T42 Express in Scottish Borders

I was I today for a quick lunch. It was my first visit but couldn’t fault the service. The lady who served me was fantastic. Nothing too much hassle, genuine interest in speaking with me and a lovely lunch served. She’s a credit to the business.

Having previously heard that the take out buffet service from Tea 4 2 was such a good deal, I decided to order one for my mother in laws birthday tea. Well, disappointed is not the word. £40 for 6 people, 15 slivers of sandwiches, one wrap to make 12 minute rolls with the same filling as the sandwiches, 6 shop bought small sausage rolls, 12 wee scones with with barely enough clotted cream and jam to cover them all and a selection of small cakes. Definitely will not recommend

Good food with cheerful service. It’s always busy and justifiable so. Excellent value and clean space.

Needed a cuppa and we were recommended here by Dalgety's. It was excellent and the staff excellent. It has a lovely atmosphere and was filled with local people enjoying each others company, just as it should be

Stopped in today for a light lunch. Had a lovely soup and sandwich with the Mrs and 5yo son. A few toys kept the little guy entertained along with all the teapots. Food was very good, friendly service and very reasonable. A little gem

We have since the express T42 opened used their services on numerous occasions when we need food for an event or meeting, The selection, quality and value for money that we have received and the fact that they deliver to our venue is brilliant,

Si te gusta discutir el entorno y tengo cosas para mirar mientras espera su comida o comer este es el lugar para ti.Es deliciosamente bohemio, con un personal amable y una comida estupenda. Buena relación calidad-precio.Sólo se detuvo para café y bollos, pero esta vez nos quedamos tentados por el menú de la comida también.También hacen catering fuera que estoy seguro sería delicioso.Sólo un pequeño establecimiento pero que incluya en un montón de ideas sabrosas y generar calidez como entras por la puerta. Necesitamos apoyo a lugares como este antes de que son desplazados por las grandes empresas. Esperamos regresar/visitas!

This is the hidden ' secret ' of Galashiels , when people arrive at the Transport Exchange , its just a few steps away on the right side from the Front Entrance - yet unknown unless you look for it - what it does , is give great food , to order and fresh to takeaway and nice coffee or tea ( there is a table where you can eat at inside )its a small place but there is a large selection of eats and drinksthe soup they make is always very nice and tasty you can save a bit of money if you get your coffee her for the train instead of inside the Exchange at ' Born in the Borders '
