Great coffee and food. Staff bants on point.

Lovely restaurant nearly across the road from our holiday accomodation. Raging we didn't go on the Saturday morning too. Lovely food and the staff were delightful. It is dog friendly which I love BUT not when the dog is a bit on the big side and very barky!!!!

Nice cafe with a good selection of items on the menu. Some parking outside, and also on the street, free at certain times.

The staff were very friendly and the soup was so tasty. Would deff go back.

Came here on Sunday lunchtime. Privaye car park and free customer WiFi - good start. The food was really nice - I had their katsu carrot soup which was good. The staff were excellent, the manageress (blonde witj glasses) was a delight. The price was £11.50 for soup + toasted panini. I would come back again.

I used to love this place, but it's had a big difference. There were dogs, which were nocking down chairs, my food was really good, I have a cheese and ham panini and loved it, one of my parents said the macaroni was just pasta with cheese on top, and she didn't enjoy it. And my other parent said the stovies were watery. So I can't really give more than a 3, but I love the place, it has a good aesthetic to it.

Have come here for lunch a few times, and always had good food with great service from friendly staff. The range of gluten free options makes it very useful when arranging lunches with friends who are gluten intolerant.

Great cafe we have brunch there most Sundays very relaxing, family , & dog friendly. The staff are excellent.

Visited for brunch with family on Saturday morning, the staff were amazing as numbers increased from 8 to 11 at the last minute and they happily moved tables and chairs to accommodate us. Food was delicious from a very large menu and kids menu is great. They even did a take away for the family dog (it is dog friendly). Would definitely recommend.

Excellent food very quick service we booked a table for 12 no problem, very good waitress kept the food warm for guests who were late. Even better news little furry friends are welcome!! I left with a barking brunch snack for my dog. 1st time visit will definate return, I highly recommend a visit Service how it should be!

Amazing seasonal drinks their ginger bread latte is very nice staff were friendly and approachable definitely recommend for the honeycomb latte.

Only recently found this little gem of a place. Wish I had discovered it earlier. Can’t fault anything to be honest. The food is excellent. Times I’ve been it hasn’t disappointed. Guys out front are always welcoming and smiling. Tend to your every need.

We had a lovely late lunch and enjoyed every part of the meal. Smoothie was delicious, my avocado sandwich amazing, my partner really liked the full Scottish breakfast and our dog had chicken pancakes which also looked pretty good! Portions are big and it’s good value for money. The cafe is dogs friendly and have nice freshly prepared dishes for dogs (even those with allergies find something good). Nice atmosphere and lovely staff! Will be back soon.

Paid £50 to not get what was requested/paid extra for or any substitutes. Two tiny pancakes is also a joke. Not worth the money. In reply to the comment it was through delivery, no one wrote a note or anything to say if you were maybe out of something. Missing hash browns and black pudding. A traybake was not given. Only the things I ordered and paid for wouldn’t have said anything if there was something to compensate for it!

Best place in Aberdeen for brunch, would highly recommend. Lovely cafe, the food is exceptional and the staff is wonderful. The minute you walk in you’re greeted with amazing service, massive bonus that it’s dog friendly as well. I go here regularly with my dogs and they love it just as much as I do! You’re missing out big time if you don’t give this place a visit, my favourite place for some great coffee and an awesome brunch.

Went today with my kids as they always remember it's been good whenever we've been before. Their pancakes were up there with the best they've had and the brunch stacks are ace. Waitress was greet, very nice, friendly and was happy to help with everything. Love this place.

First time trying cafe ahoy, excellent service and quality of breakfast. Driven past must be hundreds of times wished we'd stopped earlier. Will definitely be back for breakfast and look forward to trying lunch. 5 stars all the way.

Nice place for breakfast / brunch / lunch. Had a few breakfasts here but today was lunch. Haggis and mozzarella panini was really nice with a small salad and crisps. Partner had a panini off the specials board and the grandson had a ham and cheese sandwich which he completely finished and that doesn't happen often. I like their coffee which arrives well before the food as its freshly prepared. Small outdoor area if it's a nice day and dog friendly inside and out.

