Great service and amazing food. Would recommend the salt and chilli chicken! Front of house staff friendly and polite. Sign taped to front of door saying closed on Tuesdays, take this into account when next ordering! Would go back

Rated 1 star overall as I tried calling them and their website states that they are open. Called 3 times in a row and there was no answer . It then gave the busy tone so thought maybe someone else had got through so tried 5 minutes later only to find they still weren't answering their phone. Kept trying and was either engaged or no answer at all. Got fed up waiting in the end and went elsewhere. Ridiculous!!

We ordered takeaway as we are staying at a hotel about 15 min away and they don't deliver. The food was ready a few minutes after I arrived for pick up. I had requested a couple of dietary changes too. The food was hot and tasty, all dietary changes had been done Happy diners :-) good food.

First time customers and will definitely be back. Ordered on their website which was easy to navigate and good choice. I arrived 10mins later and was ready after just a few minutes. Polite staff on the counter despite it appearing busy in the waiting area which is no surprise for a Friday night. All food was roasting hot by the time I got home and each dish was delicious. Only shame really was no prawn crackers included but next time we will order a bag as a they do make a meal.

Ordered a Chinese for 3 people yesterday at 1640 and was delivered at 5pm. I stay in Peterculter. Incredible service and the food was amazing. Thank you so much for a great experience 🥰

This is take out only. Very very quick prep time from moment of ordering to it being ready for collection. For receiving a delivery it can take a lot longer than expected. I suggest driving to collect by the time you place your order you could start driving and for me it's always been ready within 15-20 minutes of ordering and driving over. The food is always piping hot from my experience and has its own flavors. Huge menu selection. Food I've ordered many times and always enjoy is the won ton soup Chicken fried rice Fried rice Pad thai Shredded sweet chicken Banana fritters - don't recommend as they become very soggy. Overall a reliable takeaway when you're in a pinch prices are normal for this time of the economy. Will always answer their phone line Place inside smells clean and organized For pick up there's usually some parking spots on the street outside

We ordered sweet sour chicken fired rice chips Luke warm at best chips like a brick and some not even cooked no sauce for the sweet sour asked for a refund no get 50% off next time we go back we will never go back Please avoid minus 1 star rating

Don't think I'll be ordering from here again in a hurry. The chips and the prawns on toast needed the air fryer when I received it as there was no crisp to it whatsoever just soft. The prawn curry was nice but due to the fact I had to finish off cooking the other bits I ordered it's not getting more than 3 stars.

Our first takeaway from this establishment and the last. Totally bland with no Chinese or Thai flavours whatsoever - worst we’ve ever had. Really unfortunate but pretty obvious it was going to be terrible as it was ready in 5 minutes. The Thai curry had none of the tastes / flavours associated with what’s normal and the Chicken in Black Bean sauce was just plain cooked chicken with a few vegetables and a smattering of sauce. We ate it as we were hungry but we know we could do better ourselves using bought sauce packets from Sainsburys (or wherever) and giving it time to gain flavour. Never again. A real shame as it’s convenient.

Food was piping hot, the lady at the counter was very nice, and the environment seemed very clean! Will be coming back!

Getting worse and worse i used to use them a lot , but after my order was delivered last nigh never again ,we ordered t meals one chicken one beef , both were chicken when we opened them , tried to call no one answered so i emailed them still had no reply

The food looked and tasted good....little did we know the surprise in store for us the next day. My partner and I have been running backwards and forwards to the toilet, even my baby's bum has exploded, it's just awful. I stupidly decided I was feeling better after 3 toilet sessions and went to join friends for a run. Big mistake, ended up getting serious stomach spasms on the drive home, actually dinged the car 😓...luckily no major accidents but definitely a serious case of food poisoning. I've never had food poisoning before but it is grim, I really really hope never again. Do not recommend.

Really wish they’d read the special instructions b4 cooking!! Special needs adult requirements are simple yet every time I order for him it’s delivered late and wrong!! Then have to call to resend which takes another hour plus! Ridiculous service

Went here when visiting family over Christmas , I must say this was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had ! Absolutely dreadful. The price and the quality of food doesn’t add up as the quality of meats were terrible as were sides. Very disappointed!

