TACOMEX in Dumfries & Galloway

Tried for the first time tonight. We had a mixed bag...tacos,pizzas,burger and chicken nuggets. All we could say was DELICIOUS! Our new favourite eatery.

I stayed in Dumfries for a week with work and restaurants were still closed (due to pandemic) so I worked my way around Deliveroo. This place didn't have a very high rating there, nor that many reviews, so I left it till late in my stay but wish I had ordered from here earlier. Honestly, the nicest food I had during my stay. I ordered 3 chicken tacos, a quesadilla, and a burrito. I was stuffed after eating the quesadilla and 2 of the tacos. Not sure what other reviewers are complaining about RE: size of the tacos - I didn't think they were noticeably smaller than anywhere else I've ordered them. My only recommendation for improvement would be around the toppings. I got my tacos with both guac and salsa but the guac was not fresh avocado but that "guacamole-flavour" topping you see at the supermarket. Still tasted very good overall though. Also, no option for sour cream which is clearly the best option in any scenario.

Absolutely horrendous. Ordered off Deliveroo, was 45 minutes late and had to phone to see where it was (was closed at this point!) but seemed to be continuing to accept orders. Gent on the phone was apologetic but seemed as if complaints were the normal... 1 small taco is nearly £6.00 (that's the pic uploaded, I couldn't believe how small it was for £6.00!) and they're TINY. Like, eaten in 2 bites tiny. Nachos came with cheese that wasn't melted, it was all stuck to the top of the box it was an absolute joke. Would never, ever recommend! Been offered a full refund by them, will be closely following this refund guarantee via Deliveroo. Avoid!

First time order. Won't be our last. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Superb.

Very nice food however the portion sizes are very small.. This is coming from someone who doesn't eat takeaway that often. 15 quid for two tiny tacos and a burrito is but steep, was expecting a bit more for my money.

Mexican Food in the heart of the Dumfries town centre! It's a Miracle! Absolutely delicious tacos! could not recommend more.
