The best restaurants in Nith Dumfries & Galloway Lowlands

Went for a family members 80th birthday ( group of 22) staff were very attentive, great selection of food everyone enjoyed their meal.

I usually enjoy eating here but my last visit was a bit uncomfortable.The waitress was friendly and took our order quickly.After a while our food was served which was fine but 5 minutes later and no sign of our drinks.I called to the waitress who looked like a rabbit caught in headlights and she asked a colleague to bring us our drinks.I wasn't rude but i think she was a little upset as she spoke to her boss and she was gesturing and glancing in my direction.Not sure if i want to go back.

Visited the Frothy this morning for the first & very last time as the cafe is closing. Whilst the cafe was comfortable the coffee wasn’t the best ever tasted and we were stunned at the price! Compared to other coffee houses close by it was surprising; could this be a reason they are not finding it profitable?

Best cooked breakfast Dumfries has to offer, bar none! Great coffee too. Really comfortable and peaceful space with views of the golf course. Well priced and friendly service

Tried for the first time tonight. We had a mixed bag...tacos,pizzas,burger and chicken nuggets. All we could say was DELICIOUS! Our new favourite eatery.

Amazing play area for children went with a family from Scotland for the week and came here. Was a amazing place Aware of allergies too

The salt and pepper chips and chicken balls were really good, but the curry was a bit watery compared to what I'm used to. My partner didn't like her black bean at all. It's not the worst place I've ever been, but it's definitely not the best.

I ordered online Voucher didn't work and they got all my order wrong

Good fish and chips at a good price. Star lost for chips being a bit small. Fish was very good. We sat in. Great service.

Popped in again today for lunch. Great food, warm welcome from staff and very enjoyable. Lovely area for walking also Can't wait for warmer weather to try the beer garden.

Small pub, plenty of choice. If they do food, it's not well advertised.

Authentic and handmade to order sushi, lovingly made. Don't think I've ever been served by kids before lol, I'm sure they'll grow up to be great sushi chefs too if they want to! Right on

I had a pick up and it wasn't available and that was fine! But it was at that point that the manager stepped up and sorted out the situation! She just totally stepped up without me having to say or do anything. Thank you so much your amazing customer service and keeping me being disappointed.