I recently visited cafe ahoy and was greeted with nothing but smiles and warm hearts. I cannot begin to express how magnificent the food and atmosphere were, although the real star of the show was the service. All staff were lovely but one girl in particular was a standout, thank you to the oh so charming ginger girl who made our day at the cafe ahoy. 10/10 would recommend !!!

Had lunch here today. The waitress was friendly and efficient. I asked for something different to what was quoted on the menu and it was no trouble at all. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be back soon.

What a LOVELY place! Sunday morning brunch with Hannah waiting on me. Tea was tasty with milk & sugar. The bravacodo was so tasty. Avacado with hint of lemon with 2 poached eggs and 2 hash browns. Very filling and delicious. When sister and her DH arrived they had carrot & coriander soup, also delicious and we split a slice of carrot cake. Loaded with frosting, it was heavenly! Lastly, I had a hot mocha which topped off the meal perfectly!

Was the first time we had ever visited café Ahoy and initially, we were pleasantly surprised at the attentiveness of the staff. They were great and couldn't really fault them. However, when it came to the food, the quality and standard was well below what I was expecting for a place which charged £16 for a full cooked breakfast. Some of the ingredients were alright such as the eggs, black pudding and pancakes but it was very noticeable about the quality of the sausages which reminded me of the Tesco value frozen sausages (the pack of 20 you can get for £1.50). the beans were tasteless, the haggis had an extremely odd taste to it and the potato scones (tattie scone) was so hard and dry that it hurt my teeth trying to bite into it (texture was as if it had been re-heated after being cooked hours prior and was hard). Not a place I would recommend based on the food or plan on ever going back unfortunately. Disappointed as had high hopes for this place.

Looked on the internet for a dog friendly cafe to go for some food while in Aberdeen and this place popped up. What a lovely find it was. The man serving was polite and attentive. The food I ordered was lovely. I will most definitely return. Handy it allowed dogs in also. Highly recommend

Vegetable sausages were lovely. If you visit here you must try the Scotch Bonnet ketchup it is amazing, not as hot as you would think. Well worth a visit, lovely place

We visited Cafe Ahoy for breakfast during a short visit in Aberdeen. While the menu is not overly large there is a good variety of choices. The food was tasty, the coffee was rich and strong, and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable too. I liked the bright airiness and decor of the space. We would go there again.

I took my girls out for their birthday and we had a fantastic time. I would recommend for anyone looking for a tasty breakfast and a wonderful atmosphere.

We visit cafe ahoy on a regular basis it's the best place to eat down the beach. I love the varied selection of specials available and both my kids and I would attest to them having the best pancakes. I'd also recommend the bravacado and the sharing boards are perfect!

One of the first places I went out to for food when I moved to the city. I always enjoy the breakfast options and the staff are really friendly and hard working. The cafe is dog friendly and has outdoor seating for when the weather is better. A great visit near the beach and main city centre but never too busy.

I always pass this place & I finally got to go there today for a spot of lunch with my friend. The place was really busy & the young man that served us was really friendly & efficient. He was rushed off his feet but he had everything under control. Big selection of food to choose from. We decided on a pot of tea, white coffee, freshly baked cheese scone a piece of homemade apple cake & a bowl of freshly fried chips. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her scone. The apple cake was so amazingly yummy I could've ate another one, chips were so crispy & hot. Will definitely come again. Thank you 😊

Came by one morning for breakfast and coffee. Full breakfast was very nice, not over cooked or too oily. Our server was a lovely young lad, very attentive and quick. Latte was very pleasant. We sat outside as inside was small and quite busy, making it extremely warm. We would definitely recommend to try out.

Terrible breakfast! Everything was luke warm except from the hash brown. God knows where the potato scone was from, like cardboard. The haggis tasted sour also. Told staff and was still charged for it! Wont be going back.

Fantastic. I was staying close by with friends for a wedding in an Airbnb. Sure we could have catered for ourselves but why bother when there is such a great cafe nearby. I had the full Scottish breakfast one morning and the bacon and maple syrup pancakes stack the next. Both highly recommended. As is the veggie breakfast had by one friend.

I ordered deliveroo breakfast and i got the stacks with nutella and strawberries. It was really nice but i wish you could pay to have extra things, bananas would've made it better and maybe another sauce. Thats something they should consider.
