The best restaurants in George St / Harbour Aberdeen City North East Scotland

Really good food. Not from Aberdeen so didn’t know where to go but this was perfect

We were looking for some Christmas Cocktails and something different for a wee girly Christmas catch up in Aberdeen. We were keen to support somewhere independent and not fall into the usual chain restaurants within the city. Good old google turned up with The Lounge Bar & Kitchen and I’m pleased to say we were not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome. The cocktails hit the spot and went down a treat. We could have had 3 course Christmas menu with tea/coffee tablet and shortbread however we opted for the Scottish Tapas/Small Plates option. There were 3 of us and we shared 8 plates in total. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. We were well and truly stuffed with no room left to try the Sweet options so will have to have a return visit. On our visit a couple of the Vegetarian options were unavailable however as none of us were vegetarian this did not affect us. We’ll definitely be returning in the future.

We visited this Costa this afternoon after what had been a long tiresome day hoping to get a nice coffee before our journey home. There were dirty tables and when we asked a member of staff to clean one so we could sit down we got a mouthful of abuse. So we left and went upstairs to the Pret a Manger which was much busier but they had nice clean tables and welcoming staff. Will not be visiting Costa again but would definitely recommend the Pret a Manger if you are visiting the Bon Accord Centre!

Nice place. Good menu. But the service was terrible. We ask for a table to lunch, and the answer, with a grumpy face, was " kitchen closed, too busy" no option, no sorry.

My only complaint is that the music was a bit too loud. Other than that, the staff were super friendly and the food was so good! Sadly their prices are way high like everywhere now.

Close to no toppings on vegetable pizza

Simplemente el mejor filete con todos los adornos que he tenido. De origen local y perfectamente cocido (medio raro) con una salsa cremosa de pimiento, aros de cebolla y un lado extra de cebollas fritas con jugosos tomates dulces y champiñones. Tradicional y como me gusta. Regado con una botella de Merlot en un entorno muy atractivo. ¡Volveré! !

Un aparente altercado entre un empleado y el gerente frente a la entrada lateral lo convirtió en una mala experiencia. El gerente se vistió un poco descuidado lo que me lleva a creer que esto es un hecho común con la dotación de personal. Evite este lugar.

I asked for classic chicken in lemon sauce and was very happy nice food especially as I asked fir something off menu very helpful Thanks

Tuna 6" meal. It fills a gap but it's nothing special

As mentioned above, Sopranos bar didn't stock vodka or cider. Pretty basic requirements for any bar. Having said that, the Chablis that my friend and I had was excellent. Pretty simple remedies to stop this bar become a laughing stock/ place to avoid.

Great food don't be fooled by the outdated signs and decor 😋 probably one of the better chinese take aways in Aberdeen highly recommended most definitely 👌

Used to love this place but has gone down hill. Food is utterly rank if you like sitting on the toilet for 3 hours eat here.

The nicest, kindest people work here. My son and I are very happy. It was nice from the moment we entered the hotel because we were greeted by nice gentlemen and one little gentleman, helpful with suitcases, bags, took us to the door of the room, explaining everything on the way. The lady who asked me and my son the next day if we were comfortable or overcame if the room suits us. It makes you want to come back here!!!
