Best pub in Aberdeen , super friendly staff and the drinks are fantastic. Great selection to choose from wether it’s whisky or a nice Guinness.

As it is named, the firepit, you expect some decent Meat from a bbq to be served. No steaks, but a good burger can solve the problem, so their best "the smoke and soul", Meat served on a soft role, clearly not from a bbq fire , not a piece of salad , onion or tomaten, but i must admit crispy Fries. As that is their best seller, then the expectations of clients are low. Next time it is back to the old Brown pub with the traditional pub meals.

This place was amazing me and my partner loved the food and the cocktails were absolutely to die for! Also a big shout out to Josh W he was so helpful and was happy to reccomend some cocktails to us along with telling us how to make them as my partner really enjoyed the bubble gum daiquiri! The staff were amazing and we had the best time! We will be back again.

Me and my partner went to Franky and Benny's for breakfast (as we usually do on a Sunday) to find the menu had changed. The Breakfast wraps had been removed, which in my opinion is the only thing worth having. The new 'brunch' menu was underwhelming. The staff couldn't be less interested and the service was extremely slow even though there wasn't many people in the restaurant. We both ordered the NYC breakfast for £11.45. I can't eat eggs so asked for them to be removed, I wasn't offered an alternative. There was no bacon left so they substituted for a second patty. I asked for the chilli sauce that they usually serve and the man didn't understand and said 'We don't do that, we only have the sauces on the table' which is not true as I had the chilli sauce with the wrap each time. My partner asked for the breakfast upgrade to make it a large, we both had the same thing on our plate (apart from his had eggs). They still had the cheek to try charge us £14.95 for his breakfast, which we refused and it was amended. The reasoning was 'the kitchen got confused as we had no bacon'. Which is a joke. I have attached a photo on my breakfast for £11.45 which was an abomination. I wouldn't even have paid £7 for it given the choice. We definitely will NOT be returning.
