Lounge is compact but in line with the airport size. When I visited there were plenty of tables and seats open. Large breakfast spread with lots of juice and caffeine options. Didn't partake in any alcohol but they had it all. Bathrooms were spotless.
Above all staff were my favourite part. I was struggling with a sick fussy baby and they were so helpful in offering highchair, and separate private area. The perfect way to relax before a long travel day.
Nicest Italian in the town... we 💜 mi amore! The wife loves the mussels... and they deliver now too, which is real handy.
Staff are always lovely to us, always have been. The toilets are super clean too - just thought id add that in!
We come here often for lunch but have never tried the breakfast and it did not disappoint!! It’s always really tough to get in, we were in just after 9am and was already heaving so be prepared to wait for a table.
However staff are always so hard working and so try to serve as fast as they can so it really does depend on time of day.
£26 for 2 of us, food was delicious- pancakes were clearly straight of the pan with some delicious rhubarb, fruit and vanilla cream, just outstanding.
Lots of variety, best quality food and great place for breakfast. Understandable why it’s always so busy!
This restaurant is wonderful!!! The food is amazing and the staff are incredibly warm, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere gave us an evening to remember and we loved our time there!!
Stopped in this afternoon for lunch, we were received warmly and promptly had our order taken. The wine was of great quality, we had the pizza and pasta arrabiata with polenta chips which were all delicious. Thoroughly recommend this place. Simple and delicious Italian food and warm, courteous staff.
Not been for a while but was confident they would cater for my food intolerances as they have in the past. I'd ordered a vegetable korma to be made with coconut milk & no dairy. I was very specific on this. However, going by how I reacted a short time later it obviously had dairy in it. Won't be back.
Husband had chicken tikka masala & he wasn't right either, though not as bad as myself.
Care should be taken for those of us with intolerances or allergies. Sadly this was not the case.

I visited this restaurant during lunch (served from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM) but it also open during the evening (5:00 PM to 10:30 PM). The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, with a strong family-oriented feel. The walls, painted white with a cave-like aesthetic, give off an old-world Italian charm, which adds to the unique ambiance. There are many photos on display, which I assume are of the owners or people involved in the restaurant’s journey—a nice personal touch.
The restaurant is quite lively and bustling, making it clear that it’s a popular spot despite being slightly hidden. Given how busy it gets, I highly recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.
Now, onto the food—it was outstanding! The lunch pricing is fantastic for the portion sizes, with two courses for ≈£13 and three for ≈£15. The starters were just the right size—not too filling but a perfect prelude to the main course. My carbonara was absolutely delicious, possibly the best I’ve had in Aberdeen. The tiramisu was on the smaller side, but considering how satisfying the starter and main were, it still felt like a great way to finish the meal.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, regularly checking in with guests to make sure they were happy with their food. Their warm and welcoming approach really added to the overall experience.
A couple of small areas for improvement: while the restaurant is generally clean, attention to detail in hidden spots could make it even better. For instance, the radiators had noticeable dust inside, and some table covers showed slight wear and tear. However, the tables themselves were clean, and the menus were in good condition. The ladies’ restroom was modern and well-maintained, which was great to see.
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be returning. The atmosphere, food, and service make this a fantastic dining spot!
