Wow, fabulous food and made to feel most welcome. Dog friendly, Harris just loved David the co-owner. The Sunday beef roast was just the best we have ever had, a must. The food was so good we booked for the Italian night later in the week. The lasagna is to die for. Sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream was stunning. Best book of your going as you may be disappointed if you turn up, tables fill fast. Jason, Lesley and Harris.

Went for breakfast, only got half a sausage, when we asked why we were told that as they were thicker than usual sausages they were only giving half- bit miserable as we go quite often!! Ordered brown toast, got white not for the first time either. Very disappointed!!

Went here with my wife on Sunday 6th October 24 after a visit to Kelso Races. The staff are ultra friendly & very chatty. The food is beautiful and I have to say the portion sizes of Chicken are the largest we’ve ever had. Prices are same as most other UK Indian Restaurants. All in all we would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant. I give this restaurant 99% out of 100%. The 1% bad thing is the fact that one of the Staff supports Man City. I made sure I cleaned my fork properly because I don’t want to catch Man City syndrome and end up being a City Fan. Thank you guys. We will be back.

Was housesitting for a friend and decided to cheat on dinner on my last night. The Blackadder was just a short walk. I found the server very friendly and charming. Had the Brie for starter and then the Balmoral chicken which was lovely. You know you've had a good meal when you feel a little depressed when you reach the bottom of the plate!

What a great find! Everything homemade and absolutely delicious. Very pleasant welcoming staff and just wish we lived closer as we would make it a regular place to eat.

Under new management with great hosts, Chris and Jacqui, and an excellent chef. The fire is always lit, the pub has a great selection of real ale with regular guest beers. The wine choice is also great with lovely wines by the glass. But the real star is the food. A great choice of dishes with daily specials. Have eaten there 4 times and I highly recommend giving it a try.

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Duns less than 5 minutes walk from the museum. Great choice on the lunch menu with light bites, substantial sandwiches and main meals. Had the tart of the day and one of the salad specials - both really tasty. The atmosphere was lovely with a great welcome and very friendly. We’re looking for an excuse to go back but it’s an 800 mile round trip so it might be a wee while till we get there again.

Had a stop here during a day trip to the borders. My teen son had the big breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly. He highly recommends the sausages. I had an amazing coffee and was welcome to sit and relax, not rushed out. Dog was treated like a queen, they brought her a bowl of water and had treats for her. The value for money is phenomenal, the plate was full with really well seasoned food. It’s difficult to find places that welcome your dog so openly on a day out. We had no problem getting parked and were in walking distance of a lovely little park with a viewpoint over the river.
