Love this place always lovely food

First time visit to Mi Amore for a family lunch, very nice decor and nice seats, we were seated on the ground floor through the back and were quickly served for drinks, ordered what was a nice bottle of savion blanc, shared a breaded calamari starter which we didn't wait long at all for and came with salad and 2 dips, Marie Rose and a tomoato based one, nice!. My daughter went for a plain cheese and tomato pizza, my Mrs asked if mussles can be done as a main and they duly obliged, I went for a seafood risotto done in white wine sause and saffron, (or you can have it done with a tomato sause) which had mussles, monkfish, calamari and prawns. Everyone's was delighted with their food, my daughter said it was probably her favourite ever pizza and I had a slice and can vouch for it being very tasty indeed. The price for main courses is very reasonable averaging £15. Lots of choices, pasta, risotto, pizza, steaks. Service was spot on and again we didn't wait long at all for our food which was delivered by pleasant staff. There are several dishes that I mulled over so we're definitely returning in the near future. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant, its a very nice place to be for yummy food.

I recently visited this charming Italian restaurant and had a wonderful dining experience. The place has a rich history and a cozy, inviting ambiance that adds to its charm. We tried their white sauce pasta, which was absolutely brilliant—creamy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Alongside it, we enjoyed a glass of red wine, which complemented the meal beautifully. The service was excellent—fast, efficient, and friendly. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I’d highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Italian food in a lovely setting.

The food arrived still quite hot, unfortunately the Lasagne was over seasoned so was somewhat salty. Overall the food was good and would use again but will think twice before ordering the lasagne.

Booked this restaurant at very short notice and they could fit us in no problem. The staff are super attentive and helpful. The price point was excellent for the Chicken wrapped in parma and stuffed with mozarella. Unfortunately the chicken was pretty tough and had been pre cooked as arrived in well under 10mins from ordering. Not much sign of wrapped in parma ham or stuffed with mozarella, more like parma layed over the chicken with cheese on the side. Negatives aside, it was super tasty and we were glad to get food at short notice. Price point was bang on at £40 fo two with drinks (£10). The staff were excellent and well deserved their tip. Would definitely return if in Aberdeen again and would even try the same dish again.

I ordered a steak and was very impressed. The side dishes were great. My wife ordered a chicken breast dish and was very impressed. All around it was great. We can recommend local. Service top.

Had lunch with 2 friends. I had booked online but they had no record of the booking. I showed them the email confirmation I had received. Our order was taken quickly but then they brought the wrong food! No-one checked that we were happy with the dishes. When it came time to pay, I had to go to the desk to ask for the bill. As a fairly regular customer, I felt that standards of service had slipped. But the food was great!

A M A Z I NG if you want to have same delicious food this is the place! We had a selection of starters and my friend ordered chicken breast with a creamy sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious! The brushetta is just how I like it nice and soft as well as garlic bread. The prawns in tomato sauce are to die for! The chicken was very tender and the creamy sauce was amazing also comes with lovely potatoes and vegetables on the side! We enjoyed everything so much! The service was spot on! The owner and staff make the experience very pleasant and we felt very well taken care of. Absolutely need to visit again! Highly recommend this place!

Some staff seemed new or with little experience. Tables weren't cleared, meals were passed over one dinner to get to the other. The floors were being swept while dinners still eating! Food was plentiful and really tasty, 100% Atmosphere was delightful. Would certainly visit again.

Very nice Tortellini with porcini mushrooms filling, could have eaten twice as much. Big leafy salad. Would I go back again? Yes and try some different dishes. Tasty food at a very reasonable price.

By far the best food we have had our whole trip, would highly recommend this restaurant, the whole experience was 10/10 from the food to the staff. The bruschetta al pesto was like nothing I’ve had before, can’t wait to come back in the future.

After eating here a few times over the past couple of years, I have yet to be disappointed by any of their dishes. The steaks both me and my girlfriend had on our latest visit were absolute perfection, and the service was tremendous. This is not a venue I hear thrown into the mix when discussing steaks in Aberdeen but I will be recommending it to anyone that asks.

I’ve ordered here so many times and never been disappointed once. Every single meal I’ve tried has been outstanding, flavours are gorg, food is always piping hot when delivered, fresh. Good portions. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. 10/10 every time

Always a lovely meal we have been here about 4/5 times now and always satisfied, i would rank it in top 3 italians in aberdeen great service. Only negative was that we were a little cramped for space the last time we went and when we asked to move table we couldnt as it would have blocked the waiters way to serve other tables

The restaurant itself is very clean and a lovely decor however the food is very basic and the mains are definitely something you could make at home. We weren’t very happy. We booked a table a week in advance and twice told them We had a pram. They then put us on a table that was upstairs so had to carry the pram upstairs and also gave us a space with no room for the pram to go and because of this I have lowered the stars to give them.

After paying the bill and leaving a generous tip, was stopped in a very rude manner when leaving for not paying the bill. Had to produce the credit card receipt for proof payment, shocking. Will never go again.

3 staff members asked if we were ready to order in quick succession after telling the first we would need more time. This turned out to be a theme. If only they communicated with each other. We ordered Italian bread and marinated olives for while we were deciding. Petit pain and olives that were not marinated arrived. When I commented to the waiting staff that this was not Italian or marinated no response was given. I asked for my comments to be passed on but no one came to speak to us. This and the annoying waiting staff asking us the same questions 3 times is what stopped me giving more stars. The main course saved the day unfortunately I didn’t take photos as we couldn’t wait to tuck in. Linguine fruitti de mare was delicious the sauce I chose the tomato base sauce and I could have mopped it up with my petit pain if I had saved any! Gluten free pizza was also really good and what we couldn’t eat was popped in a box to take home. Tagliatelle veneziane was also a great dish

If you want Italian food done right, in Aberdeen, do yourself a favour and book in here. Loved it!

