The best restaurants in Lowlands

Welsh adventure couple needing a hot breakfast. After reading great reviews online. We just had to stop and have a breakfast. Amazing food. No waiting and the owners are very friendly. Definitely recommend for awesome food.

Very disappointed. Lukewarm coffee, cold sausage rolls, very slow service. Redeeming feature, the delicious fruit scones. Tasty, fruity and enjoyable. Overall, overpriced and not impressed

Great little cafe. Excellent bacon, sausage, and egg role for the price. Coffee was ok. Opens early.

Amazing play area for children went with a family from Scotland for the week and came here. Was a amazing place Aware of allergies too

We were directed here by the Hotel next door who were not serving food till 5pm. We walked into this very old interesting church to be met by some very friendly locals who made us very welcome. The building is being renovated so don't expect to find a fully functioning café, They offered us a meal deal of soup and a roll, a slice of cake and a coffee for £5 it was all served very nicely by the locals. If your passing give it a try to support their work. The soup and cake was delicious and a bargain at £5.

Tried for the first time tonight. We had a mixed bag...tacos,pizzas,burger and chicken nuggets. All we could say was DELICIOUS! Our new favourite eatery.

Wonderful spot for lunch. A must. Menu incredibly imaginative. Great for vegetarians and everyone. Such an interesting menu that I had difficulty making up my mind but glad I choose the katsu curry crispy cauliflower on a brioche bun with Asian slaw. Wow. Coffee lovely and toasty and they sell and grind it for you to take away a bag.

Favourite place for coffee in beds. Doesn't look like much from outside but don't let that fool you! Staff are always super friendly too.

Fish and chips best I've had in a long time, lovely food, friendly welcome, if you are visiting try this place you won't be disappointed

This is our Second chinese meal from China Blue in a week on our holiday in Stranraer, i saw the reviews online before and definitely made the right choice, both meals we're great, the king prawn dish was ridiculous, they were HUGE, i always rate a chinese on the prawn crackers, normally when there good the meal will be good (which were free with our meal), they were some of the best I've ever had, very polite delivery drivers as well both times, can't wait to come back next year, first night guaranteed i know where our first meal will be.

After a spoiled lunch we all went to my favourite place just to change my mood because this is my favourite place to be. Had mango and coconut ice milk shake ahhhh that was amazing. Simpled loved it.
