of tea. I've never eaten there, so no rating for food. Fun night!

Had lunch here today and chicken and chips were great, cooked really well and a steal at only £6.99! Staff are lovely, friendly and chatty. Only reason I've given a 4 for atmosphere is because it wasn't very busy, but that's more to do with the time of day/week than anything else. Would thoroughly recommend for good pub grub.

Great bar that's always full but it could really do with better air conditioning for the summer months.

Great bar for virtually every sports fan with over 20 TV screens covering every angle. A small good quality reasonably priced menu would satisfy the majority of customers . A very well run pub with the owner and his wife always at hand along with loyal staff , really worth a visit.

Fabulous atmosphere. Bar service was impeccable standards . Guinness served perfectly every pint. Staff engagement on the money and clear they enjoy working here. Busy and a place highly recommended

We had a family quick meal last night. The food was great, service was good and our dog was allowed in. Staff very friendly. We will be back next time in Aberdeen

This was our final stop on our lads Christmas night out. It was the liveliest of the 5 pubs we visited. Great, friendly atmosphere. Reminded me of how Tatlers used to be in the 90's! Complete strangers would come up and chat to us. There was constant karaoke singing and anyone in the bar could join in (and did!) as there are various TV screens showing the lyrics. A great end to the night, wish we'd gone there sooner! Will definitely be back. 😀

Went for lunch on Friday, great atmosphere, excellent staff and very clean. The food was great, best coleslaw in town. Definitely will be back.

Well the name doesn't lie. The food here is NASTY. Problems started with the first item on the order: Black coffee. Pretty hard to mess up, right? Wrong. They use Nescafé instant coffee here and charge £2.50 for it too. It was far too watery. I could have went to spoons and got unlimited freshly ground real coffee for less than half the price. The problems didn't end there. "Chef's special" macaroni cheese was totally tasteless and appeared to be lacking a key ingredients, cheese. The burger looked like it was fresh out of rustlers packet. Overpriced and tasteless. Will not be back here again.

Been twice for lunch this week as I'm working near by. Lasagne, chips and a soft drink for less than £10. Soup and a sandwich again with a soft drink just over £5. Very happy with both meals. Great service and a lovely team. Thank you very much to all the staff. Will be back soon i hope

Good pub. But if your face fits you’ll get a song. Been here for hours and people who walk in get songs and you can get nothing. Sad really.

Decent pub. We were on the drink a bit but, I can remember the karaoke and laughs we had here before covid ruined everything. Cheap draft prices as well so definitely a good shout. Not sure about now a days with covid.
