Best service, best food and coffee and best ambience for breakfast/brunch in Aberdeen easily.

Busy little place, lots of lovely fresh food and cakes. Witnessed the male Server rubbing his ear then proceeded to put same hand into jar of marshmallows to put into cup of hot chocolate. 😣

Delicious breakfast burrito, and extremely friendly service.

The food is absolutely fantastic, super delicious and looks amazing. The service could be better though. The cafe is in excellent location among all the hi end businesses, and can get very busy with regular customers, so seems like not much effort goes into being kind and hospitable to a one off customer visiting for a more leisurely purpose than a quick work lunch.

Fuimos y nos sentamos allí de todos modos y el camarero perdió un poco la calma, aceptando a regañadientes nuestra mudanza; mi amigo se molestó. Se calmó y explicamos por qué queríamos mudarnos (por una parte no hay dónde colgar un abrigo en la barra). No tengo duda de que es un reto gestionar colas y asignación de mesas en un café pequeño y ocupado, pero la experiencia fue desconcertante e innecesaria en realidad. ¿Cuál es la gran cosa acerca de moverse 15 pies a través de un café para cambiar de mesa?

What a great spot! Busy place, so I had to wait for a table. But they were efficient and took my order whilst I waited. Coffee was tasty as was my breakfast burrito packed with all sorts of delicious things. My only complaint was their late opening on the Saturday which stopped me returning.

The best place we've visited in Aberdeen so far. Amazing food, great service and a lovely atmosphere! Looking forward to coming back!

The food was fantastic, the presentation and taste was delicious. All dishes were ready within an appropriate time range for a busy Saturday. Reasonable prices for a tea/coffee and served in a large cup. The chai latte was spiced and served hot and creamy, exactly what you want! Overall eating experience was ace. However, no obvious indication in a clear signage of the seating routine and queuing. Upon entering I was met with a bubbly busy cafe, but landed myself in one of the many queues, where other customers were confused and agitated on who was first in line. Additionally it was unclear if the seating was 'seat yourself' or if an employee would seat you. I had the luck of finding out that the employee's perfer to seat customers themselves, by the person at the till raising their voice at me to not sit at a table, in front of everyone in the cafe. Completely unprofessional and off putting. At that point I was keen to find somewhere else to eat brunch. The menu was the only thing that made me stay, and fortunately it was worth it! Also could you please add table numbers so when told to be seated at a specific table the customer can easily identify for example when you say sit at table "5".

The pistachio and raspberry baked cheesecake slice I had after was yummy too. Hoping to come back another day to try the breakfast. Would love if they were open on Sundays!

If in Aberdeen do visit the Parz, an excellent menu with indoor and outside seating.

Primera visita a un lugar muy establecido y muy popular para el almuerzo. El servicio fue muy rápido, especialmente durante un servicio de almuerzo ocupado. Tomamos una mesa atrás, afuera. También hay mesas en la parte delantera al aire libre. La comida era hermosa, fresca, sustancial y a un precio razonable.

Decided to get breakfast here before an appointment nearby. It's clearly a popular place as there was a queue waiting outside before it opened at 9.00am. I opted for the porridge and it was delicious - the granola on top is one of the nicest I've tasted. Prompt and friendly service despite it being busy.

Great freshly made food and ambience due to which it is very popular and often very busy. It would benefit from cue management system or at least notification of busy times.

Really nice selection of foods cols and hot for lunch. One of my favourite places for lunch at work. There are salads and sandwiches or paninins and quiche if you want hot food. The pies are really nice too.

Hands down my favourite place to visit and the first place I think of when someone asks for a cafe recommendation!! The food is incredible, a firm breakfast favourite in our household, but be aware especially on the weekends you will need to queue if you want to sit in. Favourites in our house are: the Smashed Avo, breakfast rolls and the Parx Breakfast Burrito. Lunch is also great, wonderful salads, roasties and soup. It is also dog friendly which is always a win in my eyes!! My only wish is that they were also open Sundays and had a second cafe or got bigger! We love it here!!

Loved my Avacado on toast with poached egg and bacon. So much, so that I came back to get lunch for my fiancé and myself because he was recovering from an operation at the Albyn hospital. I had a chicken poke bowl. It was an amazing burst of flavours that I would highly recommend. The all-day Burrito was amazing also. I pinched a bite because it looked so good and it was.👌😉

Small, but great food, good service

We queued for a while before being seated.. but I can assure you it was well worth the wait. The cafe is so tastefully decorated and whilst we queued, the amount of people coming in and out for take-away orders showed that this was definitely a popular place to eat. We enjoyed the breakfast burrito, which was amazing! Couldn’t recommend it enough… it was so filling too. All of the staff were really friendly and I highly recommend this cafe.

