I would not recommend this takeaway because of the mess outside and inside this takeaway.

Laughing everyone’s saying it’s good… they legit use Asda essentials chips:-))) witnessed it with me own eyes. Chicken is frozen and not edible. Lucky I didn’t get food poisoning. First and last time.

Beautiful food. This takeaway never disappoints. The owner is always so friendly and will chat to all his customers, and the front of the shop has a real charm to it. You don’t get Chinese quite like it in Aberdeen. Very authentic, full of flavour, and they give you proper, thick bits of beef instead of the tiny crispy stuff that’s more batter than meat at other takeaways. They even knock it out of the park with their European dishes. I’d recommend trying their hoisin duck pizza. And their Apple fritters! Never seen this before, now it’s a staple to my order. They’re unreal. By far one the best Chinese takeaways you can find in Aberdeen!

Food is absolutely amazing, huge portions and well worth the money. And very quick delivery.

The food was rubbery and the hygiene standards were very low . For such price you might as well get McDonald’s or Burger King . It’s completely not worth it , don’t waste your money here. The store also looks dodgy . I won’t recommend this place

We ordered takeaway on a foul night, the guy was lovely. Huge amounts of excellent food - then he came back with a side order that had been forgotten ( we had concluded they'd doubled one of the main dishes instead! ). Heartily recommended.

Some of the funniest and best humored staff. Really lovely, i'll have to try more of the menu. They gave me a free bottle of juice which made my day. Food was enjoyed by all.

The food was super delicious and the prices were very reasonable. This restaurant is very underrated I would say. If anyone likes spicy food like me i would suggest you to have their Malaysia style fried rice with extra spicy and chilli oil sauce. Also they gave a 10% student discount.

The owner founded this shop in 1995 and has kept true to their traditional Cantonese roots. Despite their rundown storefront appearance, I highly recommend this is your place to go to in Aberdeen! Genuine Hong Kong Chinese owner! Very generous portion sizes to suit the north of the United Kingdom’s tastes. On par with Canton King’s sizes in Sheffield, England. The taste is a tad better than generic compared to the standard in London Chinese takeaways however, the portion size is why would you buy from here. Definitely come here if you want a decent Chinese and to be absolutely full for value for your money!

Overall wonderful experience. The people are extremely friendly and take all necessary COVID precautions. Food was warm and delicious, and we even received a free drink on the side. Will come again. :)

First time in ages I've been to Golden China. All Covid procedures in place. The food was hot, tasty and at a good price. I'll definitely be back!

It's a very reasonable food stop if you are looking for Asian food varieties. The chef understand what you need and cooks accordingly. I simply love the spicy chicken 🐔 fried rice. Prices are competitive and reasonable too. Give it a try and you will not regret. Great job team. Cheers 🥂

Golden China is a superb takeaway, the food is very very tasty. The owner is extremely friendly and polite on the phone. Delivery was on time. Will definitely use Golden China from now on as other Chinese takeaway are just not up to the same standard as the Golden China.

I have seen many negative reviews about this place, and I was thinking how is it possible... I guess people likes different things or something. About 3 years ago we have moved next to this take away shop, to be honest for the first year of us living there, the overall appearance of the place wasn't very welcoming until a friend from the same course as me recommended their food, so we decided to give it a go. I HAVE TO SAY THAT, the satay chicken is THE BEST I have ever tried. Since we have tried their food for the first time we are not eating any other Asian food anywhere else. The people are nice, the owner always very talkative and polite, always smiling. We have never had any problems with the food there (okay maybe once they made it too spicy but this happens). We are usually going for our favorites, but so far we have tried chicken balls in butter, honey chili chicken, spicy dry pepper chicken, chicken satay, and egg fried rice. We love this place, prices are good, just like in any other Chinese Take Away in Aberdeen. Even now when we have moved out from Froghall we always come back there for food.

Firstly the order took 1 and a half to arrive which was quite disappointing. The rice was okay, would not buy the runs again as basically no meat on them and virtually inedible. The salt and pepper chicken and spicy chilli chicken were born great quality chicken and the duck was satisfactory. The sauces however were not good and congealed. Also the chips were hard. The drive was nice enough to offer a small discount but probably would not order again unless getting the chicken.

They are over an hour late, lady is rude, so we asked for discount or to speak to a manager, the unprofessional lady hung up. She could have at least gave us free prawn crackers but as our order was £20 instead of £24 to qualify for prawn crackers, she said no!!! Over an hour and still no Meal. I would never go here again, disappointed is not the word

En primer lugar, he cocinado durante más de 50 años, pero escuchando todos los anuncios de comida para llevar y el bloqueo, pensamos que vamos a intentarlo. la carne en salsa de frijoles negros era, los trozos de carne que sobraron el perro no se comería, en cuanto a la salsa bisto !!!, el arroz frito, terrible, el pollo en salsa de champiñones, una lata de sopa hubiera sido mejor y ahora vayamos a las papas fritas, que nunca haría, pero mi otra mitad hizo el pedido, algo que encontrarías en Union Street un domingo por la mañana, después de la noche anterior, después de las gaviotas. Terminamos con ellos. Somos afortunados de haber viajado a muchas partes del mundo y lo siento, no, no lo siento, no cociné esta basura, esto tiene que haber sido lo peor por parte del Sr. y la Sra. Nunca otra vez.