For those who order your food. This restaurant has no facility to accommodate drivers. The result is the drivers must wait by the waste bins at the front of the restaurant. If a driver attempts to enter the restaurant, he or she has the order number taken and is forced to the street. The restaurant do not want scum in their establishment. So, the result is, if you order your food, the food handover takes place in the miasma of the food and general waste bins, with the flies and the maggots, because the restaurant food handover simply cannot take place inside the restaurant because “scum drivers”, a waiter simply drops your food outside next to the bins to the driver. Take this for what it is, if you attend, you’re welcome is likely great but if you order your food, it’s delivered to the street next to the bins because these people think you are an idiot and won’t know.

Our first visit with friends who had visited before. The food was excellent all but one of the waiting staff were very professional and pleasant. The very disappointing part which did ruin my experience was as we were being welcomed to the restaurant we were very abruptly told we had our table for only two hours( we then had a bit of a wait for our order to be taken). If I had been told this at the point of booking( which of course I should have been) I would either have changed the time of my booking or not booked at all. We were made to feel uncomfortable and rushed and being of a certain age had we been afforded the time we may actually have had a sweet- we did witness a table of ten being rushed to have their sweets; the young children did not have time to finish them. We did discuss this with the lovely young waiter and he did say he would inform his management team. Sadly no one addressed our concerns before we left the restaurant; hence this long review 🤔😪😒

I love Italian food so I picked this place for my birthday meal with friends. I told them ahead of time that I have coeliac disease and again when the server took our order just to be safe. They made my pasta gluten free but while I was eating it I noticed there was some normal pasta in there so stopped eating and told the waitress. She was so apologetic and went and spoke to the chef. Unfortunately the chef did not respond apart from to offer me a glass of wine. Wine won't help as I'm now going to have to deal with being unwell for the next week. They also tried to charge me for the pasta! I felt sorry for the waitress being made to come and apologise when it had nothing to do with her. Won't be going back there. Not coeliac safe!!

Lovely experience at this restaurant. Nice space, with seating upstairs. Food came quickly and did not disappoint. Calamari, pasta, spinach cannilloni, salad etc. were delicious. Glad we came here instead of one of the chain restaurants. Our server was also great.

I was looking for a good Italian restaurant to sit in and dine but unfortunately they were full of bookings and really busy but they did offer us takeout. A busy restaurant is a good sign maybe next time we will try when we visit.

When I finish work I just want to go home but not to cook! The take away here is amazing and same quality you would get to sit in! I've had starters, pizza and pastas easy to collect friendly atmosphere! My fav itallia

We visited for the first time as a group of 5 people. Everything was great. The place was very clean and pleasant. The service was outstanding. The only downside I would see in the service is that they didn’t check on us and if we liked the food, but that is just an extra thing that would of been nice to see with the level of everything else provided. They brought the food out for everyone at once and all of the food was right temperature and stayed hot for a long time. The food was brought out in the correct order which is rare to see. The food was very tasty and all dishes were perfect portion sizes if not more than expected. They were generous on Parmesan and water. Really liked them bringing two bottles of water to the table incase anyone wanted. The menu is very detailed and every member of staff is very lovely. The wait time for food was on average 10-15 min but that was in a non-busy time, so will vary.

The garlic bread flat bread wasn’t as I ordered

The food was nice but not exceptional. The tiramisu was overly sweet and not traditional, topped with spray cream, blueberry sauce, and fresh blueberries. I expected something more authentic from Italian bistro.

Very efficient and a tasty meal

They came up to us asking if we were finished and if they could take our plates more than 5 times in the span of a few minutes even thought we said no every time. When we got the dessert menu, they made us feel stressed to order. We felt like they were trying to hurry us so they could get our table, but we had booked a two hour sitting and this was only an hour in. The staff were very stressed and it made it hard to relax when they were running around (this was not at a busy hour, the restaurant was half empty) They did not make us feel welcome. The food was good though so it would have been better as take away

Lovely little restaurant which was a stones throw from our hotel. Very polite & attentive staff. Food was generously portioned & tasty (only downside was my steak was more on the well done side than the medium id asked for) Well priced & had i gone for anything else on the menu id probably have been really happy Would go again!

I have never been here before but I look forward to going back. The food here was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, full of flavours, the Mi Amore special just melted in your mouth. They have a good selection of wines and everything was reasonably priced.

Such a lovely place to eat. Not only is the food absolutely delicious but the staff are so nice and overall atmosphere is magical.

Booked for a table of 6 on Friday and we were not disappointed. Lovely clean and cosy and the smell in the air give you an Instant appetite. Food was delicious, hot, authentic and the staff could not be more helpful and accomadating. A free shot at the end of the meal to top it off was a really nice gesture. We will be back again without a doubt.

Food and staff are absolutely brilliant, atmosphere is generally good but we're given a table for two in what amounts to the path between the kitchen/back door and the rest of the restaurant and felt somewhat uncomfortable with all the people and staff constantly zipping past brushing against the table or even ourselves through no fault of their own, that specific table is just a bit in the way of anyone trying to walk past really.