Had the special of the day, brisket toasted sandwich with gravy side dipping pot, will definitely be going back

There is special magic in this general location, it's good, and it follows the special people who work here 😙🌿🫒💦🌕. My biggest upset is when something isn't done right, because those doing it, don't care ... but I can assure you that this is a special place, it reassures me that all the bright shining stars haven't left the UK quite yet. A japanese visitor would be pleased with the quality, and standards of this beautiful inspirational space... and I know japan is used to a culture of high standards, and taking ownership of every single little thing done in the service of others.... and I can truly say that the magical team here, bring this to every place they go.

10/10 - amazing cafe with friendly staff, great coffee and a wide range of GF/VE options. Somehow lived in Aberdeen for 10 years without knowing it was a few streets away from me! Only thing I'd suggest is perhaps some more privacy between each of the tables and especially the ones beside the queuing area - more greenery on the glass screens maybe?

Woah! This is absolutely fantastic and a gem of Aberdeen. Parx set the bar VERY high as our first visit in Aberdeen. Great atmosphere, lovely and really friendly staff and the food is DELICIOUS. Gluten free options available, I highly recommend the breakfast burrito. Price wise it's great (especially if you're from Edinburgh!) Coffee was delicious...just 10/10 for everything! Keep in mind it's popular so there is likely to be a wait!

Food is really good and there are so many vegetarian options. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but other than that I would recommend

What a find! Parked in the street for an appointment at the Albyn Hospital opposite and walked past on our way. Once out we checked the cafe out, and so glad we did. Super interesting menu so we decided to wait for a free table. The place was buzzing, but it was a little over ten minutes and we were seated. Staff are great, btw. We had Korean Fried Chicken with a super Kimchi coleslaw, proper skin-on chips and brioche buns. An extremely reasonable £9.75 PP, under-priced I thought but I trust the team know their business. The food was a real delight - perfectly balanced spices and flavours. I can see why it is so busy. If you're in the area do make a bee-line for this delightful basement cafe. Be prepared to wait for a table, but trust me it'll be worth it.

In Aberdeen only part of the year.. this is our first choice for coffee and breakfast or lunch. The coffee is very good, food generous and tasty. Selection of produce to buy .. bread, yogurt, eggs and more…Saturdays are incredibly busy, very often no room at the inn!

A cosy cafe with good food and some nice vegan options. The Kuku hash and salads were lovely. Will try more dishes next time. When we went was quite busy with a long queue and a bit chaotic atmosphere though.

I love Parx cafe, firstly the people that work there are wonderful, so accommodating and friendly and I love that after I had been there twice I was greeted by my name each time and now they treat me like a welcome friend. Love it. Secondly but as importantly, the food, I love it, its my home away from home (which is Sydney Australia) fresh, tasty, beautifully presented, healthy, for the most part and obviously delicious. My favourites being the chicken poke bowl, the quiche and the porridge, truly fantastic. Love you guys and will miss you when I return to Sydney :)

Such a busy little cafe with very hard working welcoming staff. The Breakfast Burrito is delicious and coffee always made to perfection.

Visited at lunchtime so knew it would be busy but with nice weather we were able to choose a quiet spot outside (seating at front and back of cafe). Lovely selection of savoury and sweet treats on offer and good quality coffee. Contacted them once home with a query and had a very nice email back from the owner. I recommend a visit here

We’ve been coming to Parx for years. The staff are lovely and friendly. The food is great especially the All day Burrito, yoghurt and granola. Parx also do the best Lattes!

A wonderful breakfast spot in Aberdeen serving great coffee and superb breakfast/brunch options! We enjoyed a loaded bap and burrito. Both tasty, well presented and the perfect start to a day. Top marks!

Lovely little café tucked away in Rubislaw Terrace. Friendly staff and delicious wholesome food and drinks with extremely generous portions!! Came here for breakfast with family and had the pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup, and a mocha with oat milk. Also tried some of the breakfast burrito which was amazing!! The fruit juice had by other members of our group was super fresh and tasty too! Thanks Caitlin who was our waitress that morning!! 😊

Another great visit ! 2nd day in a row today because it was so good ! we had salad / all day breakfast burrito yesterday and Mexican chicken toastie and KFC burger today (Ohh did I mention the home made cinnamon swirl and the banana/pistachio bread ! ) It would be dangerous if I lived in Aberdeen…

I’ve been a longtime follower on Instagram but haven’t had an opportunity to visit. Ate outside at the back, it was a little chilly but we felt sheltered from the wind. Ate an amazing gyro with chicken, halloumi and tater tots. Was a little pricey but the food was super tasty and was a nice little treat. Will come back for more.

Great hidden gem of a Cafe in Aberdeen, best part of being on holiday is the getting to find these types of little unassuming places. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Service was efficient and delightful. Top two of coffee I have had in Aberdeen. It's not massively obvious when walking past but that does not stop it being a very busy little place, clearly popular with the locals!!!

This is an absolute gem of a place. The best breakfast/brunch/lunch in Aberdeen by some distance. Excellent coffee and drinks selection too. Friendly service, relaxed environment, very accommodating for children.

My coworkers have been recommending this place for ages but I only visited today. Now I know I’ve been missing out! The salads I ordered were amazing, probably the only place in the area that serves salads that aren’t smothered in a litre of mayo and have fresh veg in them. Will definitely be back.