Food was rubbish! One of the worst Chinese I have ever had! Noodles had no sauce and just bits of tasteless tough beef! Kung po chicken had jalepeno peppers in!

Very disappointing Chinese last night….4 of the 5 dishes had no taste and were very bland.

We have used Happy Auntie many times and the trend seems to be to buy your food at the weekend , the staff on during the week dont seem to give a damn whether the food is cooked properly , or if its even delivered the day you order it . we has one instance when we ordered at 9-30 pm and the food didnt even arrive and no call to say it wasnt coming , I sent an email to them and was told it was ordered to late even though they close at 11pm i was not happy but they did nothing to rectify the situation just returned the money . Moral of the story dont order in the week and done order after *pm if you want it the same day , The food is amazing though

Food is great , but service took 2 hours to arrive with food and no apology when I phoned to see where my order was , they said they didn't have it, but I got charged and a confirmation email .

Contactless delivery woes and horrendous service - Order left at front door, no acknowledgement of receipt but they feels thats a justified delivery apparently. Phoned to complain that £4 delivery ontop of the order for inedible cold food discovered at the door isn't acceptable. Obviously a quick knock on the door and scarpered, no thought into actually making sure the order was received. Working doorbell not used. God help you if your hard of hearing or watching tv waiting for a good old fashioned delivery where they actually make sure you get it. I could understand a genuine mistake and the driver holds their hands up but when it turns into an argument rather than an apology and remedy, then it reflects on the business. I hope when they have supplier deliveries they dump it at the door and hope for the best and Happy Auntie can see the point of view of the customer. Currently on my way to the chinese with the food for my refund.

Food is generally OK but the salt and chilli chips are awful! They were still frozen in the middle and no salt or chilli throughout the chips just a small amount of onion. Really disappointed, won't be going back.

Superb service from the married couple who are delivery drivers . They went beyond what was expected tonight and I thank them for this. The meal as usual was fantastic but tonight secondary to the service 👏

AW WELL HOW GLAD I SAVED MYSELF £30 WHEN OUR ORDER DIDN’T ARRIVE LAST SATURDAY. I EMAILED ON A FEW OCCASIONS BUT I HAVEN’T HAD A REPLY ASKING THEM TO EXPLAIN WHY AT 10:30 AT NIGHT WE WERE STILL WAITING. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN!!!!!

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Chinese food was in my view probably the worst I have ever had. Tasteless. No flavour at all. Tepid. No free “extra” - eg Prawn Crackers (as offered by many other similar outlets). Will never order from there again. Would definitely NOT recommend.

The Peking Duck was burnt at the edges and impossible to eat. The sauce was tasteless and so watery that it ran off the pancake. The two main dishes were very similar butbarely distinguishable one from the other, again with watery sauce. The soft fried noodles were delicious, though. Luckily, we were able to return the duck and were given a refund, but the meal was really disappointing and didn’t live up to our hopes and expectations.

Rice was really dry and I ordered chicken and ended up with prawns which is the third time this has happened

We ordered a delivery from the Happy Auntie tonight which was delivered within 20 minutes of placing our order. Our order of 2 chicken and sweet corn soup was delivered piping hot and delicious with plenty tender chicken. My husband ordered Pork Szechwan which was packed with pork in a lightly spiced sauce with lots of vegetables. I ordered Chicken Kon Po which I requested extra spicy. It didn’t disappoint! Lots of tender chicken, cashew nuts and vegetables in a delicious spicy sauce with extra chillis. We both enjoyed our meals very much! Well done all at Happy Auntie!

Decent food. However made an order last night and they got One item wrong. When we phoned them to advised them of the wrong order they claimed we were wrong and Weren’t gonna do anything about it. Pretty disappointing for the sake of a mere £6. Wont go back

Duck= very dry Shredded chilli beef = worst I’ve ever eaten Sweet-and-sour chicken = tasted of nothing Spring rolls = best part of the meal Noodles = very oily Never again will I set place in there. £40 down the drain

Después de 10 minutos por teléfono, y una tía feliz tratando de evitar darme un reembolso, finalmente acordaron entregar un reembolso. Regresé la comida en este punto. Todavía me cobraron 5 por la entrega y solo me reembolsaron el costo de la comida 9. No estoy de acuerdo con solo reembolsar el costo de la comida y cobrarme por entregar la comida incorrecta.