The meal we had last night was not good the chicken balls were burnt and the chicken inside was hard so they went in the bin the sweet and sour sauce had a weard smell and funny colour the chicken curry was ok the rice was good the only thing that was good was the honey chilli chicken won’t be going there again

Acabo de ordenar desde aquí y cuando abrí mi comida noté que había un poco de metal con las papas fritas, así que le devolví la llamada y me ofrecieron un reembolso por una comida gratis la siguiente vez que colgó, así que llamaron y dijeron de qué color es el metal que estaba en las fichas, así que les dije y un chico de fondo gritó que debía de ser esa salchicha gigante ahora, cómo sabrían que era la gente que llamaba si era una señora la que llamaba para pedirlo y una ¡Otra persona que llama para quejarse de la comida obviamente planeada! Comida asquerosa y repugnante que tenían metal en su comida y no verificaron

Entramos en una porción de papas fritas y arroz frito con pollo. El personal siempre es bueno y servicial. Se ve mal desde fuera, pero la comida también es muy buena. Buena porción de tamaño para el dinero. Vale la pena una visita.

Chicken fried Rice and chips for me, noodles and egg fried Rice with curry sauce for my wife. Nice and hot. Delivered within 30 mins.

Excellent food with very reasonable prices. Don't be put off by the look of the front of the shop,the owners have spent the money on the kitchen rather than the decore. My favourite Chinese takeaway in Aberdeen.

Always go here for my Chinese takeaway even though I live the other side of town. Always love the Chicken Fried Rice and chips. My wife Curry sauce, noodles, egg fried rice and chips. Aleays good.

We have been using this Chinese for years, they did seem to have a bit of a rough patch back in October where the food wasn't to the usual standards but I'm glad to say they seem to be back and even better than before. The beef in oyster sauce is amazing, our son will only have the chicken curry as he says it's amazing. The spicy chopped pork pieces are also worth trying! Very reasonably priced, delivery is usually quick unless you order at peak times then it can take up to an hour.

We really love this Chinese, it's nothing to look at if you go there, it's run down in much need of modernising. Often you find the run down ones the best.. that's def the case here. Food is lovely, def the best honey chilli chicken in Aberdeen. Only let down is the curry sauce is very salty. They've changed the recipe. Didn't used to be this bad!

Best cheap Chinese in town the guy behind the counter is like Yoda

Ordered honey chilli chicken, chicken chow mein, chips, fried rice & bbq ribs. Was all very tasty, fresh & decent portions. Best Chinese I've had in Aberdeen - will be my regular now.

We had a delicious chinese carryout last night from Golden China. Service and food great. One small criticism was the sweet and sour sauce was quite runny otherwise perfect. Would highly recommend.

Food was dry and didn't have much flavour to it. The place looks like the kind of place you would never even think of eating from. Never going to use this Chinese again, nothing good to say about it.

Ordered a sweet and sour pork in batter sauce seperate and chips. Got home to find sausage in batter, called to complain and was informed that was their pork in batter due to having a lot of young and elderly people ordering this dish they chop the pork up. It was basically smart price pork sausage meet rolled into balls then deep fried in batter. Disgusting mush went straight in the bin. Called to say I was dissapointed and won't be back. Shame it used to be good years ago but now under new ownership

best chinese food in Aberdeen!!!!

Was recently driving past the froghall area, and spotted an old childhood eatery which I had been to years before, decided to get the tea for the family, When I entered I was shocked, the decor hasn't changed since 1993, I also noticed a big freezer next to the building, where the food was kept, we had chicken balls, chicken Maryland, and spare ribs, I'm an honest person so I hate to give a negative review, the food was tasty enough, but for the near 30 quid which included paying for sauce, it was basically bought from a supermarket and cooked, if you don't mind that, then go for it, afraid to say it needs a good clean as well, it's stuck in a time warp,

Despite the grotty ghetto exterior this Chinese take-away is a diamound in the rough that is Froghall. The service is always fantastic and prompt and your order is received very quickly but with no sacrifice in the quality. From the different dishes I've tried I can honestly say it's the best Chinese take-away I've ordered from. The main front desk worker is a delight to order from and a particular plus of ordering from here. Students get ten percent off too!

Food is great. Awesome. Should try atleast once. And address is number 9. Not, number 7.