We had breakfast, the burrito and the pancakes, both were delicious! Coffee was also very good and would definitely come back here. It's first come first served and it gets busy so arrive in plenty of time before you are hungry. Worth the wait though

Sensational flavours, the kindest staff, feel-good vibes. Very reasonably priced too. The raspberry cheesecake brownie is amazing, thought not quite as good as the cinnamon swirl blondie -which is something I’d happy die for. The all day burrito is one of the few things that fills me up without leaving me feeling bloated. The on/off menu Korean fried chicken is god tier!! So is the katsu curry! I could go on, everything is great! Helen is a fab chef and Kirsty -the owner- a wonderful host.

So my first visit was quite successful, which I can't say about my second time that happened yesterday... ordered avocado tostie. There was no avocado. Stuff offered to redo it, I said it was OK, they offered to reimburse which I also refused. Sounds great so far, no? Later waitress approached me and insisted on reimbursing lack of avocado in toastie, which I finally agreed. Today check my bank account and see, instead of "reimbursed" I was additionally charged..... I mean, I don't think it was intentional, but just this is too much for me you know....

Lovely space for lunch. Was very busy at around 12:15, and waited a while for food (10-15mins). I think it shows that it is a great place, if people keep coming and are willing to wait. Personally, I enjoyed the vibe of the place. Nice to see lots of different drinks available - I love soda folk! Great job! I’ll be back to show my friends and family!

One of the best cafes in Aberdeen. The breakfast burrito and the mojo sauce is unreal. And the cheesecake brownie is really good. Highly recommend!

Staff are incredibly rude and not friendly at all. Food expensive and portions are much smaller than they used to be.

Would give it a zero if I could. Middle aged assistant is really rude and unhelpful. Makes you feel uncomfortable. (Have been on 3/4 times and the same women always has an attitude). Come here if you want attitude. Will never be back and have passed feedback onto Friends and family. HORRIBLE PLACE. Avoid at all costs.

Loved this place. First time eating breakfast in Aberdeen and glad we came across this hidden gem. Met with a friendly lady who recommended the burrito (which was yum) also ordered a scrambled egg roll with 2 hash browns , pancakes, fresh juices & avacado on the menu. Delicious food ! Fast service , fantastic location & clean toilets . And there is parking outside. If I ever visit Aberdeen again I will definitely be eating here :)

Parx has a perfect bit of everything, great atmosphere, delicious food (always fresh and blends of flavours) and very friendly and attentive staff. Have to shout out their fries and raspberry chocolate brownie; top tier! Parx is a regular for me.

Fantastic all day burrito. Good flat white. Place gets very busy during breakfast time. You may need to takeaway or sit outside.

Nice cafe with an interesting menu however the service is really bad and the stuff are rude. Despite visiting the place quite a view times because it is close to my office, the service was always cold and they make you feel like they are doing you a favour. (With a sour face) Whenever you ask something slightly outside the menu (small adjustment) nothing is ever possible like they are preparing a 3 Michelin’s star meal through the back! Simple things like even refilling the water, was a big task for them! (Had to ask 3 times) Absolutely not going back and will spend my money elsewhere. With this approach eventually people will get fed up of the bad service and stop coming.

Cannot recommend the "KFC" burger enough! Phenomenal food, and great service.

Excellent coffee in the west end of Aberdeen! They also do really nice food, although we only had coffee this time. The small outdoor seating area at the front is one of the best places to sit and relax with good coffee.

Busy on a Saturday but for good reason. Excellent quality food and drink. It's a bit small so hard to take children when it's busy but the staff did well to accomodate.

Amazing bacon and egg roll, good size portion and perfectly cooked, will definitely be back to have this again and try other things on the menu. Everything here is worth trying, it's delicious, flavours so well balanced. And still fabulous with amazing specials that are always very tempting.

We were visiting Aberdeen and Parx cafe was recommended by a friend as it is dog friendly. Unfortunately, the female staff member who greeted us was quite rude, unpleasant , judgmental and bigoted. This person was an older local woman with short dirty blonde hair who seemed to be the manager. When we arrived there was one person in front of us. When it was our turn, I asked the woman whether we ordered at the counter or waited for table service- she said there is a queue and that we should go back to the end of the queue. Surprised, I replied there was no queue when we arrived- while we were waiting to be served people had arrived after us- but it was upsetting that she assumed we had pushed in in front of these people. Later, she made other rude comments- when I asked if it was ok to take water from water made available to all customers- she said yes, but don’t take the cup! Why assume that I would take a glass cup ?? When I ordered a takeaway cappuccino, she asked for my first name and from her facial expression it was clear she expected a ‘strange sounding name that was difficult to spell’. It was clear she was making judgment based on our appearance from her own small village bigoted frame of reference. What an absolute unpleasant experience- as for the food, we ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup- pancakes were dry, bacon was far too overdone. The food is overpriced and really not nice. I would avoid- terrible food and terrible service.