Good food, served from a nice new shop

Ever since Happy Auntie opened in Cults we have had fantastic food,really top quality! Last night however was VERY disappointing... we phoned in our order as usual,went to collect & they’d forgotten to put it through! I always have king prawn Cantonese style and it’s delicious.. not last night though. Shrivelled/hard prawns..& bits of shell to crunch through ..Horrible!!! Back to Yummy House for us .

We have visited this place on several occasions, I struggle with Chinese food I often get a horrible impact after eating it from the salt content but I have never had it here. The food has always been delicious and we have tried a few dishes on the menu. Sadly we are leaving the area and moving elsewhere in Aberdeen, the fact that we won’t be near happy auntie (formerly happy uncle) is the saddest part of our move, we will come back though!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Chicken and sweetcorn soup almost inedible due to the massive amount of salt in it. Similarly with chow mein. Chef's here are either terrible or totally untrained, either way, terrible meal - becoming very common with Chinese, think they like our money more than they do their food - utterly shocking...

Awesome food and very friendly. It's a bit of a trek for where I live, but if I'm passing, always worth a stop.

Well, I tried this place again but sadly, once again, profit before service it appears. The chilli beef was actually honey chilli beef - not as requested. The other dishes, sadly, were nothing approaching the quality we had from the Happy Auntie. So, what this place has done, has increased prices by £2 per dish and actually reduced the quality, dramatically. This, sadly, seems the norm now across Chinese eateries in Aberdeen, it appears greed has set in to offset losses at the casinos. It's time now to start buying our own stuff from the Chinese supermarket at Causewayend and start making our own food, which undoubtedly will be fresher, tastier and a whole lot cheaper....

We got a takeaway at the weekend and I have to say that most the food was good however the massaman curry was terrible! The chicken had a really weird almost raw texture to it but it was cooked, it was full of veg that doesn’t belong in a massaman curry but had no potato that usually is in it! The sauce tasted so bad I actually removed the food from my mouth! I will buy from here again but will steer well clear of the massaman!

We used to eat here occasionally when it was Happy Uncle but the food wasn't great neither was the service. Now the take away is bright and friendly, the menu extensive and the quality a million times better. Much nicer experience overall now and doesn't leave you feeling stodgy!

It's was OK and would order again

Brilliant food, great service. Couldn’t ask for more. Vegetable curry is the best I’ve ever had. Mixture of different veg (peppers, courgette etc) which is very different from most takeaways that think a vegetarian option should be mushrooms, onions and bean sprouts. Chow mien, sweet n sour Cantonese also recommended by my friends.

Been here a few times since change of ownership with mixed results, but tonight was much better. Starters very good, although chicken & sweetcorn soup was far too gloopy/msg for me. Mains (satay/chow mein/fried rice) were all excellent. We're thinking a change of chef cos this place is much better than before...great meal, thank you.

Food ready within 15 minutes from the time I’ve ordered fresh and tasty. 😋 staff was super friendly... I’ve tried many places in Aberdeen and this was definitely the best. It’s not the cheapest you can get out there but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!

El ajetreado día se detuvo para recoger pollo kon po con arroz al vapor en el camino a casa. Peor kon po nunca! La salsa tenía poco sabor, la salsa era muy fina y el pollo estaba duro como si se hubiera calentado. No es un parche en el tío feliz. Aunque vivo localmente será Golden Crown o Wok Wok de ahora en adelante.

