Absolutely lovely time, and a big thanks to Karen @ the complex, a lovely lunch, with lots of TLC, and made the birthday lunch special. Followed by great kid’s entertainment with the animals & science show! Brilliant team, brilliant show, we will be back!! Thank you for going out your way to make us relaxed and happy!

We stopped here and was closed but bless them they opened early for us. And omg it was the best service and atmosphere you could ask for. The pancakes are mouth watering and there was no issue in ordering something different off menu. The drinks are freshly made using fresh fruit. Highly recommend and would happily travel the 4 hours to eat here again

Visited Selkirk whilst on holiday in the area, nice sunny day so sat outside with our dog. My husband ordered leek and potato soup served with bread/butter. I opted for the chicken Mayo sandwich with crisps/salad/coleslaw. Both had lattes. Everything was delicious and served by a very friendly member of staff. Definitely would return and recommend

Another gorgeous experience at the Garden Cafe. The food was divine as always and the portions for the money are quite substantial. We had quiche, salad, cake and coffee. All were fabulous and the staff are lovely and so accommodating.

This cafe has a really distinctive menu for its size with a choice of meat- fish- and plant-based dishes. They were extremely attentive to a very unusual dietary issue which involved them adapting several elements of one of their menu items. Both waiter and chef spoke to me before we settled on a dish. This was all handled in really friendly manner.

A great find. Friendly service and delicious generously filled toasted club sandwiches. Super coffee too. Would definitely return if we revisit this area in the future.

Got to say, I’ve never had a bad meal or experience in here. The ham hock and lentil soup as amazing, the steak and mushroom pie was outstanding. It was packed with lean steak in a lush, beefy broth type gravy. Great fies, a la dente peas and everything was piping hot and cooked to order. Even the plates were warm, which I always appreciate. The staff were great and the owner is a real friendly guy. If yer heading North or South on the A68, make sure this is yer pit stop, even for a coffee and cake. Made me smile today whilst I was eating, it was that good. It looks like a greasy spoon if you pass it on the road, but it’s not! It’s on a par with very good pub grub, and it’s really clean inside, as is the kitchen which I passed on the way to use the bathroom.

No kids menu but they split the adult pizza for our boys to share. Pizzas and garlic bread were absolutely amazing, just perfect. Pasta great too. Tirimasu a little dry but other desserts lovely. Very friendly staff. Would go back.

Wonderful and welcoming wee cafe within Gracefield Arts, lots of space between tables. Managed to grab a pot of tea, and homemade mint rocky road before it closed. Lots of delicious looking cakes on offer, very good value and affordable prices. Was able to dry off after a downpour, and not rushed. Then was able to visit the exhibition and look around the shop, which was full of lovely local crafts, good quality art cards and gifts