Always order sweet & sour Cantonese style and noodles, always large portions and piping hot, well worth the extra £££, quick delivery always and very polite delivery drivers

We always buy food from there, always tasty but this Saturday I was very disappointed. My Singapore noodles we from the bottom of the wok, for nearly £8. I was not impressed at. all

Este pequeño restaurante para llevar nos sirvió la comida que esperaríamos de un restaurante chino para llevar. Fue agradable, pero nada especial, pero todo fue agradable. Tiene un buen precio, y obtienes lo que pagas aquí. Es un chino decente llevar. Pedimos el pollo al limón, el chile y la miel de cerdo y arroz frito especial. Nos sorprendió gratamente el arroz frito, ya que contenía trozos grandes de cada carne, algo a lo que no estamos acostumbrados, y ¡algo que a mi hijo le encantaba! ! El caballero en el mostrador era encantador y educado y nos permitió el tiempo de elegir nuestras opciones y nos sirvió con una sonrisa. Sin duda volveremos.

Brilliant to see the the Happy Aunty take on where the Happy Uncle takeaway was at Cults. Totally modern refurb with open kitchen and amazing new menu.

Yesterday we had the best Chinese takeaway ever- brought in for a large family get together. Never tasted such good Chinese food, no grease, fatty meat 🍖 just excellent food.

Hizo un pedido por teléfono para varios platos, incluyendo 2 pollo Kon Po sin masa en pollo. Mujer en el teléfono me pidió que sostuviera dos veces, me repitió y mi orden volvió a mí y confirmé. Mi marido recogió el pedido y, una vez en casa, ambos platos de Kon Po tenían masa de pollo. ¿Es realmente tan difícil hacer una orden pequeña correcta? ? ¡Devuelve el tío feliz! ! ! !

Normalmente me encanta Shredded Chilli Beef y noddles, y no recuerdo tener uno de estos platos que no me gustaron. . . Hasta hoy. Desagradable salsa líquida, carne no estaba crujiente en absoluto, sabía slimey y sin sabor. Evitará a toda costa en el futuro - Royal China en Peterculter muy superior. (Los fideos de Singapur no fueron terribles, pero no excelentes)

Tenía muchas ganas de una comida familiar para llevar, era un domingo por la noche y traté de pedir sushi para comenzar vendieron principalmente de pescado fresco, que pensé que era bueno, el sushi que conseguimos era muy agradable, las sopas y platos principales estaban sabrosos no estoy seguro sobre el vegi satay, sin embargo, pensé que en general era mucho mejor que el tío feliz, pero era un poco caro

Tengo que subrayar que el pollo se llamaba y sabía como cualquier cosa menos pollo, colocamos un pedido por teléfono y prepago iro 55, sólo para el conductor de entrega para tratar de cargar el costo de las comidas DOS VECES. Buen intento y NO TIP intercambio como consecuencia! La primera y la última vez en Happy Auntie para nosotros. ¿Por qué estos tipos de tomas NO PUEDEN LICENCIARSE SOLAMENTE para utilizar carne de vacuno y pollo de calidad certificada de BRITISH Farms o cerrarse?

Just had a green curry with rice and noodles. It really was excellent and I would highly recommend this Chinese/ Thai takeaway.

thought i would try as newly opened in Cults across the road from my mothers. ordered sweet and sour chicken dish and rice/ the chicken pieces were like burnt popcorn. no chicken only batter The vegtables were large pieces of onion, i took it back and they then prodoced the same dish with chunks of diced chicken cubes without any batter in a watered down sauce, £9,60, will not be going back !!!!!!!!

After a long period of unannounced closure Happy Auntie opened in the old premises oh Happy Uncle. The place gas benefited from extensive make over.

Now re-named the Happy Auntie. It's been very, very busy since opening but tonight we finally managed a home delivery. We had seaweed ((excellent, and we loved the cashews but they're not marked up on your menu as nuts(didn't bother us) but maybe you need...

Delicious food, I had Singapore noodle , Stir Fried mixed seafood ho fan and king prawn tempura roll (sushi) and the dessert bañan filter . I will be back regularly

First visit to the newly opened Happy Auntie. Our Chicken and sweetcorn soup and crispy spring rolls were delicious! We ordered Szechwan Chicken and Szechwan Pork both with rice. We received a Szechwan Chicken and a Szechwan KING PRAWN! Both dishes contained lots of chicken/prawns but were bland and lacking flavour. No where close to being as nice as Happy Uncle, and with a bill of £26 it’s much more expensive. Very disappointed.

Happy uncle should read happy customers, we have had take away dinners from this place for years and never been...
